Van started to run to hot the fan relay failed. I called the nearest store and the person stated they have one left. Before I said another word he said let me check first to make sure I have it. After confirming they have it the part was sitting on table waiting for me. This is what I call customer service.. My mistake for not getting his name but I do appreciate you going above and beyond.

Excellent customer service, got the parts I needed and free tools to get the job done in two visits, -pickup parts, return tools. For the handy-Andy auto repair guy or gal, foreign and domestic parts in stock, all oils...order online, pickup in store avail.

Best manager !!! I forgot his name but he is the guy with beard. Very warm welcoming and very helpful to the customer. Definitely recommend this location.

I had known this location from when it was an R&S Strauss Auto 20+ years ago. The current Advance Auto Parts store at this location has always been relatively slow and understaffed.I recently visited this store to buy a Diehard AGM battery on sale after the old Liberty Ave location closed down. After I asked the sales associate about their free battery installation, I was told they couldn't, as only one person (himself) was working in that location. I change my own batteries but wouldn't have minded the free service. In addition, I wasn't even told about the mail-in-rebate promotion about the batteries.By contrast, Autozone always has several workers working in their stores, but their batteries suck lol.

Need two batteries, fuel stabilizer, bushings, pressure switches, dry gas. Was directed to aisle and bays of my searches. Signage and clear labeling made location very easy. Got all I needed in one 5 star stop.

Actually they are really good and helpful. The store manager, I forgot the name, prolly name by Harry, is an amazing person. Need fuel injector for my BMW but wasn't sure about the exact model, so he helped me to order both sets of injectors and later I just returned the one I didn't need to. Also, the parts was not available in his store but he order it from his other stores and made sure of next day delivery. Overall it was smooth and thanks to him. Amazing service.

I go there so often!! My favorite out of all the auto parts store since i found out its the lowest priced out of competitors. They offer the most coupons and the most rewards points that are basically free money back. If you download the app you can combine you coupons

9:30 a.m. visit. I came for a battery test. I had to wait a few minutes because a couple customers needed help with purchases but Carl took care of my service professionally and with excellent customer service. Great dude.

I'm always ordering things for my car ( it's a hobby of mine) sometimes I make returns and at this location in particular they do not process the return correctly. I recently returned two expensive items and the employee there scanned them as one expensive item and one cheaper item****UPDATE ********(let me be clear there were multiple items in my order Some cheap some expensive two expensive items is what I was trying to return The man at the desk instead returned one expensive item and gave the money back to my card and the other expensive item he did not scan properly instead he chose a cheaper item from the order# You can't tell because you're giving him too expensive items and he's scanning one as a cheaper item so you don't realize that the item number doesn't match until you leave the store get the confirmation and realize that the incorrect amount of money has been credited back to your bank card I made the order online So I didn't realize it until I got home and looked at the confirmation email.) ALSO WHERE EXACTLY DOES THE DIFFERENCE OF MONEY GO IF YOU TOOK BACK A CHEAPER ITEM FOR MY EXPENSIVE ITEM I'M SURE IT GOES RIGHT IN THE POCKET OF THE MAN. THIS LOCATION WILL NEVER GET ANY MORE OF MY MONEY AND BELIEVE ME I'VE BEEN A LONG TIME CUSTOMER AND I HAVE RECEIPTS AND ORDER CONFIRMATIONS TO PROVE IT (fyi The items are not similar they're not even the same thing), confirmation about my return Also when you place an order and you're ready to go into the store to pick up the products whatever they may be usually when I get there they haven't pulled anything that I've requested even though I've given them plenty of time I either have to go pull them myself or wait around for somebody to go get them from the back It's just bad customer service period. They wait for you to arrive and print out your order receipt which is inconvenient when you're in a rush.

Honestly, the reason why I came here to get help was because it was closer to my house and it was an emergency with my battery... idk the name of the salesman/cashier but he was extremely rude. I asked if I could get help with battery since its heavy... he didnt want to help and with an attitude said " so YOU want ME to do it?!" I didnt even bother, I just left. I did not have this issue in other branches... please chanve staff this is ridiculous.

