Awesome service. They had my synthetic oil on hand which can sometimes be difficult to come by. I normally go to another place nearby (who always has to order my oil first) and my oil change was done in minutes and cost me less than it would have had I gone to my old standby. Sorry, Old Standby - I'm breaking up with you. Thank you, Bruce's Pit Stop!

In and out in 5 min. Every. Single. Time. $45. And I am a mechanic who can easily do his own changes. But for this price and that fast? So I can save $20? Nah. Just take it to Bruce.

Changed the oil quickly, but we agreed verbally on an approximately $70 oil change, and came later to find they had done a bunch of things I didn't ask for and didn't agree to. They charged me $55 more for things like filling up the windshield wiper fluid and (not actually) vacuuming the car. Very scummy business practice.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Friendly, fast service. It's the kind of place you return to. I am! I can tell the team enjoys working together, and working on cars, and helping people. Honest place that does good work. They don't just do oil changes! I got new tires too.

Incredible service. Kenneth spent time with our vehicle diagnosing a problem. Talked us through everything step by step. Sent us safely on our way when it became clear we needed more serious work on our vehicle. Really helped out some weary travelers. I had my car in recently for its first auto detail cleaning. Vince did an excellent job in cleaning and waxing the car. It almost looks new (well it did until I had to drive in the rain right after it was done!) He does the work by appointment only, so do call ahead.

Quick and very friendly. I ve been bringing my cars here for over 10 year. And never had an issue with there service. I would recommend them to anyone who s looking to get a oil change. They definitely live up to their name Pit Stop.

This place is legit. I m not local, I was driving through the area when I realized my need for an oil change. I called them up asking if they could fit me in that day and they said no problem. I showed up, they explained the different types of changes and their prices, with no pressure to choose any particular one. I made my selection and they got started right away. They asked if I d like to change my air filter as well and brought out the old one to show how to tell it s time for a new one but again with no pressure to make an additional purchase. I agreed. Loved the atmosphere, very straight forward but somehow just as friendly and inviting. I see why rumor is that this is the best oil change in the area. They checked/topped off my fluids and managed the air pressure in my tires too, free of charge. Would absolutely stop in again if I m in the area and would just as earnestly recommend the place to a friend. 5 star service.

I just came in for a new air filter and instead of sending me away, because they didn't have the right model in stock, they went over to Autozone to get it for me and install it. These guys are super nice, professional, and go above and beyond for their customers. Been coming here a few years and highly recommend.

My tire went flat all of a sudden, and only Bruce would see me immediately. They even found a tire that fit and replaced it on the spot. Total lifesaver!

Left my car there over the weekend for them to work on because I work 3rd shift. They left my suv unlocked and someone went through it and stole everything over 300 bucks worth of sunglasses and my bag of quarters for my laundry. When I picked it up they didn t have my oil sticker in the window so who knows if the work ever even got done. Needless to say I will never go back Services: Tires, Oil change

Courteous, professional, efficient and accomodating. I asked for an oil change and a 'check up'. I was going to be traveling, and didn't want a problem in the middle of nowhere. Bill and his crew checked hoses, filters, connections, structure etc. I commend their ethics, they DID NOT pressure me into anything unnecessary.

Quick and reasonable drive through oil change. No upselling, just what you need and a little extra. Locally owned. Not exactly polished tho, lol.

Personal service. Courteous, professional. Small shop that offers a lot! My car gets regular oil changes there. They check air in tires for me add air at no charge b/c I am a regular customer. I plan to buy my next set of all-weather tires there.

Was charged for oil change that didn't happen. Wanted 10 minutes before the car was brought into the bay, walk over to look and no one was working on it. Sat down and 3 minutes later they told me it was done. I ask if it was done already.? Yes they said. Are you sure ? Yes . Hadn't had my car for 2months. I've reset the the oil light twice ,and its reading 15% oil life .what I thought happened actually did happen , by accident or on purpose . Don't know. Make sure you get what you pay for . I'll never go there again !Service: Oil change

If I could give more stars I would! I arrived at 8am, and Bill changed my oil AND filled my tires up in 10 minutes! Great service, great price. Will definitely be back.

Bruce's Pit Stop is a small place off the highway that mostly does oil changes and regular maintenance. We got a good price on tires from them, with complimentary installation. I was in and out in an hour and am happy with the services I received.

Their oil change service is fast, I grant you, but you need to pay attention and make sure their quality control is on point.The last time I got an oil change there, they left a dirty rag in my engine compartment (fire hazard) and neglected to fill the washer fluid.I also brought the car in to have a tire patched and they told me they couldn't find a leak. I didn't just imagine getting two flats in two days so I told them to look harder. Finally after almost an hour, they found a nail in the tire and patched it.

I was waiting at the Monro next door for 2 hours. I walked over to Bruce s and got my oil change done in 5 minutes. Good guys, good conversation, good work on my car.

Good, quick, efficient service! They re great not just for oil change but also for other quick repairs. In contrast to some other repair shops in ithaca, they are actually good people.
