About the best I've ever dealt with in my eighty years. Excellent mechanic, great personality and just all around nice guy. Did all my own work until my sixties so i know a little about cars. Nice to deal with someone I trust.

Gregs auto is the only place we bring our vehicles to, even after we moved further away. He is honest, fast, has fair prices and always delivers quality work. My mother was visiting from out of state and on the way down her car broke down. She was able to do a quick temporary fix and limped it to my house. Greg fit it into his schedule, figured out the problem, ordered the part and fixed her car within the weekend that she was visiting so she could safely drive back to VT.

Never thought to check Gregs reviews but I just stummbled upon them. If your looking for an owner opperated repair shop to service your vehicle this is definitely the one. Extremely fair, knowledgable and willing to help in all Aspects of getting you vehicle repaired. Overall best place around highly recommend.

We have used Gregs Auto for Our Co. Trucks & Personal CarsGreg has worked on 12+ vehicles for us over 4 yrs. I have found Greg Auto Service Professional,Fair Priced with Integrity. Greg is a Stand up guy and actually works on your caror truck and has been extremely fair and through when explainingissues and problems from an automotive standpoint.I actually would give him 10 stars !!He is that Good , Could notbe happier. btw we found him after getting a very high price fromthe dealer to fix a 6 year old truck and then went to a friends shopand then someone recommend Greg Auto. The Dealer price was$1,900.....the Other shop on the same street in Islip was $1,200and Greg did it for $450.00 without me haggling over prices. Hewon our business from then on, just think how much money we have been saving!!! Within last 4 years we spent over 10k with Gregas he has earned our business with over 12 vehicles in our Fleet**********

UNLESS YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. We took 2 cars here. First car was having issues with gas pedal & would stall from time to time. Greg fixed an alternate issue costing almost $500 told me the car was okay to drive... First day I got it back it stalled in an intersection and I almost got into an accident. Second car went in for a "tune up" and when they changed gas filter.. punctured a hole in gas tank, causing car to die, gas to leak had to call fire department because I almost blew up! He was also supposed to change coolant and it never was replaced Wonder if anything at all was done! TERRIBLE PLACE TERRIBLE WORK

Very nice shop, the owner is fair and does a good job.. There are no surprises when it comes to repairs.. An honest diagnosis is made and then you can make a decision on whether to have it repaured.
