Good old fashioned business. I needed tire maintenance but decided to get oil and filter service because of the great reviews. What a courteous and solid team. They are responsive, knowledgeable and efficient - I was in and out in no time. And the waiting area is clean and quiet. What's more, they told me I didn't need alignment after all. This kind of service and honesty is what will keep me coming here. Please don't change a thing.

Service at Mavis Discount Tires is outstanding! I was greeted by really helpful and knowledgable staff right away. They made sure I got exactly what I needed within my budget by guiding me easily through the tire choosing process. After a speedy and effective installation, my car now handles like a dream. Awesome place, got some valve stems replaced and Jes�s helped us out. Very kind and professional. Facility looked clean and organized, always a good sign. Was not fast but they had staff out sick and so the family and I had a nice time out, can t complain. 5/5

Very easy to schedule an appointment and great discounts! I came in to get my bald tires replaced. They were friendly and got it done quickly. The place was clean and even had a section for kids to play and watch a movie! Will definitely be coming back.

I came in for a walk in appointment for an oil change and Jesus was able to accommodate me immediately, even though it was close to closing time. His promptness, kindness and warm demeanor did not go unnoticed. I would definitely recommend and will be continuing to go here in the future.

I called in at around 3:30 earlier yesterday. I d run over a nasty pothole an hour away and was driving on the donut. Jesus was friendly and straightforward and was thankfully able to squeeze me in. Him and his team replaced the tire and had me on my way within the hour. Top-notch service + customer care - highly recommend!

Mavis did a quick and efficient job changing my tire. I called and they were able to take me in right away. They quickly replaced the donut with a brand new tire. The team was also very friendly!

I have only ever come to this Mavis for tires and for good reason. They always take good care of my vehicle ( super high mileage 2010 Colorado) and never pressure me into anything I don't want or need, like some chain shops.In the past I had some issues with the managers who would do the intake. They would almost try to intimidate me into getting more work done or upcharge me for things that were clearly listed on the website as one set price. Thankfully they are long gone and the new manager is absolutely wonderful. He keeps you up to date on everything going on with the vehicle start to finish. He makes you feel comfortable and helps you understand issues with your vehicle you may not be fully versed in. I am former military and get a bit uncomfortable asking for discounts. Whether he knew or not ( I did have my unit sweatshirt on at the time) he set me up with a great discount. One that was thoroughly needed and appreciated. I will absolutely be back as long as he is there!

I recently got an oil change from Mavis and they did a wonderful job! I ve also gotten my Tires changed and an alignment from Jesus and his guys. Jesus is one of the best guys Mavis could have on the job! He is very hard working and honest! I haven t found another place as good as Mavis Discount Tire at Hyde Park NY. Any thing I need to get looked at or repaired I go straight to Mavis Discount and will continue getting my work done from them!

Brought my car and crankshaft sensor to the Hyde Park store to replace, since I tried for 4hrs but couldn't get to it myself. Came back 30min later, car was ready and manager, Jesus, said there was no charge since it was such an easy job! Left the mechanic a tip, and with a big smile on my face. Can't thank you guys enough!

I came to Mavis to get an oil change, I was in and out of there within 30 minutes. The manager Jesus is extremely welcoming and very helpful as well. It shows that he cares about making a comfortable work environment for his colleagues and also for the customers as well. I highly recommend coming to Mavis, you will not be disappointed!

Today was my first time trying the new mavis in hyde park. I only needed a tire rotation so I figured I'd give them a try. They were great. Everyone was very helpful and respectful. They let me know that i need some work done on my back breaks but didn't in any way try to pressure me into doing them right then or even with them at all like a lot of other places I've been. They just wanted me to know that they will need to be done in the near future. Then when my truck was all done and I went to pay them they told me there is no charge for tire rotations even though I didn't get the tires from them. I'll definitely be going there from now on for anything I need done with my vehicles.

I came in after popping a tire and Jesus took care of me so fast and got me in and out after putting on all 4 new tires! They were extremely nice here and care about your time and your car. I will definitely be coming back for all other services that they offer!

The guys here were extremely helpful and kind. They got my car in and out in less than a hour and my baby rides like I am very happy with the outcome. I highly recommend this location if you're looking for good service at a good price. Thank you all so much

The counter person didn't seem very trustworthy....he tried charging me over $100 for a conventional oil change, but he changed it after I complained. The only good thing is they don't seem busy at all if you need your vehicle looked at. Just take a look at the pricing online before you go in so you don't get ripped off.

So my sister had her car fixed by this Mavis and she tells me they did an amazing job. She gave me great feedback on the store manager Jesus. I plan to take my Hyundai Elantra so he can help me restore it back to new. I spoke to Jesus about fixing my car and he gave me great advice and made me feel real comfortable about them doing the job. These are the kind of professionals I like handling my car.

I have been going to mavis for a while and they have always been so good to me and my car. Whether it s an oil change or brake pads or even a flat tire, the workers are always very helpful and the manager Jesus is always kind. I always recommend this place to my friends.

The Manager Jesus was great help!! Gave me his honest suggestion and told me a really needed to change my tires because they where in dangerous condition and showed me all options!! On what would work best for me will be going back just because he took good care of me!!

The guys at Mavis are great!!! They really helped us out. My sister a couple weeks ago ran into a curb with my mom s car and completely tore open the front left tire. They very quickly sent someone out to change the tire and put the donut on. Then we drove to the Mavis in Hyde park and they replaced the two front tires!! The tires actually had way more wear and tear than they were supposed to with the mileage they had. So they called the company for the tires and they replaced our two front tires free of charge!! they were lifesavers because we actually had to drive to Massachusetts that night and since they changed the tires so quickly and efficiently we still made it to Mass that night! And they re also very kind people there! Jesus was the best!!

Such a great atmosphere and courteous staff! The manager there (Jesus) was very helpful and worked with me as far as pricing went.Very honest guy which doesn t happen very often at auto places. MAVIS DISCOUNT, HYDE PARK NY. THE PLACE TO GO IF YOU HAVE ANY CAR ISSUES!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND A+++

Eddie was fantastic. He was honest, patient, and listened. Highly recommend this location for your car service needs and changed my opinion of Mavis from a previous bad experience.Adding to this as my most recent experience with Jesus was equally as incredible as my first experience with this location. He took care of me and he always makes me feel welcomed coming in. Highly recommend this location and will not go anywhere else for my maintenance needs!
