Excellent service, and incredibly helpful. The workers here know what they re doing, and what good products to recommend. Came in with my own filter, and he recommended against, and gave me a better one that was less expensive than the one I had brought! Great people, and I hope they re getting extra pay for working the holiday (President s Day)

This location is closed (under construction). I'm not sure why Valvoline's website shows they're open, but that's probably preventing Google from accepting an update to mark this "Temporarily closed."If you're reading this in late 2022 or early 2023, save yourself a trip you're definitely not going to get an oil change here.

**warning** did not screw back the underneath cover properly. Found out few weeks later that it was dragging on the road and broken. Horrible mechanics. Make sure to check their work right after otherwise its too late. Will not leave the store before checking

Very kind folks. Waited on line. They explain everything they do. You don't have to get out of your car. Great process. I did the full synthetic oil change and I really noticed a difference when driving the car.

Usually good, but today we showed up with 12 minutes before closing and they told us they needed 15 minutes and couldn't stay past 6 even though they were going to take in another car. What great customer service and consideration that is! This company should really check in on their employees at this location.

Very helpful. Had 5 guys work on my oil change.. in and out in less than 10 mins. TIP: while your waiting, Google a coupon to use because they don't offer any special, despite coupons being promoted on their own website.

Have been to this and another nearby location many times with many cars. Fast and friendly service at competitive prices. Recently there was a mistake made but when I escalated to Valvoline corporate offices they resolved the issue promptly. Would not hesitate to use Valvoline again in the future.

I went early on a Sunday to get an oil change. That's exactly what I asked for, and exactly what I got. There were no attempts to sell me any products other than asking if I wanted synthetic or conventional oil. I was also shown the oil dipstick to confirm its level. No wait time, in and out in 15 minutes. It was not a bad experience at all!

They broke my car s glove box damper shaft when removing the glove box. They didn t even ask my permission to remove it. They also made the passenger seat very dirty. I will sue them. I m so angry right now.Update: I filed a claim I m going to meet them this Saturday. I will keep updating the review, and let anyone know about my claim.Update: I mate the manager on Saturday he explained to me where it was broken. And he will call me back about how they will proceed from here. I felt a little better because the manager was nice and professional not like that person worked on my car.Update: The manager ordered the part that was broken. And he replaceed it for me. I hope this never happen again.Update: after a month my engine oil start to leak. 2016 Subaru Forester. I took the car to the dealer. It turned the guy replacing the oil didn t tight it properly.

Valvoline is very convenient for oil changes and other services. No appointments necessary very little wait times. It's not know for brakes anything major. But they are good for what services they perform. You will save time.

We found a Groupon for oil change and used that. No hassle. They performed a maintenance check (part of the Groupon deal) and guided us on whatever else needed to be changed. Showed us each and every task performed as a before/after on how stuff looked. Pleased with the service. They add you to their system and send you an email for 15% off your next service.

Horrible service. Unprofessional employees. Their quote is 15 minute oil changes, I waited one hour. Once it becomes my turn their saying I can t assist you because we don t have your filter. Amazing customer service. Never again

I started frequenting Valvoline rather than the more ubiquitous Jiffy Lube after effective web marketing and a string of good experiences. Today's experience, while simple, went from good to great.I came in to have wipers installed that I'd purchased online for my year old Honda Civic. I was preparing myself for a bout of cross selling, ("we install wipers at no charge if you buy OUR wipers") or exuberant markups. Instead, the manager simply checked his book to ensure that they were the correct wipers, went out, and replaced them. He even added air to all four of my tires! When I asked him how much I owed, he just waved me off, begrudgingly accepting his well deserved tip.Kudos to them. Looking forward to my next oil change so I can have them service it. Exceeded my expectations today.

I absolutely love the customer service! This place is top-notch, a+ and it is the best oil change place that I've got gotten in and out and I've been to many places in the past 15 years and it's the best one and I will be surely need to come back a plus service

I highly recommend this shop! I went here on my lunch break for an oil change and they got me serviced and out of there in no time! I never had to leave my car and they walked me through everything they were doing. They really went above and beyond!

I would not under any circumstance bring your car to Valvoline in Hicksville. The individuals there push their engine flush product on almost everyone who comes in including myself. They prey upon the fears of the customer; that if they don't perform this treatment the car will have catastrophic engine problems. I heeded the advice of the alleged trained techs and instead of my car leaving like new, they seized my engine and pushed me out into the street and still charged me for the service. They claim my lack of maintenance was the issue. My car drove in there fine and after they serviced it the car was dead. I can't imagine jamming a screwdriver into the oil pan is an effective means of fixing any problem on a vehicle but that is exactly what the tech was doing when the manager brought me down to the bay to look at the oil. The cost to replace the engine was $5000, of which Valvoline offered $1900 and refused to budge off that number. If you want to lose out on $3100 and 3 weeks worth of time then definitely take your car to Valvoline, if you want quality service then take your car somewhere else.

The Hicksville Valvoline is by far the best Valvoline location the staff is great! They are honest and you really feel like they take care of your car like it was their own. I will only take my car to this Valvoline and I recommend this business to anyone.

Usually when I use a Groupon to get an oil change at other facilities I am not treated with care. That wasn't the case at valvoline in Hicksville. Jose and Jalen treated my car with professionalism and care, the same service I would have received not having a Groupon.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Offers convenient services. Just pull up and stay in your car and done oil was changed in minutes. They seem like they genuinely want to help when you ask them questions.

Just started using valvoline after seeing their advert and needed oil change urgently.No appointment needed and you dont have to come out of your car. Service was excellent.

I brought my VW Passat to Valvoline for a synthetic oil change. That was it. I drove home, and when I came out to my car 24 hours later there was a puddle of oil sitting underneath my car. I took it to a local shop and was told Valvoline forgot to replace the washer when they removed the plug. This is new level of incompetence, and I won't be back here again.
