We live in Virginia, traveled to USMA/West Point for a Friday-night event, and reserved a hotel room across from CIA in Hyde Park. In Cornwall on Hudson, we hit a series of potholes & immediately blew the front left tire. With effort, we were able to get a midnight tow to Monro my daughter had experienced trustworthy, quick service there on her VW Beetle as a young adult student at CIA. Early Saturday, called Monro, and Kerry assured us they would get our Jeep Compass repaired so we could drive home to Virginia that day. We were impressed 1) by the team s positive and compassionate attitudes; 2) their availability, open on Saturday AND had the tires needed for the 80th Anniversary Jeep Compass; 3) their clear and complete assessment and communication about the issues, solution and cost; and 4) ease of payment and speed of checkout. In fact, we were back in the Jeep by noon. We re grateful for how they remedied this challenging situation for us.

Always a positive experience. I really like dealing with Matt, Kerry and Dan. These people I trust. They have done a lot of work for me. No complaints. Very happy with these people.

Dropped off our SUV for an inspection. Received a call regarding an issue removing the lug nuts. The representative provided a thorough explanation of the issue, offered a courtesy solution, and confirmed the root cause upon pickup. Friendly and professional throughout the experience.

Been following Dan Lupo at various Monro shops for close to 30 years. The service has always been top notch. I just had a new exhaust system installed on my '65 Mustang and I couldn't be more pleased with the work Dan, Don and the rest of the staff did. If you need tires, brakes, exhaust work or just an oil change, I highly recommend Monro in Hyde Park. Tell Dan Jim sent you.

Kerry and Matt are awesome and always take the time to listen and explain. All the guys really work hard and get the cars in and out in a very reasonable time. I travel and hour to use this specific Monroe and will continue to do so with this team in place.All of the above is still true about Kerry and Matt but Dan is horrible and after the second time of causing major issues in my planning I m over having to deal with him. First he refused my mom to come in after Kerry said she could and today I made an appt on Monday for an oil change at 5pm on Friday 9/1 and got my confirmation email and text. Friday I was in westchester and got back early so stopped in to see if they could may take my car earlier than my appt because I live in Kingston and wanted to get home early if I could. Dan informed me that s a problem with their scheduling system as a corporation and he was sure he had told me that before (clearly this corporate issue was my fault) when I showed him the confirmation text -then he said they just hadn t gotten a chance to call me yet. I was standing in front of him at 3 pm and my appt was at 5 I live 45 mins away and I would have been more angry if I had only left home for this appt. Then in the middle of this he just answered the phone regardless that I was upset. Looking for a new mechanic I never want to deal with him again and will not be back while he s there.Edit 9/2: store manager Kerry apologized and willing to do what he can to make things right and it s important to know that a business will do this and take concerns and complaints seriously tentatively willing to keep trying at this point

The Munro Auto Service and Tire Center in Hyde Park is the absolute best place to get your car serviced in the Hudson Valley. The entire staff from the top down is incredibly friendly and professional and with their expertise they have quickly identified and fixed every issue I've had with my car over the years including issues that other service centers have been unable to fix. Plus their pricing is the best I've found in the Hudson Valley. All of my friends who have used them on my recommendation have had the same positive experience. While most people dread a trip to an auto service center I look forward to every visit to this location.

Shop did not perform alignment correctly, attempted to have the alignment corrected and technicians and service writer actually became violent and would not make the correction or refund the money for service.. Here is their alignment printout and a printout from Mavis as second opinion and proof of faulty work

I ve never reviewed anywhere before. But I just graduated from the CIA and had a 20 hour drive to do. I took my car in last minute and they were SO HELPFUL AND SWEET!! They gave me my oil change and inspection and were honest with me about last minute things I needed to get done on my car and were sure they could do in time.The following morning they opened early for me to pick up my car, checked tire pressure simply because he noticed before I left, and then fixed an annoying (but not detrimental) rattling sound.Thanks to him and this place, my car made it safe and sound all the way through my trip, even though it s 21 years old!!!Thank you very much to the team for looking out for me and my car.

