This isn't a matter of impoliteness, as I never encountered any such issue. The real problem lies within poor time management and the dishonesty regarding timelines given to clients. I had an accident January 27th and was told my car will be ready by February 18th and it s now March 22th and I still don t have my car. I own an imported car and I fully comprehend the potential delays when waiting for a part. However, even after my part arrived 3-4 weeks ago, I am still without my car. I was told it ll ready last week, a week that has since passed. This week, I chose not to pester them until today, only to call for an update and learn that my car looking to be ready next week. It's unbelievable that it takes 3-4 weeks to paint a car, as that was the last update I received before today's call. I vow never to return to this place, and it's disheartening that Geico refers their customers here, fully aware of these issues from this place and with the combined timeline you have for Geico rental coverage, it s a no brainer the rental insurance will expire during the process causing you to invest more money into a rental that Geico doesn t want to give an extension on. It s all game and we legally getting extorted for money. Lord knows if I didn t need insurance I ll cancel Geico behind this nonsense as well. This entire month, I've been unable to work due to car issue and having to return the rental after exceeding the limit by 10 days didn t help neither because that too has become an expense. This body shop has done me no favors, and I'm certain they'll demand their deductible payment after already receiving nearly $13K for my car's repairs. I strongly discourage anyone from using this body shop. And I want to clarify again that my grievances are not about rudeness; their customer service was commendable. The issue lies in their poor time management and inability to provide accurate time lines. Clients appreciate transparency and without it, complaints are inevitable. Despite my multiple calls for updates, they should have been the ones reaching out, especially once a deadline had lapsed just to provide that feedback. This absence of communication and transparency is a significant issue in businesses today.

A must go if u want your car done right. They ve worked on a few of my cars. I ve sent my friends to them. They know what they re doing. Take my word this will be your shop for years to come. The type of shop u never want to need but are happy that you know is your go to.

I was recommended by Westbury Toyota to fix a broken tail light that someone hit & on 2021 Toyota Pryus Prime you must Remove the whole bumper as per the the guy I was talking & trust me after I saw it with my own eyes they did a great Job & I was a mechanic for 20 years in Levittown @ J&J Sunoco but I cannot fix cars any more so I brought it to Scrappy

They fixed a dent that my new car came with. Great job on dent! Only thing keeping me from giving them a 5 star rating, they got paint overspray on windshield and side windows

I had my Toyota for a while but I had never had an accident since I've been driving, in fact my driving record is good. One day I was driving on Old Country Road by a store called John's Farms. I was going at a moderate speed and I always check my mirror, I see this van coming quite fast behind me. It happened pretty fast because as I approached the light it was red but there were other cars that possible might have been going straight into John's farms and I would have collided with them either way by going past the red light. I was thinking I should have made a quick right turn even if I wasn't going there. Anyway, this kid was reading a map while he was driving his van, then hits my car. After the crash, my car rolled past the light and I was very scared and shaken. I turned into the next street, called a few people. I wasn't sure where I was going to take my car and then someone had recommended Scappy Auto Body. They took good care of my car, the whole back end was smashed in. They were very nice and when I got my car back, I was so happy with the results! It looked like it was never hit! I haven't had any major problems with it at all, I keep it maintained. Thanks to Scappy Auto Body, I was able to keep my car for many years!

Great experience. Customer service from all personnel at Scappy s was very friendly went beyond satisfaction. Was planning to sell my 05 Hyundai Tiburon GT, was involve in an accident. Long story short, finally got the car back, handles, drives and looks phenomenal. Change of plans on selling it NOT FOR SALE plan on keeping my car. Thank you Scappys. Definitely recommended.

Had my car brought there because they were affiliated with Geico and had the worst experience possible. A 3 week job turned into a 2 month nightmare. I was repeatedly told that my car would be ready end of the week, and when you call the day its supposed to be due they would make an excuse and say it should be ready the following week. After this happened several times i went in person and found that my car was not even close to being done. They offered no explanation and simply stated that it needs more time. The worst part about this place is that you will never ever get a call from them to update you on your car. After 2 months my car was still not fixed, I called Geico to have my car switched to a different autoshop. I was sent to Keri Coach Works, after one day I received a call that my car was ready. I could only blame myself for not going there in the first place. Its a very unprofessional operation and im surprised that Geico is affiliated with them. There are many shops in the area, all which are better than this one.

Horrible place. Save yourself a headache and don't go here. It took 1 month and a week to fix my husband's car to get fix . Which it was only supposed to take 16 days. After that our rental was up and the owner said he would pay for us to get another rental and of course that didn't happen. When it came to pay the bill the money came out of our pocket, because the insurance wouldn't cover it anymore. Horrible place and service!

I called for my son who is in college and locked himself out of his car. They went out and took care of him and allowed me to pay for the service from over here in NJ, it was a smooth process and my son said the technician was nice. Overall I was really happy they were able to help us. Thank you!

The body shop is so terrible. They lie all the time. My car doesn't repair for almost a month. But they say it will be done this week. The next time they say one more week again. Totally a month pass already I still can't pick up my car. I don't recommend this place to repair car.

first time I write something about a company. but in the face of so much abuse I see myself in the need to do it.1-more than a month to change the bumper of Toyota Corolla 20182-the parts are not put on correctly and are taking off3-I come to the workshop because the guarantee covers bad work4-on the first visit they look at the car and tell me that it's okay that they are going to take care of the problem5- When I get to leave the car they tell me that I have to pay more because the car is crashed6-two days of my work lost and there was no repair

I took my mother cardi told me it was going to take 2 week it took two month.nice people but they have tomaney cars waiting they do a good job if you willing to wait two month and making phone calls to see when they will have you're car ready.

Got my insurance estimate from the adjuster done here for a geico claim. The parking lot is completely jam packed and has a rediculous slope that you need to take at an angle or you'll damage the front end of a vehicle that is low to the ground. The reason i'm giving it 5 stars though is the employees. Always the people that are the most important part of any business and I like the people here.

The place is garbage. They didn t fix my car well and they wound up breaking the back piece in my trunk and didn t fix that either. Don t take your car there. It was a waste of time and money.

Unprofessional and slightly rude. Driver acted like I was inconveniencing him. Was told he couldn t tow me to my mechanic cause he had to go some where else. Towed me 100yrds so another tow company could come get me and charged me $108. Good luck if you get these guys to come help you out

they towed my vehicle without my permission. so now I went there to retrieve it. I asked if they could reduce my bill due to this inconvenience the guy told me to go f**k myself and called the cops because I wanted to give them 160 for a 190 bill. It's all I had didn't expect my bill to be more than a 100 for one say storage. Bob was a d**k then other old old Indian guy. I feel disrespected insulted. and the cops harassed me while brown noser was laughing with the unjust law. f**k scappy

Scappy picked me up in my Honda Accord from a collision I had on Th parkway- Towed me in, sttled my claim and repaired my car so well, I cant tell it was ever damaged. I highly recommend Scappy Auto Body in Hicksville.

Absolute garbage, pant peeling and motor parts rattling after 2 years. Replaced parts of my truck with junk yard materials. Avoid them.

HORRENDOUSLY, HORRIFYINGLY, HORRIBLY run outfit. We got rearended in traffic, brought our car there after being referred by Allstate, and were in for a nightmare ride, which ultimately ended up in a small claims judgement in our favor for a full refund of $1649. God bless the USA!!!! Do not go to crappy auto body associates ever.

Worst experience going there.please dnt waste ur time and money going there.he did incomplete estimate for my car.i had to call geico from 2nd estimate which was done at a different body shop.
