Took car to them needed to change blower motor keeps the car for 5 days on the fifth day I had to get the car and take to ford to be repaired Zee the manager and Kevin kept lying about the repair they both should be fired this is not how you deal with paying customers I will never go there not even to buy parts total waste of time I send an email to corporate no one responded ...

The employee Trey Racist, rude busy chasing girls and not doing his job. Also and they charge you $150 per hour expensive avoid at all cost if you value your vehicle,wallet and dignity

Had made the appointment in person a day prior. It was was an EV annual emissions inspection. In and out quickly. Only cost $10, so I tipped the 2 guys $15.

This review is more for the service center. I have never had problems when purchasing items from here, the service center is definitely money hungry. They should NOT be doing inspections. How do you inspect a car and not notice the gas cap was loose? And then still proceed to do the inspection without checking the code? I m thoroughly convinced they just hire anyone or are overworked. I don t feel they really care about people s cars unless you re there constantly or know someone.

Nice guys. Pep Boys in Merrick Blvd Jamaica, there are the best . But, Pep Boys in Sunrise Highway in Baldwin Long Island, the front line guys needs to be trained, I will never go back there for any reason. There administrative skills are so poor.

They are pretty good at finding the issue in a car. But one thing I'll add is they could be more focused on attending to all the customers. When they were resolving my car's issue, everyone pretty much left except a new guy who joined few weeks ago. The more responsible individuals in the store should be present until closing the shop. This was very surprising to see. Hopefully they address it in the future.

I used to come here all the time and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Today I called and spoke with a guy named Trey who was rude and abrupt! I won t be returning to this location!

The manager is a good person my appointment was 4pm I got there at almost 5pm he took care of my car and got it done in 2.5 hours amazing working guys5 STARS for them

My brand new battery died, after just two weeks of being installed. This happened during the weekend, but luckily Merrick Blvd Pepboys were open. I dropped off my car at Pepboys Merrick Blvd location on Saturday evening. Manager Zee was so helpful, pleasant and professional! He ensured, that the battery was replaced under the warranty and I was able to pick up my car on Sunday afternoon! I was very pleased with such high quality customer service, and I will certainly come back to this location!

Just came back to this pep boys again today after calling several times to make sure I could bring my car here to be serviced. They took my key I waited for an hour and a half I inquired about how much longer they would take. They then let me know something is going on with the employees and hours and that no one will service my car. Safe to say I will not ever be coming back here. This was a huge waste of time and you can not let whatever is going on in the corporation affect the customer s experience. I was offered 50% off if I returned the next day. However, I will not be coming back here and I wouldn t recommend.

I've been going to the Pep Boys on Merrick for years. 4 cars later and I still go them for car maintenance. Staff is always friendly and they will call to inform you about any other services that may be required.

Excellent and prompt service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Willing to show where discounts and coupons are available. Do your research and look for discounts, they will honor them.

I went in for a pre-inspection for a car I was looking to buy. They assisted me above and beyond, giving me a true assessment on the value of the car. There was work to be done on the car and the expense ended up costing more than what they initially said. However I was willing to pay bc I value customer service that much. I would rather pay more at a place that is assisting me above and beyond than pay for a less expensive service and deal w/ subpar customer service. It s a matter of trust for me and I trust their service and assistance.

It's two block from my house. However, their diagnosis is totally wrong. There was a noise in Mt steering wheel. They told me I have to change the whole front suspension and the bar which will cost $750 . I took it to the dealer, they change a rubber like washer which costs $ 9.97 , and $ 150 for the labor. Since then, I never go to them.

I give this store a 5 ratings because I just met two wonderful workers who made me feel welcome and very comfortable. I just replaced my four tires on my car and Peter whom I spoke to on the phone prior to going to the store was very patient, knowledgeable and very well spoken. I made my way to the store 09/11/2022 and I did not regret. He was awesome along with Nathaniel who worked on my car he answered all my questions and he did a great job. Peter keep up the great customer service spirit and Nathaniel awesome job. Thank you for making me feel welcome. I will definitely recommend Pep boys on Merrick blvd.

Great service, went in for a new full set of tires and alignment. Tires where on a special buy 3 get the 4th free. There was a bit of a wait but nothing crazy. All the staff where highly profesional.

The Pep Boys on Merrick Blvd and Liberty Ave was fast and efficient. The had an issue with finding the right tire size, because of course BMW makes nothing easy. The young men at Pep Boys was able to track down 4 Michelin Primacy 3 tires and I was able to get it put on, but it took a week. In the meantime, I was driving on run flats, thank goodness. I am very appreciative to the effort that Pep Boys took to get my tires. Now I feel like I am gliding on these Michelins.

If I can give NEGATIVE 10000 I would ! The worse place to bring your car.I asked for the manager and HE is the PROBLEM . Crazy management lies no follow thru poor communication. No wonder all the pep boys are closing down. Trash throw him and the whole store away

Peter was very professional and fun from entering the entity, while waiting and checking out. Everyone came in received a greeting even on the phone calls. He communicated well as we waiting and thanked each customers after they checked out! He was the only one running the front, which did not seem hard to him at all.

Not aware of my appointment when I asked how come, he had explanation. Then told me I would have to reschedule because an inspection takes and hour. But then said never mind and took me anyway. The inspection took 30 minutes. Then fails me for inspection because of loose screw when they could ve just tighten it for me.

This place sucks so much, worst mechanics. They always steal your money. Generally bad organization. Please do not go here. They said 2 to 3 hours and I'm still here waiting for them to fix my damn pumps. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!

Time estimate was 1.5 hrs, waited 5. Had to go across the street and buy my own part for the repair.Won t be retuning now that Peter is gone, the new manager said my car was fine, which proceeded to break down a couple hours later because the car was not drivable.

Good staff. Fast service. Odd- looking place w/no merchandise, no shelves anymore. Inspection was swift & thorough. I feel safe.
