Had a wonderful experience working with Cameron. Bought a used car that wasn t one of their normal makes. He did a ton of research to make sure he knew the vehicle and was able to answer all of my questions. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Alex the Sales Manager was also very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Would recommend working with Maguire!

Best dealership i dealt with! Ive bought 4 cars from them last 5 years and i live over an hour away. They give the best deals in discount, mortgage rates and even trade in. Cameron my sales rep made everything easy! Definitely 5stars!!

EZ fielded my initial call and followed up with me thoughtfully. Brett handled the transaction, helping us to weather the innevitable surprises. Though such surprises are often out of the sales representative's control, the interactions remained pleasant and professional.My advice to anyone buying a car is to consider what you want, do your research, ask for documentation of any important fact, and ask questions about the paperwork before signing. Good sales reps like the ones I worked with tend to be patient and supportive, and I appreciate that.

Ezechukwu did great work in organizing everything for my appointment and was very informative and supportive in the process and Dillon did great work handling everything in my appointments included clear knowledge and explanations of all my options it was a really good experience from start to finish and beyond thanks to both of them for their dedicated work on everything !

Very bad service at the desk very rude. Was called during my oil change and recommended the air filter in my car get changed soon. When I got car back from the oil change it was miraculously broken. Over a $300 repair. I took it to Sayre Pa Where they fixed it for free. Will never be returning.

I recently bought a Subaru Forester from Alex at Maguire Ithaca. I never thought I would use the words great experience and car buying in the same sentence, but my car buying experience was truly great! Alex was helpful, patient, straightforward, and responsive. And a very kind person. I was fully prepared to have to haggle over the trade-in but I got the amount that I wanted, without any haggling. I fully recommend this dealership and Alex in particular!

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Maguire Subaru, and I feel compelled to share my negative encounter with others. Despite being promised that they would hold a car for us, they sold it to someone else without any prior communication or notification. This lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable.From the beginning, we were given assurances that the car we were interested in would be reserved for us until we were able to finalize the purchase. We trusted their word and refrained from exploring other options. However, prior to our appointed visit to the dealership to complete the transaction, we were shocked to discover that the car had been sold to another buyer.What made matters worse was the complete lack of communication from the dealership. We were not informed about the change in the car's availability or given the opportunity to negotiate or discuss alternatives. It felt as if our business was disregarded and our time was wasted. This level of unprofessionalism is simply inexcusable and reflects poorly on the dealership's integrity.As a potential buyer, it is crucial to feel valued and respected throughout the car purchasing process. Unfortunately, Maguire Subaru failed to meet these basic expectations. Their broken promises, lack of communication, and unprofessional behavior have left a lasting negative impression on me.I strongly advise against doing business with Maguire Subaru. Their actions demonstrate a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction, and I urge others to seek alternative dealerships that prioritize integrity, communication, and customer care.

I have brought my car here for the past 8 years since I bought it new. I never had any issues until now. They have recently raised their labor rates and they're the most expensive place in the area. I don't entirely fault them for that because it's expensive to operate in Ithaca but for $169 an hour I expect really good work. I came in to get my brake lines fixed because they were leaking. A month later my brake fluid tank was completely empty again and breaks weren't working properly. I took it to another shop and they discovered that Maguire did a very shoddy job. They left something loose and the leak had not been properly fixed. Oddly they also left a dirty rag wrapped around the brake line where it was continuing to leak. I immediately brought my car over to Maguire and they fixed the problem free of charge fortunately. I am definitely considering finding a new place to bring my car in the future especially now that my car is older and my warranties are over.

Maguire Subaru has been a delight to work with. I only had a day in town to take care of my kids car. They fit me in and not only did the service, but did an inspection the car needed and I didn't know about, cleaned the seats and went above and beyond expectations. If you are buying, get the McGuire service plan and if you have a kid like me, get the app holster y warranty. Brittany and Bryant are the best.

From the moment I arrived for my scheduled appointment I was treated with courtesy and respect. Langston Hopkins ,my service advisor was very understanding. He listened intently as I explained the issue with my Ascent. The issue was corrected by the service technician perfectly. The Maguire service team corrected a problem with my Subaru Ascent after another Subaru dealer told me there was no problem with the car. My experience with Maguire was well worth the drive. I will be using Maguire Subaru in Ithaca for all the necessary service for this vehicle.

