Very unprofessional, one of the staff (taller gentleman with his hair pulled into a low pony stocking parts) has some sort of radio show on LOUD walking around the store, not asking people if they need help finding anything etc. Lines are ridiculous, I've been waiting 30 min to ask someone to help me look at a battery for my car. Definitely wont be coming here againAnd it seems that the owner only responds to positive reviews and does not address any of the problems in the store.

Always a long wait to either get parts or just pay for something small like a headlight bulb or air freshener. That's the place in Central Islip anyways.

Great service, usually stocked with what you need, but very busy so wait times will be long when waiting on line

When they have a bunch of people working there and there's one girl at the counter who is doing everything it's a little frustrating. Especially when there's two kids in the back fooling around who should be working. If they work for me they'd be looking for a new job no doubt

2 people on line, 5 employees behind the counter, and I was waiting for an easy 10 minutes. I was then helped by an employee that it was obvious that she was doing me a great favor by helping me out. So I gave a generous 2 stars because they simply had the part I needed, otherwise I would have rated 1 star because that is the minimum you can rate on here.

It was a rainy day, there was no way on earth I was able to get home if I didn t change my windshield wipers. It was a big safety hazard. Literally I could have died or killed someone if they weren t changed so I went to the store and Eric the Store Manager helped me change them. I am so thankful for him!!

My husband and I walked into the store and was help by a new associate, who over looked the part that we were looking for our car. Anthony a senior associate took the initiative and extra step to double check to see if part was actually out of stock and it wasn t. He returned back in 5 mins with the part. Anthony saved my husband and I an hour ride each way to the Jackson Heights location. In my opinion Auto Zone needs more associates like Anthony who take the extra step to uphold Auto Zones level of quality service.

Me and another customer get online to pay and the cashiers walked away. Finally one young lady asked if were just paying . What did it matter. Were we just gonna stand there till some cared to help? This place needs self check out, the workers are useless.

The staff was very courteous and professional. Even though they didn't have a particular part that I needed at their store, they diligently searched the database for other stores in the nearby area until they found it! Once the staff confirmed the availability of the part by phone to the store that had the part, all I had to do was drive to that store and pick it up since i paid at the initial store. Just outstanding!!

By no means is this the fault of the employee I dealt with however there is clearly a disconnect between online advertising to what you get in the store. I went in for a battery that showed and still shows "IN STOCK" for $139.99 however they state they don't have it but!... lucky me! they have one type that cost $159.99 of course. It's not about $20.00... I can care less about that however there seems to be an issue in general lately where its borderline bait and switch. If you don't have it, don't advertise it! Yes, I had an option not to buy however i'm not going to travel all around Long Island for a battery and waste gas. I doubt I will be returning to Auto Zone barring a warranty issue again. This is principal... something missing from many business practices as of late

I shopped at this establishment many months ago and was treated very well. The reception was A+. One of the store representatives took the time out diagnosing what was causing a highlight problem on my dears vehicle. He identified and fixed the problem. Very pleased with the excellent attention towards customer service. Keep up the good work.

I have a had multiple bad experiences here, i always get little to no help, they've set me up to buy the wrong pieces, and this spot specifically most of the employees are women who don't speak English, go to the 1 in Brentwood or bayshore way better service.

I just recently called this location to get a free diagnostic test done for my car. At the time I was told I would be able to get it done but of course with covid going on there would be some precautions I would have to take. Once I went to this location and spoke with a lady at the front I was told the complete opposite. Before I could get the word "diagnostic test " out of my mouth she stated they didn't do it for the check engine light if it was on(which it wasn't). Then once I was able to get a word in and show her the picture of my problem, before I could explain she gave me another excuse as to why it couldn't be done. This was a complete waste of my time and not to mention not such good customer service. Definitely won't be back!

I give them one star because when I walked in there was a line of people waiting to be served. There was four employees in the store three with gray shirts (I think they are managers) one with a red shirt. The guy with the red shirt was the only one working while the other three just stood around doing nothing finally one of the gray shirts asked if anyone was just there to pay cash one person was just there to pay for something the manager took that person and went back to doing nothing finally another red shirt person came in one of the manager told him to clock in right away to help out with the line (I think the managers should have jumped in to help the customers instead of standing around doing nothing)

So I went in to store I needed to have someone help check my trucks check engine light I walked in there was a very long line and 3 people behind the register.. I have never been there before so I did not know what to do!! I stood there to see if someone would acknowledge me and I would find out what to do.. All 3 of the people behind the register looked at me.. but never said anything .. meanwhile people are coming in and the line is getting longer.. almost 10 minutes standing and I finally ask how do I get my check engine light checked.. it was at that time I was sent to the end of the long line. Still only one guy taking customers the other guy and girl where just behind the counter.. over 20 minutes on the line I get to the register and the kid comes outside checks my truck.. he tells me the part I need. I purchased it and when he hands me the box there is writing all over it someone s phone number .. I ask him is this part used? He said I don t know? I left the store and a couple days later my husband put part in and check engine light still has not gone out.. I drove it for few hundred miles to see if it would go out and finally took it somewhere else to get the light checked again.. and same part is coming up!! Sorry to leave a long message and not a food one .. but extremely frustrated!!

Good store with great helpful employees. Organized and clean. Almostseems like the store runs itself. It's directly behind the railroad tracks which can make it a hassle to get into the parking lot since this is a fairly congested location.

How does a product says in stock and the workers are lazy to even look it up and to see if they have it !! But instead just tell me the system is wrong! This is why I choose advance auto parts to shop.

This place is okay because it feels like you can't get in and out most of the times. They need a better dynamic with the computarized system they use, seems like they need a system that allows search for parts but at the same time make a sale using the same computer.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I have the worst service this time. We buy with my husband two gallons of motor oil. My husband knows about this. When we were making the oil change we noticed that the oil was different more liquid and clear. I'll check the bottle and what I find out? It was oil that has expired since June. We called the store to return this oil although this meant to take it out of the vehicle again. and we are attended by the manager KEVIN, he tells us that if we want another oil we must pay for it, that he will not make the change, because the oil does not expire. When we ask him if the oil does not expire because the gallons have expiration date? It tells us: I DONT KNOW!! Wow what kind of employees work in this store? It is my vehicle if the engine melts, they are going to respond for the poor quality of the products they are selling. ALL PEOPLE PLEASE KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN IN THIS STORE.

I visited Autozone many times and I have seen different people working everytime. And honestly I haven't seen them knowing how to work the system and help customers correctly. A couple of times the employees have been arguing and that looks very unprofessional. There is a long wait to pay because they're not trained properly.

Friendly staff. The wait was a bit long due to an oddly busy day. The employee who helped me is very nice and helpful. Will visit again

5 people working in a slow store. One manager and employee listening to a customer tell his story how his car broke down, both just standing there at two different registers. 4 people waiting on line for at least 5 minutes until someone says, "IS ANYONE TAKING CUSTOMERS?." The red shirt starts ringing up customers, the manager, is just gabbing with the customer. The line is taking forever and the other employees are just socializing in the store. Finally, someone puts there packages down and leaves and tells one of the clerks, Bladimir, that they should pay attention to the customers and goes to leave. He states,"go ahead." I would have left but I waited too long. Pretty awful.

Terrible experience. Manager doesn't know what she's doing. They got rid of the book for the oil filter so you have to wait on line just to figure out the oil filter for your car.
