Cannot recommend Maher's Auto Repair enough!I took my 2015 convertible in because I was having some electrical issues with the car and another place had quoted me at over 10k to fix the problems I had been having. Maher's auto was very honest with me and advised that I sell this car for parts and get a new one. Since they are partnered with Carvana it was a very easy process. They have a lot of connections around the area and set everything up. Someone came and picked up the car, I was able to put a decent amount of money towards my new car. The car was at the shop for me the next week with everything inspected and ready to go.They are very thorough and knowledgeable. Also very honest people. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else!

I brought my Chevy Cruze here which they are notorious for being unreliable vehicles and Maher s was able to honestly tell me what I NEEDED vs what could wait so that I wasn t spending more than I could. I m normally uncomfortable at mechanic shops feeling that I could be taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge but these guys will explain everything in full detail in a way you can understand. They ve done countless services for me and I always feel welcomed. 10/10 recommend if you re looking for honest ,reliable ,affordable and quality work.

I brought my vehicle in to have a very specific procedure done that isn't readily available at every shop. They new exactly what I was looking to do, had all of the necessary tools and parts ready when I dropped off my vehicle, and got it back to me the same day at a very reasonable price. These guys know their stuff! I'll recommend them to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and fair repair shop.

I have brought my cars to these guys for years now and I must say that they have to be the best in the business. It is a family owned and operated business. Their father, Marty, is extremely experienced in the field and has passed down knowledge to Martin and Vinny. They have multiple certifications and accolades when it comes to auto repair. These guys are very upfront with you and will tell you the truth when it comes to the job compared to other automotive repair shops that will lie to make a few bucks. They've worked on my carbureted '83 Mustang GT, all the way up to my new model Jeep Renegade. The best part about this shop is that it doesn't just stop at strict auto repair. These guys do body work, extreme fabrication and welding. They can literally do anything to a car... even swap a 5.9 Cummins into a Jeep Wrangler (Ha-ha). Always been happy with the work they've done for me and they've always treated me right. They're very honest people and aren't in the business to screw people over.

I'm usually wary of repair shops especially as a young woman with no mechanical knowledge, I usually leave mechanic shops in tears and debt but this place made me feel genuinely respected and like a valued customer. They really took the time to explain everything to me and I left feeling like I had a little more knowledge about what to look and listen for in the future.I went in to get my 2023 car looked at because it needed an oil change but was also making a strange noise that sounded like it was coming from under my seat. I had gone to two mechanic shops before this one. One tried to tell me I was using the wrong kind of oil and the other told me nothing was wrong and I may have been driving on a bumpy road!The owners of the shop asked lot of follow up questions, took the car for a test drive, and found the issue right away. They sat down with me and explained what each part does and why it's important and why my car was making the noise. Had my car in and out of there in less than two days. You can tell they honestly care about not only their customers but getting the job done right in a timely manner. I will be a repeat customer!

We found this shop because we had purchased a car from Carvana and they were a preferred shop to go to. They looked over the vehicle and there was fluid leaking all over and a lot of corrosion. They saved us from a lot of aggravation and a lot of money. They are Extremely honest.We will be coming here for now on.Definitely extremely trustworthy .

I have had several repairs performed by Mahers and I have never met such honest guys. I had noise coming from my brakes and was certain that I needed new brakes and gave the OK to proceed.. I received a call later in the day telling me that it was a squeal caused by a broken sway bar link and turned out to be a very inexpensive repair. These guys are the best! Thank you!!

My mother in law brought her Prius there to look at a no start situation and missing a catalytic converter that got stolen and cut out, and snipped the o2 sensors. So check engine light was on.I spoke with someone at the shop who told me they haven t put the car on the lift yet, but will be doing so later on and will inform me on what needs to be done before they do it.I have mechanical experience so I asked what his idea what the problem was, he told me that the o2 sensor wires touched causing a fuse to break in the ECM and that s why there was no start. Hearing this and knowing that those sensors for one at most gets 1v and two when the engine lights on the car goes into a open loop meaning those 02 sensor wires are powered off, along with other sensors. Hearing this I knew the shop is either inexperienced, or trying to get one over on a old lady so I asked not to have any work done, it was to be picked up later the day I was told that nothing would be done to the car knowing that there are shady people in this field I then called my mother in law and asked her to tell the owner the same, no work done on the car it s getting picked up later by tow she was also told nothing would be done to the car.Few hours later my mother in law gets a call saying that they fixed it and it s going to cost $200. They told her that the wires touched and it causes the fuse to pop for the ecm ($1 fuse at most when bought in bulk at shops)I then call the shop and start to call them out explaining how the sensors aren t powered for one, two we said no repairs, three the fuse cost shouldn t reflect $200 after calling them out I was told no cost to get the carI would stay away from this shop because when I first thought they were inexperienced it turns out they take advantage of old womanStay. Away.

