I hate writing bad reviews, but these people severely damaged my car and have been nothing but combative and defensive when contacted. They will not pay for the damages they have caused, and I don't know what else to do.My windshield was damaged when Con Edison was doing work on my neighborhood street. My insurance company called Clear Vision glass to set up a time for them to come out and fix my windshield.Clear Vision cancelled the first time because they didn't have the windshield in time, and the second time because of the weather. At this point, I had missed two days of work sitting at home waiting for Clear Vision, so I had to leave my car unlocked and let them work on it while I was at work the third day. When I came home from work I saw that they had forgotten to ATTACH MY REAR VIEW MIRROR! It was just hanging by a wire. In addition, they damaged the headliner on my car. There is now a loose jagged edge of fabric and a half inch gap between the ceiling lining and the windshield. I have been advised if I don't fix it soon, my car ceiling cover will start to sag.I called back and spoke with a man who was very defensive and said he would try to get someone out there as soon as possible, but there was "no way it was the technicians fault". (How could forgetting to attach a rear view mirror not be your technicians fault?) So now I have to miss a third day of work because my car cannot be driven this way. I then called my insurance company to complain, and they got an even ruder woman from Clear Vision on the phone who was also defensive and annoyed. I told them my car was undriveable and they would need to send someone out that day. They actually did send someone, but he had no clue what he was talking about. He tried to convince me that the mirror was left dangling in my car because of poor factory work on the windshield and that it was normal to have a ragged piece of cloth between your windshield and the headliner and that anyone who said different was a liar. Then he broke my windshield. That's right, he BROKE THE WINDSHIELD they had just replaced the day before. He attached the mirror, insulted my intelligence and then re broke my windshield. So now I am right back where I started with a broken windshield, but now the interior of my car is damaged as well.I have told my insurance company these people cannot come near me or my car again, and I am scheduled for a repair this weekend with a more reputable company. These people not only damaged my car, but they have refused to take any responsibility for it (even when a mechanic and insurance adjuster have concluded that they did damage the headliner of the car). Please do yourself a favor and call anyone else. These people do poor work, and they do not stand behind the work that they do.
