I had the TNT TOWTRUCK come out on behalf of AAA . I must say the guy towing was amazing . So nice and helpful , didn t force me to bring to his shop or anything . He was honestly one of the best gentlemen I have dealt with . I can only imagine how the auto shop is . I will definitely give my business to them.Service - 10/10

Have used them initially for a AAA offer of oil change plus free tire rotation. The cost of the oil changecwas comparable to the dealership charge, but the wsit time was maybe 10 minutes, as opposed to much longer at the dealership (Toyota). Most importantly I found them to be both professional and courteous. They always have cars and local customers on hand for work. I've had inspections done here and would not hesitate to rely on them for brake, engine or any work they say they can handle.

Called triple A for a Tow, and they decided to send out TNT. Before they get there they call me and told me the driver was at another call. So I told them I ll be next door to grab something and they completed the tow via triple A. Not even 10min pass and I m calling the guy for an update and he says I have to contact triple A because the driver could not wait. Mean while he told me the driver was on another call.Being an owner of an auto repair shop myself, this was poor customer service and I would warn people stay away. If they treat tow customers like that imaging if you take your car to their shop.. and I am not one to write a bad review but this place was so bad that I had to. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!!!!!

If I could give less than one star, I would. Awful. Awful. Awful. Scammed me out of almost 200 bucks for a POS battery that lasted two days before needing to be replaced. Rude service simply getting the battery installed. Then when I needed to call someone there to get things taken care of, no one would pick up the phone! Terrible. Stay away. Ended up having a real mechanic install a battery that actually works.Service: Battery

I called triple AAA to tow our car from home to local mechanic since our brake fuel line broke. Even though towing company were delayed by almost an hour due to high volume we were appropriately informed and kept frequently updated by AAA. Jamie DeJesus from TNT towing company arrived and easily towed our car to Mavis without any issues. He was professional and courteous. Thank you TNT and AAA!

Do not use this business for triple A service . The white tall blond driver who speaks limited English and can't read said he couldn't work on my car because the registration was expired. It was not! he left saying he had no time for me and had other customers to attend to. He told triple A that he ran my plates and it came up expired. He never ran my plates because had he done so it would have come up as active as the legal paper document I showed him. All he cared about was going back to his girlfriend in the car and leave to end his day. I called John the owner and his response was I'm home and the shop is closed you deal with triple A to correct the problem. Even after I explained that due to his drivers lie they wouldn't send another call out he wouldn't even call triple A to rectify what his driver did so that I wouldn't be left without a car over the weekend. My advise, if you want honest good customer service don't use them for anything because if they don't care about what their staff does wrong and wash their hand off of it imagine what they will do with a botch repair. All I can say to the careless owner John is I beleive in karma and when it comes for you remeber that was due to you and your careless staff

The pre-owned Grand Cherokee I bought had a problem with the stop/start system. The dealership told me to have it repaired at TNT. Called Wednesday for an appointment, dropped it off Friday morning and picked it up Friday at 4PM. My stop/start system works flawlessly now. Great service, friendly people.

This company is a joke!Need to tow my car to a mechanic. Called AAA, and TNT came. AAA covers the towing cost. But TNT asked me to pay $300 extra! I refused to pay and decided to call AAA to sort it out. The driver just took off. Crazy! A bit more to the story, my car actually broke down the night before, another company towed it to my home WITHOUT any extra cost or anything! And guess what I did, I asked AAA to contact the company that helped me previous night. They came and towed my car to a mechanic, WITHOUT any cost! What a joke, TNT Automotive Service!

My advice when you need a tow with AAA is to call AAA and NOT request this company. This company doesn t even deserve 1 star. The driver came and said he can t tow my fianc� s car because it s heavily modded. The car isn t modded. In fact they previously towed the SAME car to my house a few months before without a problem. The driver said it ll be $5 per mile. $280 total. He left and I called AAA customer myself and the rep told me that she ll have them tow the car. The driver calls my fianc� himself and tells him if we call about the car again my AAA membership will be cancelled. LOL. I called AAA again and told them what the driver said and had the problem fixed easily. The driver just didn t want to do his job. I feel bad for the people that actually fall for it and pay out of pocket. I really hope AAA drops this company s contract.

