I ve been coming here for over 6 years for the full service and competitive gas prices. I share great laughs with everyone and save a few extra cents on the dollar with their reward stamps. It s not always available for some reason but it comes and goes.

Will fail your inspection for any little thing went to my local valvoline where I get my oil changed and did not have any issues with my NYS inspection will use any excuse to fail your inspection and still charge you after failingFeel bad for the other mechanic helpers they don t know what a crook they work forSpanish guy who pumps gas and charges people upfront is very nice and friendly though

My boyfriend and I went to auto zone to change our battery. After the battery removal our car wouldn t start, the workers started saying it was the starter or alternator. We decided to take our car to a professional and went to Al. Al was responsive, knowledgeable, efficient, and extremely affordable. He was able to diagnose the issue in less than 10 minutes and thoroughly explained what was wrong with the car. First experience there but definitely not my last. DONT GO HEREI went to Al s One Stop Auto last 2 weeks ago and it s very bad. He was smoking and i have Asthma. He also failed me for one tire and that i need a new tire. I just came here for a New York Inspection. Not a tire change! I went to my local Goodyear and they said that i passed the inspection and you don t need new tires. He said report this to the DMV. I went back to Al s to get my money back. He showed me the tire and i said I m going to report that Goodyear. BUT UNO REVERSE CARD IM GOING TO REPORT AL S ONE STOP AUTODONT EVER GO HERE AGAIN

I have been to many car mechanics over the years and I have never met a more honest and outstanding auto mechanic. Al is the most genuine, nice guy and I have never met anyone with as much knowledge of cars. Any time I have had an issue over the years he has always fixed the problem efficiently and he is extremely reasonable in regards to the costs.You will never find a better auto mechanic.I recommend him with the highest regardsServices: Transmission, Tires, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

I have been getting my cars fixed here for years. I bought my 2011 Grand Cherokee there since it was backfiring and the check engine light went on. The SUV has 71k miles on it. I left it there and got a call back in 30 minutes from Al. He said the error code showed miss firing and it appears the coils needed replacing costing about $1,700. After discussion with Al I authorized the repair. In about 30 minutes Al called back and said he reviewed the last receipt for a tune-up on that vehicle. and saw I had them replaced during a full tune-up about 4 months prior. He said there will be no charge for this repair since he warranties his services.Wow amazing I do not know any other business owner that would have done that after I already authorized the repair.N

This guy Al is a joke check it out for yourselfI went to get my car inspected and he failed me for one barley bald tire and ripped off my old inspection idk y now I gotta drive around like this cause I work 8 am for the rest of the week thanks Al

My service at AL's was fine, I was quoted thousands of dollars in parts to pass my car for inspection at Mavis Tire down the road, Called BS on it. Went to get a second opinion on my car from Al, Explained my issues with the car from Mavis and asked him what he thought. He agreed that the car needed maintenance soon (tires and brakes) but was no where near failing inspection like Mavis Tire said and was able to safely pass my vehicle, He even let me look under my vehicle on the lift to show me around. I had no problems with his service it was quick efficient and honest.

Al s One Stop Auto is great !!! Al is extremely honest which is very hard to find in a mechanic. Where other places would have ripped off a woman going for automotive repairs, Al was extremely honest and fair. My car rides so much better since I have used Al s One Stop Auto. This shop was highly recommended to me by friends and family who will only go to Al to service their cars. Al is just a great man. He is there all the time and takes the time to look at every car before they leave his shop. He takes pride in his business. My experiences with Al and One Stop Auto have been great. His experience lets him quickly diagnose any issues, go directly to the source of the problem, and solve it. He gives you options based on your budget and he has kept me and my car safe for many years. So I came in for an inspection and failed due to safety. I didn t trust their opinion after online review and brought it to my normal shop who laughed that I even came here. Thankfully plainview auto care did the inspection for free due to the the ordeal I went through at this scummy place. Al is a nice guy but clearly is it in to make a couple extra bucks. The only reason I got the inspection was when I came in to get gas they refused to let me leave without an inspection since it was due at the end of the month. If you ever come here for anything other than gas make sure you pay on card that way when they scam you your credit card company will do the fighting to get your money back.

