A kind person was able to get me into a mechanic to have my battery replaced. I was embarrassed of the shape my car was in and wanted to let someone know that i was aware of the maintenance that needed to be done but just needed the battery replaced and to not throw judgement at me, but when i tried to explain the owner cut me off. I tried to explain but he said no let me talk and then you can. he went in to say i m doing this as a favor for so and so and i told him to have you come in before 12 or after 1 and to call ahead so i could be ready for you but you didn t. yes i saw all that needs to be done to your car and all the lights on it inside i ve been doing this for 40 years but we don t have time to fix everything and you should be blessed that i m helping you today. i had to ask my one guy to cut his break later to take you now and on top of that i heard you coughing so now i m afraid you re gonna get us all sick. i m trying to cut in and no sir i was trying- but again he keeps going and says by talking about all your problems you re holding us up and wasting our time. we will get to you. meanwhile sit or go to dunkin donuts. i just froze, nodded and sat in the waiting room silently crying. i have NEVER been spoken to that way and that was completely inappropriate. i did bring in a gift card and donuts as they didn t charge me hardly anything for it and truly did not mean to inconvenience them while also writing a lovely message to the owner, but the matter i was spoken with was uncalled for and i will never go back to them recommended or not. not sure who s vagina hurt the owner, but you don t speak to women that way!

Knowledgeable team that you can trust. Not the cheapest, but certainly some of the most ethical and honest people I ve ever patronized. Great local shop!

Have been taking my car to the dealership for work (expensive) and thought I d try this place, closer to home. My car was inspected and passed at the dealership end of January and the notes they left for me to fix next visit were front brake pads were getting low and exhaust. I came here for the break pads and ended up getting charged $1,113!!!! First they said my brakes look fine but then they called back because they can t find my lug nut key to get in so they had to manually take a lug off each tire and replace them with regular lug nut. That cost $100 Then they said I needed to do front pads plus rotors and calipers?! They also told me it would be around $700 and when I went in the bill was $1,113 Just surprised a big money grab dealership wouldn t have put all that work in my inspection notes and made me fix it to pass inspection, it was less than 3 months ago. Also, labor cost is $128 hr here. All the lug nuts they replaced match except for one tire the silver ones are originals (photo added) not happy with that for a $100 lug nut job either

I love Townline. I've used them for about 10 years now. They are very respectful to me and my wife. Also they have a small waiting room and it is always clean. For a small garage you just don't find that. They are 30 min away but it's always worth the drive. They never tell you to fix things if it isn't broken like other places will. I simply can't see myself going anywhere else because they are very good at what they do.

I have been a "Gear Head" for over 50 years of my life. I went to Morrisvile Ag.&Tech for automotive Engineering/Repair I have repaired just about every component on my vehicles in this time period. In recent years, as I have aged, I'm not as enthusiastic about working on my own vehicles. What's a person too do? Well, I have known Brian for 15 years through my local church. I know him as honest, charitable and "God Centered" man. Long story short: I am very detail oriented when it comes to working on my everyday drivers and my Muscle Cars. I WILL NOT let just any "Joe Mechanic" work on them. Brian and his team at Townline are Exceptional!! Totally trust them with my babies and I have never had a problem that they couldn't solve along with giving me inexpensive options! These guys are the "A" Team!Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Wheel alignment, Air conditioning, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Small, family owned garage right in the heart of Honeoye Falls. I have been bringing my car there for years and they are always willing to help. They give you a detailed breakdown of what has to be done on your vehicle, but are not like most garages that are forceful in their sale. They are very fairly priced and have also done additional things on my vehicle free of charge. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Took my car in this morning for an inspection. I got a call from the garage and they told me I needed a tie rod replacement and new brakes. Well, considering I replaced the brakes a few months ago I know that's not true, and I replaced the tie rod when I got the car. I know what the car drives like when that's broken, I know the tie rod is fine. In the end, they tried to charge me over 700 bucks for brakes, a tie rod, and wipers. I'm sure they are going to try and take advantage of the new business now that Dana's Garage on Norton St is temporarily out. I'll be taking my car somewhere else from now on. Be careful people, don't let them get you.UPDATE:The next day I took my car to another garage for an inspection. They checked the tie rods and brakes and said all were fine. Townline was going to charge me over 700 bucks for things that didn't need to be replaced. What a scam, i'll never go there again and neither should you.

