As previous reviews said, terrible treatment of customers. After I got a new credit card and missed a payment because the old card expired, they cut my lock and hit me with exorbitant late fees. Didn t have my proper contact details on file, didn t contact me until I showed up myself to access my unit and couldn t get in, no leeway or flexibility. This seems to be part of their business model. Avoid this company.

Professional, friendly staff! Super helpful! Came through for me in a pinch and were very thorough when explaining everything to me. I love this place! I highly recommend this facility!!!! Edited to add... It's now been a few months. I had some trouble paying my bill.. these guys are absolutely amazing! If you keep them updated about your situation, they're patient and willing to work with you! Absolutely amazing! I will be consolidating both my units into this one! Thank you so much SROA!!!!

Knockout! Chelsea was my first contact, she was beyond excellent. At the shop, I spoke with Jennifer, and she was completely professional and cool and competent and we got everything done and she was excellent. Everything else good too, I recommend the place.

Prices have gone up without notice. Billing system is awful. Customer service is awful. You cannot ever get in contact with people in office and the 800 number is useless. The new company that bought this place out has drove it straight to the ground. I was locked out of my paid unit because of their system error and still had to fight to have it reopened with receipts to show it was paid. I m looking into new storage facilities asap as this is no longer a place I want to support.Update: after speaking with new management they ve made improvements and apologized for past company errors.

I needed a unit last minute and this place totally came through for me!The staff at the front desk, (I think his name was Slater) was very knowledgeable, courteous, and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a storage facility in this area!

Very disappointed in the new ownership of 5 star storage, storage rentals of America. No advance notice of a change over. Can't get a straight answer to any questions. Was a loyal customer for 6 years. Looking for a new storage company. They are changing things so all rent is due on the first. No more anniversary billing.The sign on the door said don't worry about late fees, no disruption in service. What a lie. My gate code has been suspended. No one has been in the office to pay the rent, can't do it online, can't do it over the phone. Can't leave a check. But they certainly will suspended your access.

I unexpectedly needed a storage unit and called Storage Rentals of America. I spoke with Marietta and she was wonderful. I was able to rent a unit, pay for it and sign the rental agreement electronically. Marietta was patient with me while I navigated the agreement. I would definitely refer customers to them in the future.

I have a storage unit at the Owego facility. SROA respond to calls very promptly and have been extremely helpful. They made a stressful moving situation much easier to deal with.

The prices at this location is getting out of hand...they keep increasing the prices and it's just ridiculous!! This is a storage unit not an apartment!!

Everything about my move was chaos and since the drivers lost the code to the storage unit I had to just purchase a new one since it was their after hours and I had not properly filled out my paperwork to get it retrieve by their 24 hour hotline (good security) . It was waaay to hectic for me to think straight due to moving crew deadline and the stress so I just rented a second unit at the 24 hour self serve kiosk. The staff was excellent in helping me resolve the issue and consolidate units when I was able to ask for help. The facility is super clean and clearly secure. Haha

If I could leave 0 stars I would, THIS PLACE TOTALLY INCOMPETENT AND IRRESPONSIBLE!! They stole $3,000 worth of things out of my storage unit cut my locks off& put they re locks on without any consent. CONTINUED to charge me after I already moved my things out of the unit went there 4 times too speak to a manager and no one was there. Called the 1800 number 10 times said they would call me back within 24-48 hours and NOONE returned my call DO NOT USE THEM!!

Get your things out now! They purposefully build their storage units on riverbanks so they can collect insurance and then they rebuild under a different company - all while your things will be in a bathtub of river water like what happened to Kirkwood's 5-star Storage Look where they are on the map. ALL ALONG THE RIVER.

While the prices and unit space are the best in the area, the staff were very unorganized and unresponsive. I made my reservation for a 4x5 unit 2 weeks in advance and I called numerous times to confirm my appointment, but no one answered. On my reservation day when I came on site there were no employees to help me and I called for help through the kiosk twice prior to waiting 45 minutes outside the office for assistance. The people through the kiosk couldn t even help me because they told me sometimes reservations don t register on their end. I didn t receive a call back until almost two hours later.

While the prices are fair, the fees for being overdue are expensive. The kiosk is down frequently, will not accept payments past due date, and the hours are extremely inconvenient for anyone that works to be able to pay in person. Multiple times over the past year and a half I have attempted to pay in the office and no one was present during open hours. There is no way to get anyone to come to the desk if they are out in the units. When I contacted the manager, I was told that they are not here for customers convenience. 3 days in a row I showed up to pay my bill and no one was in the office during office hours. I also contacted the office to switch to a smaller unit and never received a response back.

DO NOT RENT FROM!!! Nobody is ever at the Johnson city or owego office. No one answers the phone or returns calls. Can't pay online or over the phone. 1-800 # is no help..... they are clueless about how these locations have NO working staff!!

So far, so good. The parking lot was clean. Access to our unit was easy, customer service was very nice. So all in all things are fine. The unit was a 'tiny' bit messy (with dust and dirt) but it is an outside unit so that is to be expected. Good place and very convenient.

It is impossible to get anyone to answer the telephone at any of the three locations. I have tried during their regular business hours (which they must think they work at a bank, part time at that). Their office hours are horrible and definitely not for people that work a normal job. They never notified their renters that the name was changing or that they sold the business. I found out when I called multiple times and continuously got an answering machine. I did leave multiple messages and never received a response back. I would not recommend this storage company at any of its locations. They can not be reached by telephone and are only in the office when they want to be, which is not often!

I'm so surprised to see the prior reviews. My daughter is a junior at Suny Binghamton and we have been storing the stuff from her dorm over the summer at All Around since her freshman year. We have always been treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. The office staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Our items are always retrieved perfect. We have never had a problem. They even help us out with the rate if we run a little late. I'm feel fortunate to have found this place and not have to drag the contents of the dorm back and forth.