Al s one stop auto has been great to me. Always found the issue and fixed it in a timely manner for me and my family. When I needed a used car I was able to get a fair price on two cars over the years.Anytime I have an issue with a car for myself or my family Al is always available and fixing the issues at a fair cost. Many times I went to shops closer to my house and they wanted $800 or more for fixes. Al did it for a third of the cost for me and I have had no issues. This guy knows what he is doing.

I went today for my car annual inspection. I filled anti freeze and wind washer liquid one week before. The guy said my car needs both of those and wipers. That is terribly lie. The wipers are good and I checked before I went for inspection.It seems that the guy teared left blade two inches and asked to replace. I know those blades are good and denied. The he failed my inspection. I never go to place again.After few hours I wrote above review, they called my mobile and left abusive message.

Went here on a Friday at 3 pm. Asked when they could do an inspection oil change and tire rotation. Al said he could do it today and leave it. Sure enough, at 4:30 he called and said it was ready. Fast and reliable and honest.

Im usually not the type of person to leave bad reviews about a business due to minor concerns. But what i experienced needs to be addressed. I noticed tht my tire pressure sign was on and a nail was stuck inside the tire. Since I was on my way to an event all I requested was air to be filled in and a patch to be placed where the pin was. The worker filled my tire with air and then proceeded to demand $189 w/o tax to change my tire and he also claimed that my other tire also needed to be replaced. I insisted that i did not want my tires to be replaced and only wanted a patch to be placed. When i refused the service he repeatedly called me cheap and continued to treat me very disrespectfully. He then took out all the air from my tire and lost the tire air cap. He then yelled at me to get out and slammed the shutter down in my face. I was left outside in the rain with a flat tire.I called AAA and they told me that my tires did not need to be replaced and simply a patch and air was enough.No business is ever allowed to treat people so badly. AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!Service: Tires

Been going to Al's for years, made the mistake of going to pep boys while he was on vacation for a catalytic converter they didn't install it properly and left out bolts luckily Al was able to fix the problem. STAY AWAY Friends of mine just went here for and inspection the guy first thing scrapes the sticker off the windshield (which was still good for another week) then he tells them they need brakes and it's going to be 570+$ and he can't pass them without doing it. They didn't have the money to do it so he told the guy just give me the car back I'll go somewhere else then the guy says he can't he already took off the old one so he ends up passing them anyway on top of that he told them he it was low on coolant so he topped it off. He sure did in both the windshield washer fluid and coolant and even put the wrong red dexcool in with the orange dexcool and totally lied about the brakes. I had to use a fluid evacuator to drain and rinse the windshield fluid reservoir and now they have to go to another mechanic to flush out the coolant system. They also didn't need brakes no even close to needing brakes see pictures

Al's customer service was excellent, with the work being completed on time, exactly as Al stated.The work was very well done. I have absolutely no complaints about the work or the estimate, which was adhered to. There were no 'surprise' costs.On a personal side, Al made me feel welcome, and always stayed in communication with me as the car was worked on.Thank you, Al, and my wife and I will continue to bring our three vehicles to you, in the future.

