What can I say? It s the typical Home Depot experience except trying to return a truck. It s super busy around the customer service desk and one tiny sign.The customer service person I worked with was very friendly. But given that there was a large line, it took close to 30 minutes just to talk to someone.Overall, renting from Penske is definitely better than the alternatives, but this location isn t the most efficient.

3 times now I've rented Penske trucks at the Johnson City, NY Home Depot. Each time was flawless. The rates are extremely reasonable. The trucks are reliable. And the staff was friendly.

After a nearly three hour drive to pick up a van to do a job I was not looking forward to doing, the van I reserved over a month ago was not at the pick up place (Home Depot). Home Depot staff was fantastic trying to rectify the situation, but to no fault of their own it took a long time and no van was available at end of it. It was devastating at a very hard time. Will not use Penske again. Home Depot rocks though.
