Nice, helpful staff that took the time to address our concerns with our Audi. We had an emergency on the road and they took the time to inspect it and get us back on our way quickly. If we were to be in the area again and needed service we would come here first. Thank you!

I've been a customer of Gordon and Son going back to 1992 with my Hyundai, and I have never been disappointed in his service.17 years ago I moved over 1 hr away from Queens and I started having car problems with my Kia, I took my car to get diagnosed at two different auto repair shops and each place gave the same diagnosis but two different prices one was in the eight hundreds and the other price was over a thousand dollars. I called Arnie at Gordon and Son and told him what was going on with my car( but never told him I had it diagnosed at two different places) took it to him and got a call a few hours later that my car was done . Picked it up and paid half the price from my $800 quote, and it was diagnosed with the same problem.So 3 weeks ago, when my Dodge broke down, I took it to Gordon and Son. Thank you for your great customer service.

Great and quick service. We were stuck with 4 kids after our car wouldn t start in the JFK parking lot. Gordon & Son had is fixed quickly after it was towed to them, so we could be back in our way home. Staff was very kind and personable.

The reason I give them two stars Is because they up charged me for parts, they did a great job on the car, but they overprice me for parts over 2x the actual price , an OEM(which is more expensive) fuel inject cost 60 bucks, on the invoice it says they paid $155 and the intake gaskets are 58 bucks the invoice says they paid $95 which is insane.I understand the price of labor because they had to go under the intake manifold, but overcharging for parts in a time like this is a disgrace, I never go to this place again.*Update: so two days after the repairs I got a fuel leak, the mechanic replaced one injector , but broke the O-rings on two additional Injectors which caused a gas leak smh, not to mention there were screws missing from at least three different locations.

They are professional and listen to your issue. They make realistic suggestions and try to get you out as quickly as possible. The technicians are knowledgeable on a variety of cars.

Honest and reliable mechanic shop on Rockaway Blvd a few blocks from the Belt Parkway.I took my car in for a photo inspection. While at the shop, my front driver side seat got misaligned with the track. The mechanic was very knowledgeable, polite and professional. He resolved the issue right away at little cost. He even answered some of my wife random questions about different cars.Nice and clean waiting area. Very clean restroom. I saw an employee cleaning the bathroom with bleach. I never seen a bathroom that clean in a auto shop before.It's the little details that count.Thank YouLS

Years ago my Dad used Gordon & Son as his trusted mechanic station, not far from our home. I also got to know and use Arnie's services once I began driving my own car. After Christmas last week while visiting my sister in the same neighborhood, my parked car's battery died and when I called Arnie, he was immediately very helpful. One of his mechanics, a likewise pleasant young man named Sean came and 'Voila!' In just a few minutes I was happily able to drive again. There's nothing like great customer service, and I can't say Thank You enough, even after many years apart!

Very friendly staff. Arnie is the owner, he's a very nice and honest man. I would most definitely go back to him if I ever had issues with my car. My boyfriend has been going to him for years.

I had to stop going to this place because they never seem to fix my simple problems in 1 shot. It took them 3 times to figure out I had a nail in my tire which led to them finally breaking the valve stem to where I had to go elsewhere and get new tire sensors and eventually new tires that are 1 year old from this place due to them never doing an alignment. A simple inspection and they left my cap open to the transmission fluid so that when I turned my heat on it stunk up my cab like mad. Power steering fluid leak , they changed the tank and the next day the piping started leaking. Had them blow out my moon roof drains and they blew the tubes off to where when it rained , water came through my overhead light. Shame on me for going back to them . But I'm happy I found a place that has enough respect for their customers and pointed out prior issues this place made.

Came in for a Stage inspection and insurance photo inspection. They greeted me and asked if I needed help right away. Not like most mechanics. I was in and out in 15 minutes and while k was waiting I observed the actions by the manager/owner and their staff and they are very professional. I own 3 businesses myself so I appreciate the value of this service

My favorite mechanic Arnie and his crew. I love taking my car there because he knows what needs to be done and I never have to worry about stuff not being done. I drive there and one of his crew will drop me off back home. Arnie always does a courtesy call when the car is finished and if there is an issue with repair. And he does great inspections he gives a list of what they find wrong with the car

Never disappointed at this repair shop. Good and honest mechanics are hard to come by. My entire family uses this shop and everyone is completely satisfied every time. Great customer service. Polite staff. Honest repair shop.

This place has been in business forever. It is a small location however, it services many large trucks. The work is consistently excellent and the staff professional. This place is the worst, the took about a week to fix a ball joint then when I got my car back it started overheating then they wanted to charged me for fixing that. Run

This is the epitome of what a car service station is all about. The work is guaranteed, the work is rendered in a timely fashion (no matter what services needed), the workers are courteous and respectful, and the owner is approachable. Now stop the nonsense with the negative reviews!!!

I ve always went here to get my car inspected. Unfortunately they no longer do photo inspections. So sad cause they were really fast and on point. So save yourself the trouble when your looking to get your car inspected.

I have been going here for 5 years now and i have never had a bad experience. The shop owner is very knowledgeable and is honest! While labor can be costly due to unon shop, the work is done excellently and professionally!!

Great shop! I love it here because its soo convenient for me only a few streets down. Fair prices. What you tell to get done will be get done only. It's a first come first serve type of shop.

I had to replace a bracelet that I recieved as a gift. They were too helpful at the shop. I was able to replace it. Friendly family orientated.
