George, Brandon and Mike, and Nick are the best men I couldn t appreciate them more!! I included all of them as they are a team and work like it! I couldn t have had a better experience support or work done on my car!! Thanks -amber also George is non stop like awesome he has done nothing but constantly work always doing something! He is a great worker he deserves a raise he just is dedicated and attentive and respectful to everyone!

Has been my go-to mechanic for years, but not after this experience. Poor communication, lack of attention to detail, and did not respect my time.Took my vehicle in at 1 PM for new tires, tire balance, wheel alignment, oil change, state inspection. Get a call a 345 PM asking where my wheel lock key is-I say the glove box (where else would it be?). One hour later I get a call that my vehicle is ready. I get in at 5 PM to pick up my vehicle and they failed to read the entire work order-they only put new tires on. To their credit, they got the oil change done before closing but I had to wait an additional hour while that was done. Not to mention, I had to return the next day for the state inspection and wheel alignment. When all was said and done, I got my vehicle back with the old inspection sticker curled on my dashboard and the dirty prints of the mechanic that was in and out of my glovebox for the wheel lock key all over my glove box. Seems like there has been some staff turnover, and not for the better. Unimpressed-they seem rushed, flustered, and understaffed.

Fast, clean work and location. Great customer service. Worked with Brandon, George, Charles. They were amazing, knowledgeable and super affordable. Will come back if I ever have car trouble.

I have previously had no issues with this place until recently. I ve purchased at least 4 sets of tires here for my vehicles in the past few years. My most recent purchase was 4 GY wrangler tires for my 2022 Tacoma, 10/23. After 5k miles I noticed some uneven wear on tires. Called and talked to Mike and explained my situation. He was very nice and invited me to bring it in that day and would check alignment for free even though it was over the 3k warranty. I drove down thinking it would get taken care of. Once there was told they wouldn t do it for free, like I was told by Mike. Also told me tires were overinflated, which they weren t, at least not by me. Dashboard reads 35psi since I got them. I declined service as I m not paying them to fix their mistakes. I will take it elsewhere to get a true alignment. I couldn t even be sure they did one in the first place, as there was no printout. Supposedly printer has been broken for months and still is.Edit: Israel the manager contacted me and vowed to make everything right and apologized for the inconvenience and service. He remembers from previous visit. Hopefully we get everything figured out.

I've been coming to Mavis for more than a few years (15+ at least). Always courteous. Always prompt. And always fair. They don't work to find problems you'll need to fix, but are great at legitimately finding real problems that do need fixing.

I've gotten many oil changes here on a variety of cars. They have always been professional and friendly. They are better staffed than most of the other oil change places near by. They have been able to take me as a walk-in on several occasions which has been a great relief on those occasions when I needed it.

Wish I could give zero stars. Completely out for the money. Not the customer. Wouldn't install my tires because I didn't buy it from them. Absolute scumbags. Not to mention they said they performed an alignment. To later find out that was never even done!! But I was charged! Con artists at their finest!

Every time I go to Mavis, my concerns about my car are completely taken care of! The staff are always so attentive to what I have to say and ask clarifying questions so that they are able to accurately respond to the problem. I feel confident in the work that they do and appreciate their thorough approach. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I got my tires changed in Cortland (it was $650 for four new tires, balancing my tires, the alignment, and a new sensor that I had to replace (they gave me a $96 for $15)), and then I retorqued my tires for free in Ithaca the next day. I started having problems with my brakes, and they told me to stop by any afternoon. They looked at it for free, showed to me what was wrong, and offered to get the parts locally and fix it all within the next hour. The technician was very courteous to me as a female ( I know how some shops can be with stereotypes ) and answered all of my questions in addition to giving me a $50 student discount. I grew up in a family of mechanics, and this has by far been one of the most courteous shops I have ever visited.

Incredible and extremely fast service. Needed my battery replaced fast and it was done within 15 minutes. Other places nearby said to drop it off and leave it overnight or a full day. Mavis is the best spot in town!

I had a positive experience here and would recommend to anyone with tire problems! I got a nail in my tire, went to another place first and was told that I need to change all four tires for over 1000 dollars. Came here and they fixed the tire for me for 30 bucks. Make sure to book an appointment and are on time, as they re pretty busy.

Service was very prompt and speedy. The young man who took care of me today understood my situation with my tire and did his best to get me in and out without breaking the bank! I've always been a fan of Mavis but service like this is what will keep me coming back!

Amazing experience at Mavis. They were quick to fix my tire that went flat in the same afternoon. Employees are super friendly and helpful. I had a small fishing hook in my tire and they finished patching the tire near closing. They started closing cashier and decided to comp me and fixed the tire without payment. Amazing service wow!

I felt genuinely cared for, receiving not only top-notch service but also reliable products that didn't break the bank.In another instance, I sought Mavis's expertise for my mom's car, which had a tire issue. Flat tire on a very cold day in Ithaca. I brought it to Mavis because they have the most consistent air pump in town (probably their best marketing!) I thought the tire might be recoverable but it wasn't holding air. Left the car in the capable hands of John and George. Before I found a way home they assessed the situation, checked the brakes and made me aware of them (i already had an appointment set up otherwise one stop shop for sure!).They were busy, but took their time.Good business, paid attention, fast, attentive, friendly what more?!

Mavis was very quick to point me in the right direction to get a rim when I was looking to replace my donut with a full size spare. Once the rim arrived, they had the new tire on within two hours. Was a bit pricier than I would have liked, but definitely worth the level of service and communication I received. Hopefully, I won't need any more tire replacements any time soon, but if I do I will definitely go back to Mavis.

I had some work done here in August and have had some brake troubles ever since. When George, the manager, found out about the problems I was going through he had me come right in and bent over backwards to make it right. Everything is fixed now and I am very pleased with how the situation ended up.

George was the best customer support agent I have dealt with in a very long time. He made sure that my needs met above my expectations. There have been a lot of people lately that do not care about their job but you can tell George is one that takes his work seriously. The speed and attention to detail made me wonder why he is not part of a nascar pit crew. If you ever visit this store be sure to ask for George, he will take care of you like a longtime friend.

Always go here for oil changes and swapping tires. Always very professional and swift. During regular maintenance they always do extra checks to make sure the car is working properly and let me know if there's anything wrong with my car. With them, I always feel safe on the road. Very happy :)

Mavis rocks! This is on a picture in their facility in Ithaca and it's true. Mavis has always gone above and beyond for us- fitting us in (often on short notice) and taking care of whatever issue we need addressed. We've had tires fixed, oil changes, and state inspections done here. The staff is always friendly, work is done in a timely manner and at a good price.

I would like to share the amazing service I got from Mavis tires in Ithaca today. The Manager, John assisted me when I walked in. I was told that they were backed up with a lot of work but that didn t stop John from helping me. Everything was done within 30 minutes and the service during my waiting was just phenomenal. A new staff member by the name of Chris were very friendly and making sure Im all sorted keeping me updated on the process while Brendan was patching my tire. This is my first time reviewing but definitely need to give credit where it s due!!! Thank you so much for making sure I m back on the road again!!!
