This is my go-to place for service in Columbia County for anything not covered for free at the dealer (of course I'll go where it's free, come on, but if it isn't, Todd is my guy). I've been taking my cars to Todd since 2010 and he has never steered me wrong. Fast, friendly, and priced right. This isn't the kind of place that will sell you things you don't need or try to charge extra for services. I've taken older cars, newer cars, domestic and imported, everything from maintenance like oil changes to repairs when something is broken. It doesn't matter the service, I have had a great experience every time. Don't waste your time with the chain places, Farrell's is the place to go!

Traveled a long ways to get good, honest work done on my car. Finally found the shop I will go to for all my automotive work. Reception was great, fair price and workmanship above and beyond. And they left my car s appearance in great shape.

Had to get a bumper fixed, and Ed and Jerry could not have been more kind, considerate, and professional. Speedy work, and they did a terrific job. I'm really grateful to them and everyone there. Thank you, Todd Farrell's!

HONEST and PROFESSIONAL business! My car had an issue with the protective shield while I was driving on the highway. It came loose and began giving off a scraping sound. I quickly googled to find a place (I don't live in Hudson) and Todd Farrell's was the closest mechanic. On Google Reviews I saw "honest mechanics" so I decided to go there. The service was beyond amazing. The owner, Todd was so professional and said he could fit my car in. My shield had loosened and the screws fell out. They fixed it quickly and were so friendly when talking me through the issue. Todd was really friendly and so were the mechanics. Car stuff can be so stressful, but what a gem this place is. Highly recommended and thanks for being so kind, Todd!

My experience was great. They replaced the starter on my 30 year old car same day and while it was there the valve stem blew on my front tire and they fixed it for free. That s service !

Todd and Amy are great. Highly recommend them. They run a great business and they are fantastic people. The only thing we disagree on is baseball teams. Todd likes the red team. I like the blue team. Thank you again Todd and Amy for helping me. Please go to Todd Farrell s for your automobile needs. They re awesome!

Tried to charge $1,000 for a muffler *patch* (not muffler replacement)The reviews were all great so I thought it'd be fine to drop off my partner's car there for some pre-inspection fixes. He clearly needed a new muffler and a brake job, not much else, plus it had brand new tires. We made an appointment a week in advance (busy season, no shame in that) and three days in the guy calls him back and says it'll be $1,000 to put a PATCH on a muffler, which is like a $15 dollar investment at most? (Not even replace it which is like $200!) and ANOTHER $1k for a brake job (should be ~$600 to 800) and two new tires? (when all the tires are already brand new). Doesn't seem like that's the norm for this spot based on all the reviews, but be careful I guess.

I rarely if ever leave reviews but today I must! In the middle of last year I moved from NYC to Hudson and needed a little knock around car desperately -- I found one on FB - she is VERY old and creaky. I am still teary thinking what Todd and his team did last week to keep me on the road. They knew how much I relied on this car and literally worked for days to help me (and I saw they were very busy)-- going WAY beyond the call of duty -- not giving up on me or my little Toyota -- ensuring that I had what was needed to keep going. Todd's place represents the heart of community -- in fact, if ever there was an auto-shop run on the values of compassion, kindness, fairness, justice, and excellence this is it. I am unspeakably grateful. I would give a million stars if I could and recommend with all my heart. I would go nowhere else. <3

Purchased a vehicle from a young lady in hudson and she gave me the parts list and labor estimate to fix the loud exhaust ,from Farrell's . $3000.00 !!!Said basically everything from the y pipe back needed to be replaced except the catalytic converters . Prices for the parts were outrageous, not sure what they charge per hour for labor . My mechanic fixed it in 20 minutes and it just needed the place where the flange was rusted welded . If I had purchased the flange for 35 and paid 100.00 an hour for the labor with tax it still would have been less than 150.00Beware ladies . I wish I could add a picture and a video . I'd show you all what they wrote and how perfectly quiet my suv is now .

Great guys. Jiffy lube failed my truck inspection due to a missing lug nut and supposed damage to the stud. Matt had a look on the fly and had no problem getting the spare nut on in less than a minute.Lesson learned, get your inspections at Todd Farrell's and skip the jiffy lube!

Called me to tell me the issue with my car and told me the price before they proceeded with anything. Friendly mechanics/employees. Very busy place but they fit me in quickly.Will continue to go here for routine maintenance on my vehicle.

I had such a wonderful experience at Todd Farrell's Car Care Center today. As a female who knows little to nothing about cars, it is hard to find a mechanic who doesn't take advantage of that fact. I was able to easily make an appointment and felt right at home the moment I stepped through the (wrong) door. Everyone was kind and welcoming and I had some wonderful conversations while I waited for my car. The prices were fair and I felt everyone was extremely trustworthy. I will be coming here from now on for all of my car issues! Go Sox! :)

Todd and his guys are so friendly and explains things to you if you don't understand. Todd's wife works there at times and she is a wonderful person as well. I got a new place to take my car to get fixed since I moved to south county.

I came into Hudson from out of town to see a car being sold on Craigslist. I made an appointment at Todd Farrell's to have the car looked at. Todd and his mechanics gave a very thorough and honest appraisal of the vehicle. It was great customer service given I was a stranger with little potential as a future client to them.

Did not receive service as expected:I described engine trouble + bodywork (headlight replacement) + oil change I needed done on the phone TWO TIMES (was near holidays, wanted to be sure I could have car back before). When I went to pick up the car, I was informed that "we don't do bodywork, or the engine/transmission troubleshooting, but we changed your oil." At NO POINT over the phone did they tell me they would not even attempt to do the work I was describing. I did not get to drive home for the holidays and had to find a second shop.

I have been here a few times, as it is convenient to my work, and they have always impressed with the friendly, fast, efficient and inexpensive experience I have had here. I have an older car with high mileage and have had a few issues this year, they have always been courteous and do an excellent job with repairs.

I called this place to get prices on tires and todd the owner picked up and I told him what i was looking for studded snow tires and he was able to get the one I was looking for and had them in 24 hours and also his mechanic had me out of there in less then a hour and he did a great job I am very pleased with this company and there customer service.

if you want a mechanic that is going to be straight with you, fix what you need, and not rip you off this is the place to go they did great fast workand charged the actual price for the labor and parts without an insane markup. they will be who I take my car to from now on

Unlike other mechanics and garages in Hudson, these guys will only try to tell you what you actually need. They never add on items that you wouldn't know if you needed or not. Anyone who is in the least intimidated by how they are up-sold by other garages should check in here first.