Went to get the oil changed. After the oil change car took a long time to start. I thought may be it's because of the oil but then it didn't pick up the speed. I was pressing the accelerator but my speed reached max upto 40 miles. Went back to him. He didnt take the responsibility and tild me there is something wrong with the car engine. Now I am waiting for my car to be towed.Worst experience of my life.Service: Oil change

Went for a simple oil change 2 days later I drove down my street and my engine starting knocking and seized. When I got out to look I saw an oil trail from where I drove off. Had the car looked at and Als auto never put the O ring in oil filter causing all the oil to drain out and seize my engine. Went to him he Denys it when I have proof I guess I have to open a lawsuit because he refused to do anything and cursed me out. Very unprofessional and just an ignorant person. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY. Never in my life have I seen a shop do an oil change and mess up the easiest thing to destroy my vehicle. I have many photos to prove what he did and video of him telling me off with profanity. THIS PLACE DESERVES NO STARS BUT UNFORTUNATELY I WAS FORCED TO PUT ONE!!

Sometimes people like to degrade a business to blame when that business has done nothing wrong!You should be honest in your reviews! I had my car on the same time as this persons bad review and he is very untruthful!SMH!Als one stop is the best! Love this place! Honest, reliable! Man knows his stuff. Was able to diagnose and fix my car while I waited. When I picked up my car with my dad had all the parts to show my father what he repaired. Instead of paying $37 for NYS inspection I spent $856 .I came for an inspection and the Owner AL told me he wasn't going to pass my inspection if I didn't change brakes and filter. He quoted me $456 and I agreed , he later charged me $856 without explaining the additional charges , apparently it was 413 for labor. My biggest mistake was trusting him & signing off on the charge without looking at the receipt before. He took advantage of the fact I was a women w/ no knowledge of cars. My car is a 2014 Honda CRV and the only thing the car needed was new breaks and the inspection. Al threaten me to do all these services for no reason just to charge me more money. Please do yourself a favor and DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE , HE WILL REAP YOU OFF!!!!

Came here to get a New York State inspection done waited about 20 minutes then the owner came and told me I needed to get my wipers replaced, washer fluid, needed to rotate my tires and get them balanced, my rear brakes needed to be replaced. Needless to say he failed my inspection! Two months ago I took my car into another shop to get an oil change done and they checked the entire car for any additional work that needs to be done and none of these issues came up that Al failed my inspection for. THIS PLACE IS A HUGE RIPOFF!!! If you value your time and money go elsewhere.

Anyone who says this repair shop is not EXECELLENT, and worth every penny, is completely insane and out of their minds. I had my car randomly checked at this location one day after just simply driving by and noticing it. I picked up my daughter from work, drove by Al's shop while heading to the highway and decided (let me stop in and see). Tired of being ripped off by so many other repair shops, I decided to test Al's shop. I didn't tell him anything was wrong with my car when he asked. All I said was the check engine light is on (knowing that I had over $4,000.00 in repairs I needed serviced). Al ran a full check on my care FREE OF CHARGE (which is like $100.00 or more else where). Al figured out ALL the repairs I needed done (then showed me repairs I clearly ignored). I took Al's itemized repair break down list and left him thinking I had even more information now, and tried the same tactic with about 4 other repair shops. I was quoted for prices ranging from $5,000.00 to as much as $8,000.00, on a used 2007 with over 200k miles. Al ended up charging me only $3,500.00, guaranteed his work and parts for 1-2years (depending on level of service and parts covered), and what would normally take a week or more to complete, Al and his crew somehow pulled this off in ONE DAY. Al called me every step of the way to and didn't ask for NO ADDITIONAL MONEY at all... Al wanted me to know step-by-step what was going on. WHO DOES THAT NOW A DAYS AND NOT ASK FOR EXTRA MONEY?) The repair service included but not limited too; All Sensors, Alignment, Full tune-up; Shocks, Struts (front and back), Rotors, Brakes, Electrical, steering pump, AC, welding, tires, man if I can show you the list on this paper.. It was so much stuff on this receipt that he couldn't even fit it all. THERE IS NO ONE ELSE I AM TRUSING MY CAR WITH. MAKE NO MISTAKES. YOU WONT FIND A BETTER SERVICE PROVIDER THEN AL AND HIS CREW. His slogan lives up to it (If he cant fix it, IT CAN NOT BE FIXED).