Not sure what all the good reviews are about, the two times I ve gone for an alignment my car came back the same way I took it in. The owner is cocky and doesn t give you a chance to even talk because he s too busy rambling on. I m not gonna pay $100 for my car to come out the same way I took it in. Not to mention the second time I went there with my other car they revved it into the garage and wasted my gas. Both the times I ve gone there they have taken their sweet ass time and let me sit and wait for half an hour after my car was done. Boyfriend went there as well and they wanted to charge him $213 for an alignment where his car just needed to be adjusted a little bit. I ll keep my business with Moyle and I ll continue to tell my friends to go somewhere else other than here. Maybe It s a hit or miss with this business or maybe they just like to treat the people that come to them with euro cars like we re stupid.

The staff here is better than any other shop I have been to. They always give you honest opinions and I never feel as if being taken advantage of. I call the shop anytime I have a question and they always pick up and help. Next time you need some work done on your car or truck give them a try.

I've been using Townline Garage for about 7 years now and would highly recommend them. They are accommodating, knowledgeable and I have never had to return for a reoccurring problem. Although I have moved across town now, I still continue to use Townline Garage.

Had a lug nut strip and I needed off to fix my wheel bearing. I called them up and they had me come right down. 10 minutes later they had it for me They charged me nothing! And saved me big time. I wouldn't hesitate to go here in the future.

Thank you so much for helping my Mom last week when the muffler on her truck fell and was dragging on the ground. She lives in Canadice and happened to be driving by your garage. She really appreciated you taking care of the muffler and your kindness.

We had new tires put on our Jeep by Townline and they never put anti-sieze on the lugs, so we went to change a tire and couldn't get the tire off. A professional shop would consider their customer and think "they could have to change this tire, let's make sure to do this right." As a result of this "oopsie" we had to torch off the studs and basically ruined our aluminum rim. Something so simple as applying applying anti-sieze to make sure their customer is safe in an emergency situation could have been avoided. Why? On another occasion: We had an alignment done (after purchasing new tires from Townline) the technician left the lower control arm loose. It seems it's mostly management issue, the technician on both of these occasions was doing two or three other jobs all at the same time. If your not receiving the tech's full attention you get costly mistakes like these.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Wife took car in for NYSI. Claimed horn didn t work ( common intermittent issue on make and model), any technician worth going to, knows the mk 3 Ford Focus (2012-2018) has faulty horn from factory( remove black plastic trim triangles and knock on horn fixture usually wakes it up making it function properly, and 2 tires didn t pass. In fact 1 tire was nearly out of spec, but still over the state safety minimum tread depth (2/32). Moving said tire to rear position from a drive wheel position (front) quickly rectified the so-called safety failure . Taking advantage of a brand new mom simply because she is a woman, with our newborn son in the NICU at strong, trying to scam $300+ for tires when they are not needed. Underhanded deceit,I held NYSI certificate from 1999-2016, laws may have changed as far as the safety specs but a non drive wheel tire(rear on a front drive car was always 2/32 to pass. My wife is vulnerable right now too! Shame on the both of you! There are more honorable ways to make money (legal too!) rather than trying to stereotypically prey upon women when dealing with anything vehicle related, be it purchasing a vehicle or regular mechanical maintenance that requires a shop or technician. These days many women know quite a bit more about cars and the value of the US Dollar, than back in the 50 s when they were viewed as their husbands domestic subordinates. In this case old school views are hindering society or rather aiding in the break down of society, family is at the core of ideal society, if a companies core structure isn t based around familiar ideology then I don t care to do business with that company, as there success will bring society closer to its downfall. Also it s just not cool. Treat everyone as if they are just as valuable and as intelligent as you are, cuz chances are, if this is how you wanna conduct business, then the women you target with this cr@p , are by far more competent than you are.