I went to get get brakes fixed, and they called back with a long, mostly unnecessary, and pricey list of problems that needed to be fixed with my car. I approved replacements for brakes, but still had brake problems afterwards. I brought the car back a few months later and they said they needed to change the brakes despite the fact that I had just been in to have that done! I took my car to a different Subaru shop in Trumansburg and they quickly found and repaired a leak in the lines.

When I arrived for my car appointment there were plenty of parking spaces available. I was checked in quickly and given a description of what was to be done with my vehicle. I included a few additional items, such as having my car inspected and a problem with my radio. I waited at the dealership and was comfortable and enjoyed a snack. The work was done in a timely manner and when checking out I was given a clear description of what I was being billed for. The people working at Maguire s are very professional and helpful. Overall another very good experience.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Maguire Subaru. I was interested in buying a specific used car that was on their lot, and I spoke with a salesperson who assured me that they would hold the car for me until I could come in to finalize the purchase. I was in contact with the salesperson for over 2 weeks regarding this. I was excited about this, as I had been looking for this particular car for a while.However, when I went to the dealership to complete the purchase, I was informed that the car had been sold to someone else. I was shocked and disappointed, as I had been led to believe that the car was being held for me. I asked the salesperson why the car had been sold, and they said that they had received a higher offer from another buyer.I was very frustrated by this, as I felt that I had been misled. I had been promised that the car would be held for me, and I had not been given any warning that it was being sold to someone else. I felt like my business was not valued, and I was very disappointed with the way that I was treated. Also, they offered double interest rates for financing as compared to when I personally reached out to banks.I would not recommend Maguire Subaru to anyone.

I had a wonderful experience at Maguire Subaru of Ithaca. Troy was and fantastic from start to finish. He was informative and attentive in keeping me up to speed on the current deals as well as the arrival time for my vehicle. The sales manager Zach was polite and thoughtful. I was not pushed in to a vehicle that was not right for me. Zach was extremely respectful in where I wanted to be with price and work with me to find the vehicle that would fit those needs and a keep my budget in mind. I really appreciate that type of customer service- it is so hard to find these days. I am looking forward to working with Troy and Zach in the future. Phenomenal job!

I had a great experience at Maguire Subaru service. I was welcomed at the door and directed to the right place. Check in was simple. Jorden efficiently handled my appointment set up. Loaner was available and in great shape. I will definitely go back.

Overall I am glad Maguire is here and providing service to my Subaru. In order to improve service I would suggest the following: don t have a cabin air filter replacement at the 15,000 mile service (if it needs replacement before 60,000 then you need a better filter), I was very appreciative of a call from service in the morning to confirm what service I wanted but when I called the number back it was still going to voicemail saying the office was closed (leave a direct number that customers can reach you at when calling early), and lastly I had an 11:30 appointment for an oil change and tire rotation but me car was not ready until 3pm. It was not an issue this time as I did not need the car but 3 1/2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation means you took a long time for a quick service or you prioritized walk-ins or later appointments before mine. Just some suggestions to help improve service.

The service an Maguire Subaru was outstanding. Especially Alex, who went above and beyond even answering my questions on his day off! Not only his he extremely knowledgeable about Subaru's you can tell he's also passionate about them. He got me the best deal for my situation. I drove from Syracuse to Ithaca to make a deal on a new car. I was shopping alone and the staff and management was very respectful, helpful and fair with all aspects of this transaction. I feel I got a fiat price for my trade in and a great price for the new vehicle. I even walked away with dog toys for my pups. Can and Zach did a great job and on delivery any questions and concerns were addressed. I am pleased that I chose Maguire Subaru and would highly recommend the trip to Ithaca for anyone needing any of the brands carried in their store.

Brought our Ascent in for a factory recall, while they fixed the recall found that out air filters needed to be changed. Then charged $25 labor for each filter for 5 minutes of work! Pretty frustration to drive an hour for a recall on a new car and then being charged an absurd amount for labor.

This most recent appointment with Maguire Subaru was outstanding. From getting a prompt appointment, to the service I received at drop off, the clear and organized communication throughout the day, the offer of a courtesy vehicle due to an unanticipated overnight stay, coordination of getting parts and making the repair the next day, and the ease of the payment and pickup process, this was the best experience I have had with any Maguire dealership. Thank you!