Orhan from TNT Automotive Inc New Hyde Park, just towed my truck home tonight, that literally died while I was driving it. I told him I was sitting in my cold truck w/ my child & my elderly mom & aunt, & he said he would be there as soon as he could. He was 20 min away but got there in 10min! He was so nice & all smiles. My family picked us up & I met him back at my house & he took my truck off tow truck & drove it into my driveway for me w/ a battery charger so it wouldn't be on the street. A++++ I highly recommend this company. Top notch service w/ friendly caring people. Thank you again Orhan!

they are listed as a AAA approved tow company and when they showed up they told me my car was too low and they were getting sued by people so they wouldn't take my car that's 5 inches plus off the ground. The owner was even ruder. his workers were worse. if you like your money don't spend it here they are a terrible company with terrible leader ship and customer service . AVOID youve been warned

At first i was under the impression that T&T was a stand up company, I had been referred too. This is where I was wrong. There job was to change my alternator and pully belt. This they did, but "not" with out isses there after. However the alternator is bad and runs at a low voltage. (13.2/13.5) no higher, limiting cars full component operational power. I brought my car back and John at T&T Auto Services where John refused to run a full diagnostic to make certain their was no power issues. "Saying", "he thinks nothings wrong with it". Suggested I replace my battery. So after $300 new battery, THE ALTERNATOR STILL FUNCTIONS LOW AT 13.2 AND 3 TO 13.5.My friends the alternator after started fully & running at full power reads still reads 13.2 the highest it maintains is 13.5. When I use full functions in my car the power seems to get weaker. My passenger window won't go down ect. Usb not work and more. I've ask john to address this issue before it becomes a civil matter several times, as he refused to even diagnos his own work or parts he ordered . So I took this car to the professional Alternator Rebuilders to make sure im not wrong. Or wrongfully accusing T&T for a bad alternator & an or job. This sort of personal treatment is disrespectful to customers. It's not good, & unexceptable. I also took this car to the professional Alternator Rebuilders in Farmingdale ny. Where they said, " the alternator was bad as well as the cluch may have a problem. After my visit i took this information to john as well. Told him they even mentioned the cluch on the alternator may be bad. Again he refused to look at it. Asked me to "leave his shop". I then called the police to make a report after he told me just to leave his shop, with a very bad attitude. Also attempting to try and fix the issue rudely told me he would replace my alternator with the same brand, and if my alternator gave the same reading, I'd pay the labor cost. Sounds fair right? I know & also now I agree. HOWEVER this has caused to much problems & tension has built up negative. I do not trust people with my property when they are upset with me or our current situation. I would be subjected to further sabotage. This was my 5th attempt to get john to understand that this alternator may power the car to start, but maybe is the wrong one or has an internal issues. Now we need court. Any suggestions anyone? TV court or civil, here we come. I want the cost of my part. JOHN can keep his labor. With an attitude like that and after paying my hard erned funds theirs no way he should tell me he will not fix my car the way it should be fixed. Please respond to post with idea's all Attorney's welcome. Tv court as well until I file. John refund me the cost of my part please.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Engine repair

Super quick, friendly service. I've been there before and they're consistently solidly good. My dad was a mechanic and he passed away so I'm always nervous to go to a place in fear of getting ripped off, I never have to worry here. That alone is worth five stars.

Called AAA when my alternator went and they sent TNT. Driver was there in no time and couldn't be nicer. He called the shop to explain what my issue was and the mechanic gave me an estimate right on the phone. Car was done in no time and they stuck to the estimate they gave on the phone. It was my first time using them so I was nervous but I live in the area and will use them again.

TNT came out through AAA to help with a tire issue. Their mechanic was extremely patient and helpful, and their prices were very fair. The mechanic wasn't rushing or pushy, and took his time explaining the costs and needs. Definitely recommend!

I really want to express on how completely ecstatic I am with TNT Automotive Services, since buying my Hyundai back in 2016. I have never experienced such Excellent & professional services from any Auto Shop I've dealt with in my life Honestly. I came across TNT when looking for a reputable & honest Auto Shop back in April of 2016, & since then I refuse to take my Hyundai to anyone but TNT for service. The reason why ? is because I trust no one since experiencing a Horrific experience with Sears Auto Center in Valley Stream with my previous 1998 Isuzu Trooper in which by the time Sears Auto was done with my Isuzu Trooper I sadly, had to donate her to Kars4 Kids. I must say it again & again the TNT team starting with Omar, Dennis & John are AWESOME guys. Since dealing with them I can tell you I don't TRUST anyone with my Vehicle at all. These guys are wonderful & amazing they are very professional, they really care about your Vehicle and will not return it with any missing bolts/screws if you know what I mean. When speaking with any of them they hear you, listen too you and they make sure your needs are met when servicing your Vehicle. Furthermore, I can reassure you that they are very reasonable without a doubt and last but not least they aren't CROOKS !!!It's extremely hard to find Honest & Trustworthy Mechanic Shops like TNT now a days. Thank you, guys for all you do in keeping my Hyundai up & running like a baby. You're Awesome !!!!!!!

