I have never left a 5 star review for a car dealership before but Chris Tempesta at Advantage Hyundai made my experience so easy, fast and pleasant I have to give everyone there 5 stars. I had lost my car in a flood a few days before. Chris found me the exact car I wanted in the color, gorgeous interior etc. Came to an agreement on a price I could afford and picked up the SUV 3 days later at my convenience. In and out in about an hour as opposed to my past experiences where I literally spent the entire day haggling at a dealership. No games, no surprises. Recommend this dealership if you are looking for a Hyundai. I am in love with my new Tuscon!

They blame the customer for all issues they cannot resolve. The Hyundai techs they call out are no better. Repeated battery issue and this dealership refused to change battery for 3+ weeks. AAA was embarrassed every time they came to jump me and I told them Hyundai wouldn t address my battery and just change it. 4 times they had to come jump me.Advantage did not listen to me and repeatedly listed I had aftermarket products in my car causing the battery to drain, it was my key fob, it was my sticker..This was false as I never have and never do run any power items while vehicle is off. You would think this would prompt them to check the electrics or center console. No. After keeping my car one last time for 2 weeks they finally experienced the battery die while nothing was plugged in. Did they state this in their report? No, Still stating aftermarket products and this flood battery was installed at port Will the new battery actually solve my issue or is there an electronic problem with the car? Who knows. Hyundai could care less this dealership made their service notes to suit their narrative. When you disagree at the service desk on what is listed i m told that s what the mechanic says No matter what I said and when I said it, they kept listing aftermarket products so they could pathetically make sense of something they could not understand. They changed the battery after multiple weeks of me returning and being inconvenienced. Hyundai Headquarters will also repeatedly state these dealerships are independently owned so that they can detach from any distasteful behavior the dealership engages in, such as my experience. Absolutely disgusted and taken advantage of much like their name. Any time you call for service they seem to be trained to inform you they re very busy. Obviously having to feebly fix the garbage products they sell. I wanted this car because it suited all my needs but I will be getting rid of this car because customer service failed on meeting all and any of my needs in a very short period of time.

I brought my car in for its first oil change. Hyundai representative Josephine Buccheri was very professional, courteous and helpful. She took care of all the paperwork, listened to all my concerns and had me in and out efficiently. The best part was that I didn't have to pay a dime since it's all under warranty. It's been a long time since I had a new car and I'm loving every minute of it!

The service appoint for recalls was quick which was great but I was completely unhappy with the fact the dealership took it upon them self to service the car (which is was NOT due for). They changed the oil, filters, tire rotation and inspection without even getting my permission when I just paid a good amount of money to have this done 4 weeks ago. If they checked the sticker in the windshield or look at the oil life gauge in the dash they would know it was just done. I would appreciate a phone call asking if I needed this done instead of taking it upon themselves.

My experience for my first service on my 2024 Hyundai Tucson at Advantage Hyundai was seamless and such a breeze! From the greeting and hospitality from Keith upon my arrival, to a comfy waiting lounge where I was able to work while I waited, I was greatly satisfied. Service so far has been 10/10!!!

Just picked up my new vehicle this past Saturday. The overall experience was delightful. From the first time I spoke with Rob, till driving off with my vehicle, Rob was attentive, helpful and informative.The dealership was very clean and the entire staff were very pleasant. I highly recommend this dealership, and that you ask for Rob. He s trustworthy and will look out for your best interest.

The dealership has been a pleasure in most ways. The only issue I experience is trying to get a service appointment when I need it and have available time off. The specific service advisor I am assigned to needs some training in customer service compared to the others I see with their customers and when I speak to someone about those issues I was told I can go to any dealership rather than the issue be acknowledged or addressed.

I had a great experience at Advantage Hyundai. It was very clean and inviting. Our salesman, Chris Tempesta, was very knowledgeable and made the leasing process very easy. He was friendly and professional. I would definitely go back there to work with him again. He was very thorough and I am very satisfied.

My Ionic 5 was serviced for a recall. Since the service my dynamic cruise control and lane control does not function at all. I m told I can t get an appointment for 3 weeks because the car is still drivable.

I am so in love with my Hyundai Tucson from Advantage Hyundai! Besides a great and helpful staff, the dealership is absolutely beautiful!I m very happy I was able to work with Chris. He got me the exact car I wanted at ease and went over all the amazing car features with me. He is dedicated and committed to making his clients happy. Chris is the type of person you want to do business with!Javier in financing explained everything very clearly and got me in and out so I could drive my car off the lot.Thank you for everything Advantage Hyundai! This place fits the typical dealership/salesman stereotype and this has been by far the worst experience we ve ever had in purchasing a new vehicle. If you enjoy the experience of being deceived and taken advantage of then this is the place for you! They are not upfront and forthcoming and you will find out in the eleventh hour what you are actually paying for the vehicle. They appear to be nice and polite but do not be fooled! Be prepared and do not expect transparency. They are quick to upcharge you and take your money but can t even competently provide you the basic dealer prep service that you paid for. All said and done, they actually represented the name of their dealership very well as we clearly felt we were taken Advantage of. Live and learn but we definitely will not be purchasing our next vehicle from here.

