We rented an rv. It s was clean but not deep cleaned. The bathroom wasn t clean, and the beds had leaves and debris on them. The showers in the main building with the store, the door knobs were broken so no privacy. The people working and other campers were very friendly!! My child cut their ankle on the gate to the pool and it has left a scar. I hope someone fixes it!

The website seemed promising, I entered everything asked for the reservations online, I also wrote "prefer wooded area". We drove the hour there, there was a very nice woman who greeted us but says we are at a site on the lake, she then looks at our camper and says " but it's mainly a tent site with water running threw it". Really? I informed her I filled everything out when we reserved, she says "oh, the lady doing reservations really doesn't know what she's doing". Great...can we have a wooded site cuz I'm not putting my trailer on a site with water running threw it. She had us follow a very nice man to 2 sites left in the wooded area. They were the smallest, most overgrown sites I've ever seen. It was terrible trying to get the trailer in, the road is narrow with drainage ditches on both sides and the driveway to the site was very narrow. Once in and all set up, we were not able to enjoy our site at all, the grass was too tall for us and our small dog. I definitely will not go back, it's unfortunate because their camp ground has great potential.

We are excited to announce that after over 40 years of ownership the original developer of Mountain Meadows Meadows has sold and as the new owners we are in high gear getting the awesome campground in shape! We have reviewed the comments of past experiences and hope to address many of the issues/concerns. We can't make everything perfect over night but if you are considering camping with us this year please know that Mountain Meadows is getting better by the minute.

Overpriced, caters to seasonal campers and it looks like they do what ever they want. The management here is not enforcing their own rules. Some of the seasonal sites in the woods are very well kept but most the lakeside sites are unkept with junk piles littering most. I am still wondering where all the gray and black water goes for the seasonal campers. They have no sewer connections here. Looks like most just spill their gray to the ground. Hopefully a service comes around to drain their black. Still looking for the large daily campsites. Leaving tomorrow and we ll never return. Heading back to the state parks where you get more than you pay for here.

Awful experience all around. For those weekenders who think that seasonal campers are somehow"favored"? You think that because you were treated so poorly. I WAS a seasonal camper, for ONE season. Believe me, seasonal is no better. Unsafe drinking water (No one drinks it. Bring your own) Poor management. Owners are Cheap and Greedy. Ridiculously Overpriced sites. Dirt roads, flooded iwith mud in Spring ( be sure to being your barn boots, the sites are flooded as well..Dust bowl all summer. ( leave the new car at home). Too many to list. We found a beautiful campground nearby for half the price. Don't just settle. There were 4 families (in addition to ours and others) who left at the same time we did. They were 3 generations of Mountain Meadows campers, each there for 9-12 seasons. The management and staff were the reasons they left. The aged owners unfortunately turn a blind eye to the mismanagement. Staying wasn't an option or worth the stress.

Pool was green the entire memorial day weekend. Roads are rough & full of holes & ruts. The sites are a joke! We couldn't back in cos of we did, our back end would have been up in the air on a berm. Had to pull in sideways.Their "beautiful dog park" as i was told, is full of dog poop! Hiking trails?? Hardly. Everything is overgrown In this place! The staff, while somewhat friendly, have no clue what's going on. None of us will ever go back & will never recommend this place.

Read the reviews! I just spent Memorial day weekend here with the wife. There should be a picture of this place next to the definition of "false advertising" in the dictionary. Nothing was as the brochure advertised. No beach at all, smallest site I have ever been in, (I have an 18 foot camper), hiking trail overgrown. Place is not kept up - overgrown, weeds, etc.... Caters to seasonal campers. Watched them driving nails into trees, kids ripping around on golf carts 100 times a day throwing up a ton of dust going nowhere... Never going back. Ben (the manager) was nice but that doesn't make up for the experience!

Lots of potential, unfortunately not realized. The lake is great for fishing, there is a decent playground for the kids and some open space to throw a ball or fly a kite. On the downside, the brochure describes large open sites and that turned out to not be the case... Mine turned out to be 1" of round stone over a very wet grassy base - I almost didn't get my camper out. The space was also the tightest I had ever been in, with less than 1 inch of clearance to the hitch of the next camper, and a mud pit on the awning side (no stone). We found the neighbors draining their gray water into our space, but being so low even when they shut that off it didn't help with the mud, which was everywhere. We were also disappointed with the customer service - we were promised to be next to 2 other families we were visiting with, but that did not happen. It is great to hang out with friends, but perhaps this is not the place to do it.

There were some minor issues for this campground but the major issue was the water. After being there three days, we went inside the lodge, which is closed most of the week, and found a sign, not in a spot most campers would have noticed (8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper) which said not to drink, cook or wash dishes in the park water. Think this should have been brought to our attention when we were checking in. This is a major health issue. I think they try to deceive people about their campground. There is also no internet (which is listed on their webpage) and only Verizon phone service.

What a craphole drove there to potentially reserve a site for the month of August omg disgusting at best.Frank maybe I'm spoiled do most of my camping in National Forests or VT,NH State Parks no amenities but CLEAN I am sure people are nice but the campground looked NOTHING like the pictures posted online. Also if you Google the mentioned places we camp they don't have electric hookups so say what you will we found the place in disrepair.

Camping labor day weekend 2016.For $50 a night I expect a clean upgraded campground. Instead, we drive into a place that is in disrepair and ungroomed. We felt like we had entered into the movie deliverance.Large sites..what a load of crap. TINY, UN LEVEL, AND UNABLE TO USE OUR AIR CONDITIONER!!Word of advise...many very nice campgrounds in New York, Stay Away from this one!!]