Called AAA and got TNT to show up worst customer service I ve ever had in my life I ve been a AAA member for five years this is the worst towing company I ve ever dealt with. Not only did the driver not use 4 points of safety he then also threw a hook into my rim scratching it. When I called their dispatch I was cursed and yelled at as they told me their driver has over 15 years of experience apparently not. I will be trying to reach the supervisor in the morning to see what will be done. When I spoke to AAA to complain about the company they put in the complaint and said this is the third complaint about the company in the past two months about unsafe driving.If I can give this company zero stars I would

Worst and untrustworthy company.. car came back with a dead battery on top of the problems it had and they will overcharge you if you use AAA.. if they overcharge you call AAA and get the right price. There giving AAA a bad name..

Had my car fixed and maintained here after bmw warranty expired. They were quick to diagnose and give me options regarding price. Very professional. They also offer late after hour pick up for people who work. Been driving my car for about a month since and drives like new!

I m from Ct. I was recently released from Winthorp hospital in New York . As I was driving home a few blocks away from the hospital my car shut off. I called AAA, and my car was towed to TNT automotive in Hyde Park New York . It was late and I was told the mechanic would look at my car in the morning. I manage to get a ride home back to ct. I received the call the next day after the mechanic looked at my car. He informed me that my timing belt went and did major damage to my Engine . Then told me I was looking at 4 to $5000 in repairs. Then asked right away what I wanted to do with the car because it wasn t worth fixing. ( it s a 2006 Subaru Legacy, that I bought used ) I dedcided to have the car towed back to Ct where, My mechanic could look at it . I paid TNT about $280 for looking at my car. When my mechanic checked out my car, he replaced the timing belt and few other issues and it cost me less than $600 dollars.Why would a professional mechanic at TNT tell me it would cost 4 to $5000 dollars to repair my car?Seems pretty shady to me. I would not recommend this place for car repairs.

Towed my car at 10pm at night after an accident. Most professional guy ever! Arrived extremely fast and was even friendly when i needed it the most. Nice clean flat bed truck.

Great neighborhood auto repair shop. Honest people and great mechanics. I don't go anywhere else, no reason when you combine good prices and great service plus friendly people. If you dont go there currently your going to the wrong place.

STAY AWAY !!!I am a professionally licensed mechanic. a time crunch forced me to bring one of my vehicles to this local repair shop. A simple repair took three tries. Every time I had to quarrel with them about charging me for what they had done wrong.Very poor customer service and a very poor mechanical aptitude.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Bieng that my old mechanic closed down in hicksville n.y . I Took my car in for service at t.n.t automotive for the first time and i was very pleased. T.n.t will from now on be my new mechanic shop . Honest, best pricing, and friendly felt right at home with t.n.t automotive. Plus first auto shop I've been to that's squeaky clean . They set a good name for a.a.a roadside.

STAY AWAY. TNT TOWING IS THE WORST IN THE BUSINESSES!!!. I needed my car to be towed and was told that they will come get me in 2 hours. 2 hrs later, after waiting in the freezing cold for them to arrive, I get a call saying that they no longer care to pick me up. I wish I can give them negative stars.

I had my bmw x5 fix in this place very Professionals and quick response i pick up my truck on friday no issues but 2 days later truck makes some weird noise i was worrie about it call john he send a tow truck right at the moment and everything was taking care great guys to work with i definitely coming back .......

I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!! THE ARE VERY ACCOMMODATING! EVERYONE WAS KIND AND COMPASSIONATE. FOR THE FIRST TIME I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE I WAS BEING RIPPED OFF WITH OVER PRICED REPAIRS.

Terrible company. We will never use them again and wouldn't recommend to anyone. Luckily they aren't the only towing company around.
