These guys are amazingly knowledgeable and professional. Took my car to them for a odd knocking sound and they were able to pin point the issue and fix it in no time. Definitely would recommend!

The best auto repair shop ever! They are always courteous, professional, and get the job done with high quality. Alex will tell you exactly what he did to the car. He might even show you the old parts to explain the issue so you understand completely. I recommend them highly! Worst place on planet earth. The shop verified my door lock actuators were gone, and asked $1000 to replace them using their new parts. I verify my parts with the shop, and they say they can do the job and the parts are correct. A week later I come and they say they cant do the job, and made me waste the money I spent on my parts, and changed the price for labor even though it was fixed a week before. Nasty attitude to customers, and the white fat guy is disrespectful and rude. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. THEY OVERCHARGE LIKE CRAZY. I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS!!!!!Service: Lock rekeying

I brought my 2021 Audi RS6 to Alex at PHD after an electrical issue. The efficiency and accuracy of Alex s diagnostic is second to none. Not only did he fix the issue the dealer could not, he even taught me a few things about the car systems I didn t know! I would recommend anyone with any kind of car to PHD with confidence that they re leaving with the problem resolved.!! A+++

I was introduced to Auto PHD several years ago by a mechanic who worked for BMW/Mercedes dealer. He told me when they could not figure out an engine problem, they go to Auto PhD - Alex is a brilliant mechanic, his staff amazing, and this is individual car attention specializing in high end cars. Manny runs the place like clockwork, really great customer experience. Very honest and reliable. I have years experience with mechanics all over the US, they are truly the best!! Highly recommended!!

I have taken three different cars to Auto PhD. Each time, Alex has solved my electrical issues in a fast and courteous manner. Issues that could not be resolved in other places were corrected at Auto PhD. I had my car towed from The Bronx this week after it being at another repair shop for six weeks. Alex fixed it in one day at a most reasonable cost.Alex at Auto PhD is a remarkable technician and a most friendly and understanding person.I most highly recommend this place!Service: Repair hardware

A year ago Long Island BMW dealership tried to rip me off when I went there for service. They said my X3 has a leakage and $2000 to replace a seal.I said I will come back later. I wanted to see if it can be done cheaper so came to Alex and to my surprise Alex told me there is no leakage. BMW dealership was actually trying to scam.From that time I come to Auto PhD for all service and repairs. Alex and his team are great people and really expert in their field. Their workshop is modern, neat and clean and they do quality work.And on top of that most honest people which is very rare in auto industry.

Such excellent service! I recently came in to service my 2017 Lexus RX when it hit the 50,000 mile mark. I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff. As a woman with limited knowledge about cars, I ve always felt taken advantage of in auto shops. I finally had a very positive experience here thanks to Alex, he took the time to answer my questions, he is extremely knowledgeable and it really put me at ease and I felt very comfortable. Overall a really great experience, and will definitely be coming back in the future.

Excellent work ,honest , trustworthy, professional place Alex and his staff are the best . they doing very well. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would ... I own a Mercedes Benz S550 i had Issues with the car electrically and I brought it to Alex after other mechanics from dealer try to fix it but can't doing the right job so i decided to go to Alex was honest with me and did the right job for a reasonable price .Great service and Excellent work by professionals for German cars Special MERCEDES BENZ, AUDI, and BMW.Thank you ALEX and God blessing you and all the worker in your shop.

Let me start saying that if there was an opportunity to give them more stars i would absolutely not hesitate and give them 10.I arrived with a Toyota that i bought from an auction and Alex and his team opened up my eyes from A to Z.Auto PHD Team is above and beyond what a professional repair shop should be. They set up standards for every other repair shop to learn from them. This is my diagnostic and repair shop for life.Honesty is all you can expect from them.Worth of every mile i drove to them.

I know Alex and his crew from the shop in LIC. We sent all our diagnostics issues from the body shop to his repair shop. He got it right first time out the box all the time. Guy is a wizard. There is no match to Alex. Guy is scary smart. If you re going there expecting to be coddled and to feel warm and fuzzy - don t bother. He s in the fixing cars business not the therapy business. Much of his work is complex diagnostic repairs most vehicle owners won t understand anyway. Just be happy the car is fixed the first time without having to make multiple visits or deal with a shop that throws parts a car because they have no idea what they are doing. Not the case with Alex. In short he is the best around and it was a pleasant surprise to learn he relocated to Nassau County the same time I relocated to Nassau from Queens.

Top auto repair service with expertise on any electrical mechanical besides not being overcharged for all the services they provide. The Hillside Toyota dealers were asking $1500 and weren t sure of the problem. Auto PhD got it solved precisely for a very reasonable price of $250. Highly recommend everyone for all your auto needs !!!!

My mother, who knows nothing about cars, took her MB here because the check engine light was on. Come to find out, the car needs new spark plugs and they re trying to charge her $1300! Unbelievable. Major crook alert.

Alex is a top notch technician, I own my own repair shop and when I don't have the resources to complete a job alex is who I call. Very impressed with all his knowledge and experience with programming and diagnostic work. He makes the headache jobs simple.

This place is hands down best place to service and or fix your car. I ve been bringing my cars here for years and will do for years to come. Alex can fix any kind of cars. Will find and fix problems not even the dealer can find for a fraction of the cost. You guys are the best

It's Honestly Pretty Simple when you think about it....Every time your car isn't working right, you have that uneasy feeling,That it can be costly,.. and STILL not have your problem resolved.I was "Tossed Around" By "Automotive Wolves" in the past,..With computer problems, That couldn't be fixed, by the 4 people I had look at it.It was a Chevy, and they had no patience for it.Then a good mechanic told me.. he couldn't fix it..But Alex at PHD could.So I went there...When I brought it to him, He was totally NO NONSENSE....Actually, Beyond NO NONSENSE..You could see, he was on a different level, in the questions he asked me, and how he internally was formulating, an approach to solve the puzzle.An OLD SCHOOL Mechanic,... With the Newest School Techniques.I left it with him, and when I came back it was working perfectly.That was over a year ago.. it still works perfectly.. One Less worry in my head.Today I brought him my Toyota Camry with A/C issues....Again.. I'd had a run around with other people... and called Alex when I realized, he did Air Conditioning systems as well.. Not just esoteric Auto computer stuff..Within an hour of me dropping it off, he'd located the problems, and told me the most reasonable costing fix, that "Really Was a Fix"... not just a "Temporary patch job".It's that "repair attitude", which made me follow him to his new location...And I've Got To Tell You.... This Shop is Clean... So Clean... it's like they do surgery there.I'm NOT JOKING.High tech computers, and equipment that are part of a modern pleasant atmosphere, No Dirt, No Grease,.. it could be a photo in a Car Magazine.When I got home I was still thinking about it... and that's what propelled me to write... that I didn't have to pay through the nose, to get this level of "auto surgeon" to work on my car...It's nice when things work out that way... and I'd say,.. go to him first rather than last!.It's Easier, Cheaper, and Better...Thank You Alex

When you have no one to turn to and no one can fix your car not even the dealer AutoPhD is your solution brought my wife s bmw x7 for steering issues and inspection dealer tells me bring bring it back next week and leave it for a couple of days?! Impressive service! You can tell they are very knowledgeable and experienced. They are great at what they do. Any issue that arises with my car will be solved efficiently. Cannot imagine ever going anywhere else.
