If i could give it zero stars i would but unfortunately it will not let me. Worst customer service experience ever ! First stole money then denied my service . Have fun with your 1-2 cars every 2 years.

I ve been going to Bobs since 2006. Always fair, honest and friendly. Don t understand people that don t use local merchants more.

The service here is great. Tom the owner and his employees are the most honest and fair mechanics I have come across. They provide quality service and have a lot of integrity in the work they do. I don't what one reviewer stated regarding the owner having guns, they are the sweetest people. I have a feeling that they got it confused with another place. Even their dog Summer is the sweetest gentlestest dog, I mean she literally greets people in the neighborhood.

I've been using Bob's Service Station for mechanical work for over 10 years. I find Tom, the owner, to be respectful, competent and honest. He will never recommend work that isn't needed (I've cross-checked with other mechanics), and charges a fair price for work performed. My experience is completely in line with an earlier review on this page that highlighted similar attributes, and gave a similar rating. I recommend Bob's Service Station (but really Tom's) to everybody.

One of those small businesses that are increasingly rare nowadays where the owners are honest and dependable and care more about doing the job right than squeezing the extra bucks out of you. Their service has made lifelong loyal customers out of my family - fully recommend

Trump Supporter owner of Bob's service station....(need I say more, ok I will)worst service I've ever had. This guy was nasty, angry, and kept adding extra charges. A job that was suppose to be about 100$ turned into a 400$+ job. Threatened to hold my car until I payed everything, charging me extra for every day my care was there. This guy will apparently do anything to take as much money as possible from you. His work was also sub-par and took extra long. A week long job was there for almost a month. Slow, bad service, nasty owner, pumps up prices without even telling you first. This guy is a rip off in every way shape and form. His other employees can't even look at you in the face after what he does. They were embarrassed. This isn't the first time, this is just the worst.

If I could give no stars, I would. I have been going to this station for years and trusted them with my life. Friday evening, I put my life in their hands and could have been killed. I went into the station twice in the same day for a tire light. The first time they put air and did not check to see if there was anything wrong with the tire. When I left work later the same evening, around 5:45pm, the light went on again so I went back. The nail in the tire was huge and impossible to miss, even in the dark. Knowing my drive home was about an hour on the Thruway Northbound, I was told it was safe to drive and to keep putting air in it. The nail came out and blew out the tire. I could've been killed. When I called the station the following Monday to let them know what happened, I was told "good enough then" and hung up on. Very sad I was treated this way as I trusted them completely. From what I have now learned, it would've taken less than 5 minutes to plug the tire.

Most helpful folks around! True story--my car died in nearby Dobbs Ferry yesterday. I called Tommy (at Bob's). He couldn't send someone, so he contacted a nearby service station. Within 15 minutes---after getting a jump---I was back on the road. This is just one of many times over the years that Tom (and Nancy) have made life a little easier for me and my family. Very grateful.

I moved from Hastings to Briarcliff Manor 2 years ago. I still bring my car to Bob's for service. They are friendly, reliable, accommodating and reasonably priced. They always go the extra step for their customers, and I have always felt I was in good hands with them. Plus I love their dog, Summer.

READ REVIEWS!!!! I took my car for an oil change. When I got it back the side button to move the driver seat was missing, when I ask them about it the owner started to get loud with me and told me to go look for it somewhere else. I used the button 5min before leaving my car there because my wife is smaller than me and I adjust the seat every morning. This is not how you treat your customers and you should take respomsability as a business owner of this kind of incidents, and at least apologize. Dont take your car there. The owner has a very nasty attitude and doenst know anything about winning new customers....or I should just say he just doesnt care. To bad I cant give them 0 stars.

I hope this guy is a better mechanic than a business man. He seems to be a bit of a chauvinist since he wouldnt shake my wife's hand, but had no problem shaking the hands of the two guys who came in to pick up their car. But the worst was: when my 5 year old son excitedly started telling him what was wrong with out car, Tom walked away telling us he doesn't deal with kids. When he finally came back, he started yelling at my son who hadn't said a word since Tom had stormed off and was quietly standing by my side. A bit later, we came across another family who had a completely similar experience with him in the past and don't use him either.

I work in Hastings on Hudson for 20 years. My office is a block away from this Station. On September 6th, I left my office to walk to my car on Maple Av. All at once it began lightning and thunder terribly. I became frightened, as I am recovering from a brain surgery, and sought shelter at the office of this gas station. I was approached by the owner who was extremely rude and asked me what I was doing. When I responded, I was frightened by the weather and needed shelter, he screamed asking me to get out and find shelter someplace else. I moved a little out of the door checking the sky, when his wife pushed me out from behind and told me they had things to do.Several things came to my mind:* Who treats people like that?* How could these people own a business across from church and be so cruel to others* Perhaps they need a lesson in kindness and humilityIf I had a choice I wouldn't even rate this station with one star ...They do not deserved

I was running out of gas, really fumes and the gps took me to this remote gas station. I couldn't find a nastier and angry manager. He claimed that he was closed and will not turn it on again just for me. There was no need for the anger or yelling. Just excuse your self and say sorry we are closed and there is another gas station a mile ahead.