This is a first class auto repair shop. Matt managed the a/c repair on my very old Audi efficiently, at a reasonable cost, and with wonderful customer service awareness. I waited for my repair to be completed and thus saw all customers treated in the same respectful, straightforward, and cheerful manner by both Matt and Kerry. It was my first visit, but it seems that they have customers that have been coming to them for many years. I can see why--will refer everyone who asks . . .

Always dependable service. If you don't need it, they don't fix it. If you do need it fixed, they fix it right and don't pad the bill. Consistently good. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Monroe in Hyde Park for many, many years. The Manager Kerry is Excellent at his job and very knowledgeable. He deserves a ten star rating. His staff Don and others are great! This is the place you want to go. Any other place you are currently going to is a waste of time. Prices for any job are far the best around, you can t beat it ! Trust me and go see Kerry and his great staff.Brett Lipton

The team at Monro in Hyde Park goes the extra mile to understand their customers needs and exceed their expectations. I have a company vehicle I depend upon the execute my work as a Project Manager. Terry and his team are always responsive to my needs and understood how important this vehicle is to my job, and always try and accommodate my requests. We bring our whole fleet here now. Excellent job, they really look out for you! Special thanks to Matt this time around.

The service here is incredible. We have had all our vehicle servicing performed here for years and would never consider going anywhere else. Everyone is incredibly helpful and the actual work has always been excellent, whether a simple oil change or diagnosing and fixing problems with foreign cars. We have known Kerry for about 25 years now and he has helped us, our children and even helped one of our grandchildren with her first car. We highly recommend it.

Every time I go into Monroe Muffler of Hyde Park it s nothing short of a fast,easy, and quick fix. I have been going for over a year now to get my tires rotated and oil changed, the staff is amazing and so friendly. If you want amazing customer service For any of you re car needs this is the place. The manager Kerry has been helping me out and is such a genuine person. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Kerry (I believe he might run the place) was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable in diagnosing and repairing my 2004 Jeep Wrangler from a "death" wobble above 55 mph. We reviewed options and he eventually took the car out himself a few times in order to recommend the correct repair from a number of possible solutions. The service was fast and always with a smile. The Jeep drives like it's fresh off the car lot. Happy to have found Monroe Auto and will definitely be using them for all my auto needs!

Steve, Kerry, and Matt at the Monroe Muffler, Hyde Park are very nice and knowledgeable. You can put your trust in these guys when it comes to car repairs. They will not do things that are not necessary like most dealers do and they really go out of their way to take care of their customers. They are great mechanics. Steve always helps me and is an awesome guy who trys to get me discounts. Kerry runs his staff and is great at making things priority. Matt helped me get new rims at a cheaper price by suggesting an alternate location to get them which I think is great because they all think about the customer. I recommend anyone who is looking to get your car fixed to use these guys. 5 Stars!

Made an appointment for an oil change and a NYS inspection. They did a great job getting my car in and completed within one hour. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful! Will be back for my next oil change! :)

I have brought my 4 family automobiles to HP Monro for several years now and I always feel Kerry, Steve and Matt are very honest and trustworthy when working on my vehicles. They have resolved many simple and complex issues on my Ford and VW vehicles in a timely manner. They are also very upfront and informative with the work that is required along with all options. I appreciate that. I have visited other auto repair shops in the past and have not had such a positive customer experience. Thank You Anthony Ferreri

Monro Muffler in Hyde Park, NY gives the best customer satisfaction I have ever experienced! They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and fair priced. Every time I bring my car in for an oil change, they look at my filters, tire pressure, and brakes, with no extra charge! They truly care about their customers, and I would recommend them to any one. I am truly happy to do business with them!

Editing my past review from 1 to 5 stars. No one else had the tires I needed at an affordable rate. They got me what I needed, cut me a deal, and even accomidated me on a weekend around lunch. Will return in the future. Kerry was nothing but helpful.

I was about to leave for a hike and noticed I had a flat tire. I had AAA tow my car to Monro where I was helped immediately. The manager communicated with me the entire time about cost and other details. They were extremely thorough and efficient. I left in less than an hour; my car was fixed; and I still got my hike in. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area and even if you aren t!
