My experience here was just awful. They talked a great game, and I'm sure at some level of he dealership, maybe the owners, they do care, but that wasn't our experience. When we bought our used Forester, it was advertised as Certified Pre-owned. The website advertised it as such, the window sticker on the car advertised it as such, and there was even a license plate on the back that advertised it as such. We completed the purchase, handed over the money, and then were told, once we inquired about warranty paperwork, that "The pre-certification had run out three days earlier and they just had not gotten around to changing the advertising." That didn't feel good. To make matters worse, the check-engine light came on on the drive home. Again, they talked a great game; gave us a loaner, took the car in to look at it, etc. But then we started getting toll charges for the loaner car that weren't ours! Over $130 in tolls. They said that too was a mistake and they'd take care of it, but they haven't and it's been over three weeks. Maybe we'll get the toll money back some day, maybe not. Maybe if we sued them, they'd have to give us the pre-owned warranty, but its just not worth it. We won't be back to Grand Prix. Just be careful when you deal with them. They seem to have good reviews, but that was not our experience.

Just recently bought a pre-owned car here with the help of Phil. He was extremely patient in hearing requirements I deemed necessary and advocated on my behalf. Not only was he well versed in the mechanical understanding of Subarus, but he was a pleasure to speak and do business with! He has even done several follow up calls - which I find very valuable today! Would definitely recommend working with him and would love to do business with him again! We are so happy with our new car and the fantastic experience we had here!

Very disappointing my Subaru key fob batteries died after owning my Subaru for 5 years, after replacing batteries they did not work and Subaru Grand Prix is trying to charge me 250$ to reprogram the key fob. I was willing to consider this even though it feels egregious, until they wouldn t guarantee it will work after reprogramming because the keys are getting more complicated . I did not lose my keys and I purchased new batteries, this just feels very predatory towards some customers who would normally just pay and move on, I unfortunately cannot afford to waste 250$. This is the 3rd Subaru I ve owned, and sadly little issues like this could make it my last.

It s been a month since my husband and I purchased our new Subaru and I have to say we are as happy today as we were walking out the day with the new car. I wanted to wait before leaving this review to let the new car excitement fade away but I have to say that the team here was the best part of purchasing this car. We worked with Philip and Jason and they were both so professional, knowledgeable and honestly real people to talk to (it sounds weird to say that but we ve dealt with so many pushy sales people). They made the entire experience as easy as possible while giving us the time to explore the cars available and all of the options we had during the purchasing process. The safety and the features of the car is what brought us in but it s truly the staff here that will keep myself and my family coming back for years to come.

I bought a 2033 Subaru Outback and had an excellent experience with Grand Prix Subaru. My salesman, Philip Deitch, was fantastic, very knowledgeable and pleasant. It was really nice buying a car through him and Grand Prix. Straightforward, no tricks or back and forths with managers. Jenna, from the management team, was also very helpful. I fully recommend this dealership and Philip Deitch in particular!

I bought my Forester Sport Sept 2021. I specifically bought my car from this dealership not bc the salesman was pushy but because of the service department. The Jeep Renagade i traded in required service and Jeep s service was horrible. Grand Prix Service dept has never let me down! Not only do they have a drop off service that allows me to get my scheduled maintenance without having to rely on someone else, but they also have loaner cars.In particular, i would like to highlight the service i received from Mike Levine in July 2023. My car suddenly had check engine lights that lit up my dashboard hours before i was going to leave for the Jersey Shore on my 2 week vacation. I called Mike - he met w me immediately, he scheduled my service appointment and told me he could not verify that the car would be ready by the time i had to leave for vacation. I was devastated. Mike calmly took care of the situation by arranging for a loaner car. I verified (as i was shocked) that i could keep the loaner for the whole 2 weeks i would be away. Without his innovative thinking my vacation would have been ruined. Instead i got to drive a nice new Subaru to the beach.Most recently my cars audio system shorted out. Not only was Mike in able to get me a replacement in less than 2 weeks but he was also able to waive the deductible.Working with a salesperson is a one & done process. The true test of customer service resides with the dealerships ongoing relationship with the customer thru the service department. Grand Prix does it right!

I came in and purchased a new used Subaru Forester on Saturday. Nevin O'Garro made the whole process so easy. Never once did I feel like I was talking to a salesman. I felt like I was talking to a friend. He was very professional and helpful. He was very honest and upfront during the whole process which is something my husband and I really appreciated. Nevin was very friendly and made sure the whole process wasn't tedious. He was very nice and easy to talk to. Would Definitely buy another car here again and would definitely buy a car from Nevin. My husband said he is thinking about buying his next car here

Dan and the service staff did nice job keeping me updated on servicing of my car. Also we re helpful in providing valet service to get me to and from dealership after dropping off car with them. Work was done over 2 day period as dealership worked on recall issues as my car is a 2015 model. Dan was very helpful and available to discuss tests and work done on the car.

