This is a long over due review. This marina is great. They installed my new motor. And on the first service they helped me get the boat out of the water! And then the following year got me right in for a service and got me right out! I don t think I was without the boat for more than a day! I had a small issue yesterday and I stopped by when they were closed and Mark helped diagnose an issue. Got right home and figured it out. Love this place and will keep using them for my services!

The weather was rainy that day and they did not agree to cancel our rental or postpone it. We paid the full price and returned the boat after about an hour completely soaked! (They also charged the entire amount upon reservation, instead of deposit only as promised.) A very disappointing service and behavior

Stayed in the area for a couple of days and wanted to have some fun on the lake. Came across this place, and when I saw the rates for boat rental, I jumped on the chance. We rented a pantoon and had a great time. The staff is very nice and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

Wow what great service. Went in looking for some epoxy resin. The guys couldn't have been more helpful. Helped me figure out exactly was was needed, how to use the products, even best techniques and tips for making the repairs I needed.By the way the store is now at 435 Taughannock Blvd. , not on Willow.

This is a well stocked store for all items boat related. The retail side staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They also provide maintenance and repair services by skilled craftsmen who are "straight shooters" when it comes to what your water craft requires or not. They service wood & fiberglass boats, sailing or power at what you would expect to pay for quality service of this nature.

Now I'm very disappointed with these folks. Went in to buy a couple of sailboat blocks, nothing appropriate in stock but they kindly offered to order me a couple. But they didn't. And they didn't call me to tell me they didn't. All they did for me was absolutely nothing at all. "Would you like us to go ahead and order some for you now?" NOPE!

Finger Lakes has a little bit of everything you need for boating including Hardware, paint, fishing gear, bait and all sorts of other stuff. Not to mention the staff who are outstanding and knowledgeable especially for someone like me who has an antique wooden boat. Oh and they rent pontoon boats awesome way to see the lake

Service was helpful and quick to answer my questions. I now have a good Suzuki dealer to do any work. Very good people!

rented a slip for the summer 2013. Took the boat to the slip on the 4th of July weekend and found another boat in the slip. I assumed it was a transient and tried to contact the marina. They weren't working that day. Had to take the boat out of the water and back to dry storage. I contacted the marina who acted equally surprised. I continued to assume a transient until I went down to the marina and discovered they rented the slip to another boat owner. Their explanation was that the slip was open and they decided to use it. I understand they did move the boat afterwards. I asked for my money back and they refused. There was no compromise. This puts me in a difficult position. When I choose to use the boat, the marina may decide to use my slip without my knowledge. Without transient slips in the area I would be unable to find a slip. Not tenable.

Have had a lot of trouble with this place. They do OK work, it's well executed and done in a reasonable time frame, BUT communication is horrible. They hauled my boat out in September and moved it to their offsite storage facility which is...I know not where. There was nothing sent out to owners informing them of the current storage situation and where boats might be stored for the winter. There offsite location keeps changing, first it was in Newfield, then it was near IBC, now...? Wouldn't recommend dealing with this place unless you're OK not knowing where your boat is.

I purchased a boat that was in their care. They added charges and damaged some of my equipment. They were not open to negotiation.

I rented a pontoon boat for the day on the 4th of July. They whole process was super easy, the boat seemed brand new, and everyone was really nice. I would recommend renting from finger lakes boating and would do it again.
