7 Days ago , I CALLED FOR A ALIGNMENT. AND THAT GUY SAID $125.00 for 2 wheel ( ALIGNMENTS ALWAYS A 4 WHEEL) THAN THEY CHARGED ME $150.00 I WONT RECOMMEND THEM . I TOOK MY OTHER CAR TO MECHANIC IN BAY SHORE. THEY CHARGED ME 4 WHELL ALIGNMENT $85.00. BE CAREFUL. GUS AUTO. LIKE TO KILL HEN. THEY SHOULD EAT EGGS

Everybody needs a car guy - John and the team at Gus is mine, 100%. Super knowledgeable, good people, great technicians, efficient and not up to waste anyone's time or money. The concern of being scammed or taken advantage of is an unfortunate reality, it's places like this that give you a little peace. I went to Gus s for a wheel alignment. I was given an estimate of $100-$150 depending upon how much time it took. I made an appointment and had it done. When he called me to pick up the truck he told me the price is now $260 which is almost double the original estimate.( I didn t need any additional work or parts) I will say this, I have no problem paying the $260, the problem that I have is that I feel I was taken advantage of. If he originally gave me an estimate of $260 I would of still booked it and had it done. For me it was all about how it was handled. I know it s an estimate but it should be somewhat close. I was told the price was higher because he had to adjust the upper control arms, which is part of a wheel alignment. Anyway because of this I will never use this shop again and they lost me as a customer. I would never be able to trust an estimate from them again. I will say this they were very nice and got my truck in right away which I appreciate it. The truck drives perfect and I have no complaints about the work they did. My biggest complaint is with their business practice and estimates.

Best spot on the island for an alignment. Brought my Jeep there and he went above an beyond making sure it was fixed right and fixed to my expectations. He was over the top happy and easy to deal with and prices were very fair. Highly recommended

One of the best experiences going to a Shop for Work on my vehicle . Everyone there was Very kind and professional. All the work on the vehicle was done correctly as well as explained to me in the way that it all made sense and I wasn't getting ripped off. They treat you there like family and friends instead of clients and Profits. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you guys!

For a wheel alignment place I would have expected better...the only thing they adjust is the Toe. They didn t even touch my caster or camber. Honestly a big rip off considering the price. Especially if you have a newer vehicle with an electronic steering rack you better just steer clear of this place.

Great work on my 1989 Mustang. Spent a lot of time fine tuning the alignment after we had swapped the K member, A Arms and caster camber plates. They made sure everything was completely perfect.

Trustworthy shop. They don't look for additional things to charge you for. They're honest with the estimates and the work. This was my local shop while I lived in the area, and since moving I will happily go out of my way to get my car serviced there.

These guys are the BEST. I've always had bad luck with auto mechanics. Getting something fixed, then something related to that breaks. My truck was a difficult case. Lifted Jeep that sustained some suspension damage while offroad. I fixed what I could and then brought it to Mavis for the inevitable alignment. They returned it to me at the end of the day and said they were not able to get it aligned. So I brought it to John over at Gus' Wheel Alignment. Had it back within an hour, at a lower charge than Mavis, and my truck drives silky smooth. In a world where quality of service is suffering, Gus' has remained committed.
