Overall great experience at this mechanic. John is very straightforward and upfront about the work that needs to be done and the cost. No cut corners and quick service. Flexible, easy to make appointments. It's also convenient that you can text him. Glad I went here!

I am very disappointed with NHP Auto Specialist. John is always very rude and brushes off my questions. He overcharged me for repairs he did and then later on when the repairs he did led to my car not passing inspection, instead of trying to help me he ignored my phone calls and blocked my phone number. I see a bunch of good reviews and that s why I came to him but truthfully I don t understand how he managed to get them. He runs an awful repair shop and I would advise people to shop elsewhere.

I know enough about cars to know when a body shop is being shady. I've never had to worry about that here. Always excellent work at fair prices. The owner is very knowledgeable and explains everything before starting work. You won't regret coming here.

Excellent mechanic!!! John will give you a honest assessment of what you need to have done on your car and he will never over price your repairs.My family has been taking our cars to him for sometime and we have never had a problem.

Reliable dependable and most of all trustworthy. I have followed John from Little Neck to Jericho Turnpike to here. I bring all my vehicles to him and refer anyone that asks for a reliable repair shop.

Nhp labor charge($140/h) other shop($80-90/h). The skills of the boss here are low to medium, low in service, best in labor charge
