Oscar saved the say for me. I went to Ace hardware to have the battery changed for my car key. The staff couldn't open the key. They told me to go to Able Lock. I left the store and Oscar was in his truck. He helped me on the spot. Able Lock was closed as it was Sunday. I will go to Able Lock and recommended them to my friends. I'll make sure to ask for Oscar.

Had an issue with my car key/alarm. This place was knowledgeable and professional, knew exactly what to do. I was able to get my car key swapped out with no issues problem solved. Pay a visit, you ll be taken care of, they have been around forever.Much appreciated and highly recommend!!

There are 2 able locks this one is in New Hyde Park the other 1 is in West Babylon they have nothing to do with each other they are not affiliated New Hyde Park likes to say they are and tells able lock customers And west Babylon to call their number In New Hyde Park the crooks liars and cheats Able lock in West Babylon is the best lock Smith around I'm a mobile maintenance guy I've been to plenty of them and New Hyde Park you're luck if you can get a keymaid

We needed to have new locks installed right away and they responded quickly, coming to our house within the hour of our visiting their business, in order to provide an estimate. The job entailed replacing the top and bottom locks on two external doors, with the same keys. The work was done the next day, removing the old and installing the new locks. Very professional and we appreciated the quick response. However, be advised, they were not inexpensive; $125 for the on site visit and $300 for each door, total $725.00.

I am 100% satisfied. Called for service and they arrived within 2 hours. The locksmith was an experienced courteous and competent professional. The price was very fair. Truly a good experience.

My lock set came in and I wasn t able to pick it up. They came and dropped it off to my workers so we can finish the job. Online prices are 25% cheaper for sure, but if we don t start support our local guys we won t have any local shops for anything.

Excellent and outstanding customer service. Excellent product selection, reasonable pricing on product and installation and very professional. Martin the Locksmith was especially kind, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Super highly recommended for your lock, key and security needs.

They where good making my keys.I had a fob key I got online and they made a perfect copy for me.I have had fob keys cut before and it sometimes a hit or miss but these guys where spot on....

I went to make 2 keys. One for a gate and another one for a cabinet. Gate key works, cabinet key doesn't. Well Ace hardware couldn't do either. Well I just let it be and didn't go for a refund or anything

This is a small mom and pop store. Staffs were very knowledgeable and good advice in getting you what you need. I went there because I couldn't find a particular key cylinder anywhere else and had found it at ABLE Lock Shop. They were friendly and very helpful!!

Not only was the guy unprofessional in tone, this merchant doesn't stand by their work. I went in to get a battery for my car key and I mentioned that the lock he installed in August wasn't lining up right since the weather changed. No hurry but would you please set a time to come adjust. Mind you my family and I've been going here for 30+ years. Arrogantly, the guy says "we don't do free adjustments. We don't need to guarantee anything over 90 days." What could have been a 20 minutes call on his way home, turned into me going to one of the three locksmiths that are closer to my house in the future. Ironically when I got home and wasn't angry anymore, I realized it hasn't been 90 days. Unfortunate.

Been here twice, received fast, knowledgeable service both times. Prices are reasonable. What I appreciated even more was the advice, as both times the information freely provided has proven useful.

I bought 3 locks at Home Depot 2 with same key and one with different key for my tenant. I installed one for my tenant thinking I used the one with the different key (I didn t) now my tenant isn t home to change the lock. So I went to Able locksmith with the two lock that I wanted to be keyed alike they are new in the box. I told him I wanted new key on the two locks. He took it to the back and did his work. Comes back to me like not even 10 minutes and say he s all done I ask for 5 extra keys.When I get home I installed them now little did he know I had a third lock on my tenant door when I go test them now all 3 lock have the same key when I specifically told him I wanted different key he just re-keys one lock and charges me to re-key 2 locks. He only really re-key one lock. That s call stealing will never use him again.Service: Lock rekeying

I called Able Lock Shop because when I put my key in the front door lock it wasn't turning, they told me they could send somebody out or I could just bring the lock in to them and they would check it for me. So I got my husband to take out the lock assuming I would need a new lock. When he checked the lock he told me it could be fixed so he fixed it right then and there. He could've told me I needed a new lock and I would've bought it. These guys are so honest and friendly. I will definitely be coming back here.

I called several locksmiths to inquire about making a simple copy of my car key. I received quotes ranging from $185 to $85. Able charged me $6.50. Honest businessman deserves to be supported!

This locksmith has a huge variety of keys. I went to two other locksmiths and they didn't have the right key to replicate mine. Thanks Able Lock for your huge selection. They also have a great variety of safes here which I will lol into on my next trip here! And thank you for your service with a smile!

Got an extra key and key fob made for my 2019 Hyundai Elantra. Took less then 10 min. I called 5 different places and this place was by far the cheapest. Fred is the man!

Dropped by this afternnon with a cylinder where key was getting stucked. Very friendly and helpful at the shop. He was quite knowledgeable and took care of things in a couple of minutes.

Able Locksmith is unprofessional, a rip-off, over priced and disrespectful. Yes, their key service works, but they over charge and take advantage of the circumstances. Oscar, especially should be fired. He is disrespectful, hostile, belligerent and unprofessional. He is also abusive and violent; a real crook. The owner Kevin should fire Oscar => Low-life. What a low-class, uneducated Oscar on Jericho Turnpike in Floral Park and New Hyde Park. Oscar should be fired. Stay clear of Oscar in AbleLock Shop in New Hyde Park. Good luck if you visit for an estimate.
