I took my car here for a new tire installation. When I got home and went to open the passenger side door on my car, it didn t open properly. And upon further inspection (visual of coarse), I saw that the right hand side of where my door opens was bent inwards. I own a near mint condition 2003 Subaru Forester, and now the door is destroyed because of the carelessness of this shop. Mistakes happen and are understandable;however, damaging a person s car and neglecting to tell them about it is not understandable. I didn t notice it until I went home and tried to open my passenger door. If you get work done here make sure you inspect your vehicle before driving it off of the lot - very important important :). In fact, I d recommend taking before and after pictures. A simple tire installation should not result in damage done to my vehicle, which leads me to suspect the damage might have been intentional. Do not come here. If they can t be trusted to do a basic tire installation, imagine the type of damage they could do dealing with your brakes, suspension parts engine fluids, etc. it s sad when a simple job can t be done properly. stay away for your own good. Don t make my mistake.

I made an appointment for an oil change, inspection, and to put my snow tires on. They told me it was going to be $1,808.00 plus taxes for my car to be fixed. They said I need rear coil springs and shocks for my suspension, a new battery and air filter. I went in for minimal items to be completed and was told it would be TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS?!! Absolutely ridiculous. I took it somewhere else the next day and they said my coils were fine, just some paint chipping off, but they were not broken at all. Without them being broken, how could I fail inspection? They stated it was a safety issue and took my inspection sticker off and would not give me a 10 day replacement sticker. Even more concerning, they gave me two documents- one stating I needed rear coil springs, the other stating front coil springs? Thank God I said no and got a second opinion. They passed my inspection and said none of those things were needed. They even questioned the documentation - one stating rear and one stating front end? They were clearly taking advantage of me as a woman and I am disgusted. I will never go back. How can you think that is okay? How is that your standard for service? To over charge? In healthcare if that happened, if a physician ordered extra tests or blood work - they would be fined and penalized for it. You should be as well. There should be laws against this. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Wait was long (2yr old toddler in tow) but professional mechanics. Diagnosed tire puncture 2screws too close together to plug, and worn sidewalk from running low pressure. Able to replace with similar tire.I did ask them to check remaining tire pressures before I picked up car, which they said they did, but pressure warning sign came on 60 miles later, so I returned; technician had not checked other tires pressure, nor restored the new pressures into the alert system. But second mechanic did check all 4, and reset the systemClick to Copy

This was my first time going to Monro and I had a great experience. Joe was an absolute pleasure to work with, he was kind, communicative, and knowledgeable. The prices seemed fair and I will definitely be back!!

Traveling through this area and had a flat tire. They were able to fit me in despite being full and did a great job with reasonable prices. Highly recommended and so grateful for their help. Really nice people.

I ve been to Monro twice. Once to have four tires on my VW Touareg replaced, and once for a routine oil change. Both experiences were excellent, and I feel I was given better service and much better prices than you get from the dealership.

We were referred to Monroe for a lightbulb change. Sounds simple but we had been turned down by 3 other businesses that could not complete the job. No problem for Mat at MonroeWe were out of the office in no time at all at a very competitive price. Go there. You won't regret it.

All my experiences at the Monro location in Hudson have been great they're quick, affordable, and capable. Joe in particular is super helpful, accommodating, and friendly; it's always a pleasure to deal with him when I have to go in for an oil change or other maintenance. I've always had a bias (perhaps unfair) against taking my car to chain service locations, but this one proved me wrong.

I don t generally rate businesses. But this Monro shop was just terrific. They explained what needed to be done, gave me a firm cost to accomplish the job and did it professionally while I waited. What a difference from other local repair shops. I ll be back!

I was there yesterday and not only did Joseph take great care of me, he put my mind at ease. As a woman coming to get her car fixed it can be scary. I was pleastly surprised with how well I was treated and how fair the bill was. I will now use your shop for all my automotive needs. Thanks again!

Absolutely amazing service! Called and was able to get an appointment the next day. They called before they did any work to let me know what was wrong and how much it was going to be. Excellent service. Would Absolutely recommend them. Front office was very nice! Thank you guys for a job well done!

I have been taking my 2 older cars to Monro on Fairview Ave for a couple of years. The front staff (Joe and Bill) have both been very helpful and pleasant. The work that was done on the cars was done well and took a reasonable amount of time. On the one or two times that I did have minor issues afterwards, they took me in right away and were able to address the issues very quickly. I am very happy to be a customer there.

I would recommend them every time.I've been using this location for over 20 years and have never had a complaint. Bill and Joe have always given me sound advice on what my car needs. Their techs always treat my car like their own. I never have to worry about whether or not the service is actually needed. If I come in for something and another issue is spotted. "You need to do this now" or "it's not a safety issue but you should do it in the next few months". Their recommendations, from repairs to the Monroe Credit Card for discounts and interest free payments have never been wrong.