I purchased a truck through Carvana and it had some immediate warrantee issues. Maher Auto is one of Carvana's authorized warrantee shops...I've never had a better experience with a repair shop! They took care of everything on the truck and I now bring all my cars to them for service...I highly recommend them!

Not only are they shady but they are blatantly now confirming there little knowledge, I have to make the separate post on another post that I made because instead of taking the post down, I figured to make a separate post. I looked up the Prius on all data a program for mechanic shops. You re right it does not provide one volt at max. For that particular Prius the voltage on the o2 sensor ranges from 0.2-0.8Vs not one, even less.Still does not change the fact that when the check engine light is on there is no power going to the O2 sensor so it doesn t matter if it had 100 V or less than one volt at the time it was bought to that shop it was getting 0 V so there s no way it could pop that fuse.When I called, they told me that they had gotten the car late the night before and didn t have a chance to look at it yet when I spoke to someone over at the shop, they told me that they were going to put on the Lyft after hearing how an inexperience they were, I told him not to, and they proceeded to do it anyway, and try and take advantage of somebody. if two people call and say don t work on a car and then you do work. Anyway, how do you think that makes you look to the rest of the public?I never gave an attitude in fact, when I started questioning if the O2 sensors aren t getting power how can it pop refuse? I began to get one worded answers to my questions as I continued to show them how they were wrong, and explain to them that s when I was told to just come and get the car not because of an attitude but because they were being called out Not only are the inexperienced and posting that they are wrong on Google reviews about something as simple as voltage going to an O2 sensor and not knowing that the O2 sensor isn t being powered when the car isn t open loop because of a check engine light would stay away from the shop

They are amazing in every way!!!! I would not let anyone else touch our cars except them. They are honest and reliable! We have brought several of our vehicles there and they always do what's rightThank you guys

This place is the worst bad cust svc. They take advantage of ppl who don't know anything especially the elderly. Idk what kind of people raised these guys but hopefully, the next time people look you up they will see these posts. You guys are so wrong and then on top of this as soon as my bro posts a real review you guys take the time to post 5 fake 5-star reviews what a shame. But you can't write reviews for the better business bureau. AND THAT'S MY NEXT STOP good luck guys with your scamming this is 2024. There isn't one person who gonna sit back and take it.

Went to Maher's for what I thought was a major repair. Turned out to be minor. Could have been told otherwise .. could have been told that it was an expensive repair they were honest with me..also they are friendly and professional. I have referred others to them.

My car refused to reverse and I was not sure where to go and I was directed to this lovely mechanic shop, and when I say lovely I truly mean that. The workers at this establishment explained everything going on with my car (in baby terms) so that I could fully understand what was happening. They also returned my car in a quick and timely manner! I will definitely be going back to them. Thank you very much !

I recommend them to everyone I know who needs car repair. These are the most sweetest and coolest guys I ve ever met including their dad whom I had the pleasure to chat with. We pulled into Maher s motors when our car was making an odd noise and we found shards of metal upon opening the hood. Understandably nervous, we arrived with our newborn and almost 3 year-old in the car. They looked at the car immediately, as soon as we pulled up, and were so kind to the situation. They ordered the part needed, got there in less than thirty minutes, and took care of the car right away. They let my older son into the office for AC and pretzels, and let him use the bathroom. They did not price gauge us at all, and their kindness put us at so much ease. We were out within an hour, which seemed a miracle having seen metal shards about.Thank you so much to the team at Maher s for taking care of our family, and our car. I wish we lived closer, but anytime we are out East, I wouldn t go anywhere else.