Been doing my research by going to different dealerships to explore my options. Having been to Grand Prix Subaru a few months prior I realized the Ascent was at the top of my list for my next vehicle. Decided to stop in again for another view of it.Was greeted by Eitan who offered assistance. I told him I didn t want to waste anyone s time because I knew I still had some time on my existing lease. He offered to have his appraiser take a look to see if there was anything that could be done if I was interested. I agreed and really didn t expect much.He brought Casey over who was running numbers for me to see if they can find a route to get me into an Ascent.Long story short, I am not the proud owner of a Subaru Ascent and couldn t be happier with this dealership.Both Eitan and Casey worked hard to find a deal that made sense and I would work best for me while not making me feel pressured. Both were very personable as were the other staff who stopped by to say hi to my toddler daughter. They offered her water, popcorn and crayons.This by far has been the best car buying experience I have ever had and I am grateful to both Eitan and Casey for going above and beyond to make me a deal I couldn t refuse.Thank you Eitan and Casey as well as all the staff at Grand Prix for welcoming me to the Subaru family.

Just picked up a 2024 Outback Wilderness. I have to say the experience went flawless. We were initially greeted by the sales manager, who introduced us to our salesperson, Eitan. He was awesome! Do not let his age fool you. He knows the business and was extremely professional. I felt like he was doing his best to make the entire experience a positive one. He did!I feel I received a fair price on the vehicle and their team worked with me to agree on terms that were favorable for both.We met with the finance person, Henry. Again, very professional, friendly and engaging! He also worked with us to make sure the deal we had was as good as it can be. My wife and I have owned four Subarus between us and there s a reason for that.Overall, a great experience from beginning to end!On a side note, I started my experience at Empire Subaru in Huntington. What a disaster! I have purchased 18 new vehicles in the past years and this was hands down the worst experience! The General Manager, Dave, was not only unprofessional, but extremely condescending as well! At one point, he actually threatened that he would refuse to allow me to service a vehicle that I didn t buy from him truly unheard of! I ended up walking away from a nearly done deal because of how unprofessional and rude they were. I could not recommend them to anyone

After a horrible experience at one Subaru dealer at one corner of Nassau, and a very nice experience at another dealer @the other end of the county, we were referred to Grand Prix Subaru by old friends who have always been happy Subaru owners.We had a great experience!Our sales associate Roy, a mild mannered, respectful, and really funny guy, was terrific to deal with. We had a variety of concerns which he and and his colleague Robert assisted us through. I sensed when he brought the more assertive manager over to help close the deal, the manager took his que from how we were responding to Robert and did not get too pushy with us. They got our business.It also helps that GrandPrix Subaru has a robust array of perks that are part of the deal for anyone getting a car from them. These became a significant motivation for us as well.We are hoping life with our new Subaru will be like their TV commercials We ll actually,I ll be over the moon as long as our new Subaru lives up to their stellar ratings on reliability and safety!

My family has been going to Grand Prix Subaru for years. Everything had been great from lease and purchase to maintenance service. And their VIP Program has been a life saver! However, most people don t leave reviews unless things go very wrong or very well, and I was no different until now.While everyone I ve worked with there over the years has been fantastic, I wanted to make the effort to commend their service advisor Dan Dengler. His assistance in facilitating my vehicle repair was exemplary, and he went above and beyond in his customer service. The whole process was very smooth and stress-free, which was a welcome respite. Thanks so much Dan and thanks Grand Prix Subaru!

Saw a beautiful car on line, then went to see it in person. I was assisted by Frank R. Super nice man. He was very easy to work with, and just wonderful to answer all of my questions. The atmosphere at Grand Prix Subaru is refreshingly low-key: no music blaring, no pushy salespeople breathing down your neck as you look about. The salesman I did deal with, Eitan, was well informed and answered all my questions, and his knowledge about the product led me to purchase one of the cars he let me test drive. Also pleasant is the calm atmosphere pervading the service division's waiting room: no T.V.s blaring, no loudspeakers paging employees, just ample space in which to read or do work. So voil�! -R. This was the first car I have ever purchased for myself. So naturally I was nervous and concerned that I would be taken advantage of. But from the moment I walked in I felt very comfortable. I was taken to the service area to wait for a sales person to become available and in there there was a verity of snacks as well as coffee or tea. Then when my sales person Andrew Ceris was available he was amazing and funny from the moment I met him. He was very personable and took his time to answer all of my questions and looked at as many cars as I needed. The staff at Grand Prix in Hicksville were just as amazing. All willing to help and answer any questions. I have already recommended this auto dealership to many people. You guys are the best!!! Thank you Andrew for all of your help.

We recently had a good experience at the Grand Prix Subaru dealership's service department.We had our 2018 Outback inspected and an oil service was performed, Dan who is our service department's representative was very helpful and polite in helping our needs being met. I feel very comfortable using our dealership's service department instead of an outside auto service shop.

I can t say enough wonderful things about Grand Prix Subaru! My first Subaru was recently totaled in an accident - I was not injured- the car saved me! I went back to Grand Prix to get another Subaru. Andrew - our salesman was honest knowledgeable and there every step of the way!! Grand Prix went out of their way to make this a seamless and positive experience. The whole team Sales Service and Financial are outstanding! I will not go anywhere else!
