Rich took great care of me on a very short notice. i was able to get my car back within 4 days because Rich made me a priority. I was shocked by the results but what I was most impressed by was that my car was fully detailed!!!!!! My son was involved in an accident, the ultimate fender bender. We decided to do business with Rich Conte after visiting four places, talking to other drivers including family members and after reviewing his reviews online. Rich Conte of Collision Specialists of Inwood, Inc. provides great customer service, excellent expertise on the field at a very competitive prices. We were given an estimate, told when to drop and pick up our car with no drama and no hassle whatsoever! Also, we were not asked to put a downpayment for the car before even starting to do any work as another collision company asked us to do. The most remarkable thing is that our car looks better than before. Also, it was detailed clean as part of their service. This is a family business that provides great customer service at competitive prices in a field that is plagued with so many unscrupulous people. It is remarkable the type of work that Rich Conte and his sons do in our Inwood community.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Called for a CARCO inspection friendly over the phone told me to come right in no appointment necessary(huge plus) did inspection in no time!!Friendly and knowledgeable staff!!Gave me one of those plastic sleeves to put all my car documents in.10/10 highly recommended!!!

This shop is amazing, they picked up my vehicle that was not drivable from all the way up in CT and repaired and delivered my car to my home in better shape than it was prior to the accident and that included the interior as well. I could not recommend this shop more highly. So if you have the misfortune of having an accident, call them before you even call your insurance and they will guide you through the whole process to make it painless and get the best repair possible!Service: Body & Trim

Don't go to this place for getting state inspection, they will give you a paper that you are failed with inspection and just charge you

I had an accident one morning two weeks ago and I was distraught. I called this business because I was given their number on a prior visit. Richie advised me to bring the vehicle to the shop. While I was there he provided me a private place to call my insurance. He explained the entire process letting me know what to expect. He told me the vehicle was going to take two weeks to be fully repaired and restored. Richie was instrumental in getting me a discounted rental to use until my vehicle was ready. As specified the vehicle was completed in two weeks. The job done on the car was exceptional. The car was restored to manufacturer standard. When I pick up the car there was a nice little purse with little personal effects to help keep me safe from COVID. Before 2 months ago I had never been in an accident and when an older gentleman hit the front drivers side and tire of my car i kinda freaked. But luckily my mother recommended this place and the same day they came and picked up my car! And today I finally got it back ! The person I spoke with on the phone had said that I might have a few dings and stuff so I prepared for the worst but to my surprise I came out to a car I barely recognized not only did they fix the damage from the accident but they also fixed the rust spots as well as small dents on the inside of the door and they detailed the inside of the car as well!!! I can t even begin to say how much I appreciate them for their work they went above and beyond! I recommend everyone to go to them you will not be disappointed!

These guys are great. This family run business with father and sons working together should tell you the quality of people you are working with.The whole experience was easy. They set you up with a rental vehicle and fix your car perfectly.Would recommend to any family, friend or colleague.

Rich and his crew were absolutely amazing and attentive. Their attention to detail is something you can t beat. I was rear ended really bad. Rich handled everything from the rental to even dropping my car back at my home. Superb service. I would 100% recommend !

Especially for anyone in the Five Towns/Far Rockaway area, I have to share a great auto body recommendation I have based on my own experience. Unfortunately I got into an accident and had major damage to my bumper and some of the internal pieces behind it.Several people highly recommended Rich Conte from Collision Specialists of Inwood so I brought my car there right after the accident. He explained exactly how to accurately and beneficially communicate what happened to my insurance company, he set me up with a great deal for my car rental, helped with the deductible, and even deep-cleaned the car and left me with some extra paint for future touch-ups! He explained everything extremely well and when I picked up the car this morning, the work was excellent. I really can t recommend Rich more highly!

I have used Richie and his crew several times over the past few years and the experience from initial drop off thru pick up was great. They did it all, dealt with the insurance companies, got us a rentacar, kept us in the loop as to the progress and, of course, did exceptional work with the repairs. They are highly recommended.

My car was rear ended in early February, thousands in damage, but Rich made this frustrating process so much easier to navigate. He helped me to think of things the trauma of accidents will have you overlook, educated me in my ignorance, and pretty much held my hand every step of the way! They were all so personable, professional and patient. I trusted their work, and they didn't disappoint, my car's rear came back to me as smooth as a baby's bottom!!! I'm very happy with the work they did, and certainly recommend this body shop. Thank you Rich n company. .

My first experience with Collision Specialist was over the top. They greeted me professionally, walked me step by step through the process of having my vehicle repaired via my insurance claim. I wish to add something - I just had my car delivered back to me after detailing - WOW - a 9 year old car looks brand new, inside and out. My leather seats looked like they just came out of the factory - incredible attention to details. Thank you. Wonderful experience. Ready when promised. Paint match perfect, and car delivered clean inside and out. I could not ask for better service!

This was probably the best experience working with any auto body repair shop!It is an honest and family run operation. The work was done in a timely manner and Rich was very fair about pricing. I have repeatedly worked with this group and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

Absolutely my go to for auto damage. I have utilized their service for over 20 years. Most recently my brand new Audi was hit and no witnesses. They took me throughout the whole process including reserving a loaner car. My car was repaired professionally and delivered on time. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Rich and his sons at collision Specialists of Inwood have repeatedly done an amazing job fixing my cars. From taking my calls on his cell phone after hours on what to do at the scene of the accident to dealing with insurance companies that never want to pay for the right job and getting them to do so, arranging for a rental car, to dropping the better than new repaired cars off at my office i highly recommend them

I have worked with them on 3 separate occasions, including sending friends and family. They make you super comfortable, holding your hand through the entire process. And of course they do superb work. No question I will always go to them for any body work I ever need.
