I called D&S glass a week ago at the request of my homeowners insurance.. My picture window in the living room was damaged during the storm on April 16th 2023. So I have had all this water coming into my house destroying window blinds & carpet but no one to repair the glass. D&S never called me back.D&S responded after 2 weeks & sent someone to look at damage to my window & make recommendations. 2 weeks after that the senior person at D&S glass came to my house to examine the window.It just seems to take D&S a long time to respond to a call for help. However, everyone is very pleasant & helpful when responding.

I had a cracked windshield from late September that I needed replaced. I shopped around and decided on D & S Glass. The crack from the first windshield was deep and on the middle of my window. I do not have pictures of that first cracked windshield. I had the windshield replaced finally mid October. 5 days later, I noticed the cracks shown in the pictures. The windshield sounded as if it had not settled correctly at the time, but I assumed that it need 48 hours. Upon bringing the windshield back, I was told that I must have been hit by a rock, and that is simply not the case. There were no visible or large surface cracks either on the windshield that looked anything like a rock hitting. The cracks were determined to be stress fractures by another company that I went to to have this new windshield replaced. They discovered that too much of the glue was used that it never dried. The windshield was flexing near the bottom from day one, and then cracked because of it. After a second attempt of addressing this in hopes of getting a refund, they again said that it was a rock and not their craftsmanship that caused this. I was not offered any kind of warranty or any other advice/guidance from them when they took my money for the windshield. So now I am out $400 and left a very bad taste in my mouth because they refused to even consider that this may be their fault. I will stick to trusted brand companies for now on where I know they can afford the extra time to work with their customers.

If there was a way to rate the quality of service alone I would rate D&S a 5 for the repair they did on my patio door. After they replaced and adjusted the rollers on the bottom of the door, I can open and close it with one finger which is a far cry from the way it operated since we moved into our condo. That said, my mistake was not getting an estimate from them in advance. My advice is to ask for an estimate and take the time to get competitive prices if you want to avoid sticker shock.

They ordered in the windshield glass for my 2013 Hyundai Tucson. Accommodated a prescheduled appointed I had for the same day at an oil change shop. Got my car right in when I arrived & had the glass replaced while I waited. It was truly a pleasure to do business with D&S Glass. I will definitely be back with any future glass needs whether it be home or auto. Thank you so much.

I came to D & S Glass on a Wednesday afternoon with a cracked windshield. Told them we were leaving for vacation at 4pm on Friday. They told me they would repair the windshield and have it ready by noon on that Friday. They did not disappoint. Stellar customer service. Thank you D&S Glass! You went above and beyond! Called for a quote Monday for replacement glass on my home, service person sent out Tuesday (to do the quote, I didn't expect a quote to be done for a week or so really, so that was awesome) and repaired within a couple hours! Very satisfied with the staff from the first phone call made, to the service person that came to the house, the price quote, the payment, and of course my extra large fixed window! Just love it! Thank you guys, highly recommended!

I called D&S first thing on a Monday morning after shattering my french door window on Saturday. They were at my home within an hour, assessed the project and returned to replace the window before noon. Each and every one of the people I spoke with were polite, professional and exceptional! I can't say enough about them and would recommend D&S to anyone needing glass work.

make sure you check prices !!! with the competitors they doubled the price on a single sliding door glass from $175 to $350 used old gasket stripped screws after more checking .everyone else is at $175 home depot has new door with frame$ 109. whole new set 2 doors with frame $288.00

I called today and ordered a mirror in a specific size for a window frame. They called back in a couple hours to say it was ready and it couldn t be more perfect!! They were fast and extremely nice!!

My Dad was born and raised in Celeron. He enlisted in the Marines in the early 70s and continued his military career in the Mid-west as an officer. He recently decided to retire in Bemus Point with my Mom. We rented a moving truck which was contracted with D & S Glass to move our parent s belongings back to Lake Chautauqua. The truck broke down on us while crossing the I-86 bridge. This obviously created many delays and required the rental company to hire a moving company to pack our items into a new truck. Luckily we purchased the extra insurance which covered this experience. Once we finally finished unloading and our parents were settled, we returned the exchanged truck to D & S Glass. We were met with anger and unprofessionalism at the door. We were accused of causing the problem and were threatened with late fees. To top it all off, Mike LaTone told us they would be charging us over $8 a gallon for diesel to refill the exchanged truck s tank which was given to us with less than half a tank of fuel. The owner eventually threatened to call the police on my brother and I because we wouldn t leave after refusing to sign any paperwork under the circumstances. Mike LaTone ended up overcharging my parents for fuel and the extra time required to complete the move after the original truck broke down. We had to dispute the charges with KeyBank and Mike LaTone is still arguing that we are at fault and the charges are valid. This experience left my Dad wondering if moving back to his hometown was a good decision. He remembers the days when a family business used to support the community rather than belittle and overcharge them. I do not recommend D & S Glass to anyone.

Lock down your valuables because after using them I found my wallet much lighter. I was way way way over charged I'm thankful there are other glass companies.