I have be to Advance Auto Parts numerous times and each and every time I was assisted with quality customer service. If the parts I wanted was not in there stock they recommended other places they knew had what I needed. It s a great place for all you auto needs.

Arrived at the store 5 min to 9pm and the store was already closed. Dont say you close at a certain time and lock the doors before thae posted time

Ordered a battery for my 2004 Ford FREESTAR. Easy to order on the website.Thanks to some partnership they must have, I got free same day shipping. Self-install and car running same day. Recommended

I wouldn t recommend you to go there.I bought a jump starter few days ago. Unfortunately It didn t work. I went there to return it but they didn t take it back and the employee was very rude and had bad attitude. Wasn t helpful at all. Then I went to the one in floral park and returned it. They didn t even asked any question.

Johnson went above and beyond for me . Night and day from the experience I had at autozone 16020 union turnpikeI called in advance to see if they had any liquimoly 5w30 molygen. He tells me he knows he has but he needs to double check. Stellar start to his service. He tells me it s not molygen but it s the high tech 5w30 liquimoly and I m sold . I get there and tell him the filter and brake oil I need , he doesn t point me to it he goes and grabs it . Just more above and beyond service. Simple, easy, and how it should be .

I am a former AAP employee from this location. I'd like to start with the pros in working at this particular location... first, most of the staff is quite reasonable and friendly and are always willing to help customer's in any way they can that are within policy boundaries. Secondly, Store is also clean and well stocked for the most part.Now for the cons in my experience of working with this store. First off, most of the staff is not too knowledgeable in the automotive marketplace regarding basic knowledge on parts and how automotive systems work, such as engines, brakes, transmissions, etc. I felt as if I was one of two people in the store who had decent automotive knowledge and know how. This background helps tremendously in customer satisfaction. Secondly, the store manager, Sattie Jaikaran, displays and exhibits poor leadership. Her methods of delegating certain tasks and responsibilities is often rude and offensive. She often raises her voice at fellow colleagues, as well as customers when she grows frustrated. I often felt disrespected by her. Many colleagues often complained about her and often expressed disinterest in going to work because of sattie, including myself. I seem her actions as a tremendous lack of professionalism and poor leadership skills in the work place.

Guys, BEWARE customers get cursed out and called insulting names. The female Indian manger is the one who constantly does it, the older men are no help either, they are all unprofessional, I honestly don t know how they are still in business!

I am here right now. I m here to buy a Ford Fusion 2015 battery. The cashier BOB started to argue with me instead of explaining. And then he assumed me be Indian which I m not and made racial comment and walked out of me. This is the customer service they provide. The next cashier stepped in and help me out.

There customer service is worst. One day I showed a $5 reword coupon, the cashier refused to accept it and his behavior very rude. Then he offered me to $5 from his pocket. I answered him I'm not a begger accept the coupon, then he accepted that coupon.

Horrible service . Dont know what they re doing especially the manager which makes no sense at all. All have horrible attitudes. If you need your car fixed the last place you should be going too is here. So please dont waste your time or money !

If I could give this location zero stars,would not be low enough. Staff is unfriendly,rude,and obnoxious. Female worker speaks to customers like pigs! Constantly on her mobile phone,instead assisting customers. Refuse to spend another dime at Advanced Auto Parts!

Yes I agree, awful attitutw from some workers. Went there to return an item I bought at another store because I bought a different Item than what I was supposed to buy. So I bought the right item at this store which they had in stock and they did not want to take back the other item because it was bought at another store. Since the original store was far I decided to go to other location in jamaica ave and they took the item back without a problem. The young woman that refused to take the item back had a real bad attitude towards me and lost a customer that shopped there all the time because of that.

horrible service bought some tools online to pick up, I called 2 times to make sure when I get there they didnt have them. Then the guys make me wait for 30 mintues and dont tell me nothing until I ask and he says oo we dont have them. Are you serious what kinda customer service is this?!!!! I drove 30 mintues called before and still they cant get it right!

The Guyanese female manager verbally cursed at me, I was in disbelief because it was absolutely uncalled for, there was a huge curse out in front of customers. Completely unprofessional.