I had an amazing experience. My tire kept losing air because evidently I ran over two nails. The dealer took my car in immediately and had a new tire put on my car by the next morning. They also ordered and paid for me to get an uber back and forth from the dealership while they worked on my car. The staff was pleasant and professional. I am glad I purchased my car from Advantage Hyundai.

I paid way more than I was told for my car service. When I drop off my car I was told that my bill was a total of $180 but after waiting for the service, I was presented with a $608 bill with no explanations whatsoever. For a car that is rarely driven that was a surprising final bill.

I bought my first car at Advantage Hyundai. The overall process was MUCH easier than I d ever imagine. Charlie was incredible and helped me with every little detail. He was able to find me the exact vehicle I wanted in less than a day. I suggest everyone give Charlie a call! Preston finished the financial side with a breeze. Being a young female and looking for a car isn t necessarily easy, I was taken advantage of and given rates and prices that were incredibly over the top before I came to Advantage Hyundai. Preston gave me his honest opinion and I left getting the best deal I could get. I had lots of questions for him and he answered all of them with complete honesty. Jon was also extremely helpful. He manages a fantastic dealership and makes sure his clients are well taken care of. If I could recommend any dealership on Long Island, this is the place!

I had my engine replaced here. This is the first time I have ever owned a vehicle and first time I had service done on it. My service advisor was Patrick. He was helpful and nice. When I went to pick my vehicle up and return the loaner, I went on a Sunday. I had checked the hours before I went and it said 11-5 online. Unbeknownst to me, the service center was closed on Sundays but the dealership side remained open. When I walked in I was approached by a sales associate, Steve. He was extremely rude and condescending. He told me laughed at me and told me, It is common sense that service is closed on Sundays. All Hyundai service centers across America are closed on Sundays. What, is this your first time picking up a vehicle? I explained to him it was. He laughed at me again and walked away saying, Well I don t know how to help you then. I was truly stunned that he had spoken to me the way he did. There was no need to be so rude and demeaning. I then went to the dealership side to speak to someone about what happened, and asked them to pull Steve from the floor so I can speak to him. He denied laughing at me. The next day, I also followed up with one of the managers. I was told, Oh Steve is very nice just a little rough around the edges. I really hope something is done to rectify Steve s poor customer service skills, for the sake of other customers who lack the experience and knowledge of getting service done on their vehicles. Truly such a disheartening experience.

I want to start off with saying that I hate making reviews about places. However this one is for people to see that besides the poor and rude costumer service from the service department , there is poor management as well. I took my car specifically for an Oil change, however they called me 2 hours later to tell me that I was due for a tire rotation and that a worker crashed my car. Regardless who's at fault in this crash I was never offered anything, not even a free car wash, not even a formal apology from management.The others guys insurance paid to fix the car from the dealer. It took over 3 weeks to get my car back. Advantage hyundai took my car to their own peoples bodyshop, First the paint didn't matched, then the whole damage wasn't even fixed. It's ridiculous how they deal with things. Unprofessional. All i got was a card in my car saying thanks for your service with a piece of chocolate. I called next day to speak to a manager and told him how they did me so wrong. I was planning to buy my palisade after lease and now i cant because its been in a crash. He sais he didnt know the whole story. They need to hire better management and better service agents. They need toco.municate better among themselves. They have to ask customers for approvals and stick to do specific services. How I go for oil change and I get a crashed car ? I was nice enough to take my car and leave. But I want people to be aware and don't use this horrible dealer.

This place was a nightmare, very unprofessional and unreliable, if you care about your car and your time then this is not the place for you, they scratched my car, I dropped off my car 3 times to them to have it repaired and with them having my car for the entire day, all I come back to at the end of the day is excuses as to why the job never got done,I got there with my HUD working just fine, It needed to be replaced and they replaced it with a faulty HUD and still had the auto ask me to pay for their part that was not working, when they finally got around fixing my car, they left wires hanging out, very unprofessional

I am happy to recommend Advantage Hyundai for all of your car sales, and maintenance needs. I had self diagnosed Dealer-phobia before purchasing my beautiful Hyundai Sante Fe Limited, with the help of my phenomenal sales agent Henry Jenkins, a couple of weeks ago, but Henry and the entire staff far exceeded my expectations. I know that I got the best deal for me, and felt comfortable driving off the lot. I have already shared my experience with family and friends and really won't allow them to use any other dealership ( If I can help it !! lol )

I was not happy with my visit on 2/24/2024. I was there for an oil change & tire rotation. I told Erin my filter was recently replaced after my last oil change by my bf who was a dealer mechanic for 25 years. She said the filter had to be changed at the time of the oil change. Preceeded to tell me they couldn't do the oil change without changing the filter too. Then she had the nerve to tell me she was changing the filter too. I was charged for the filter & labor! Will never go there again for anything. Erin needs to come off her high horse!

Poor communication and miss information. Had my 1st scheduled oil change, which I was told by the salesmen when I bought the car that it ll be free every 7500 miles for 3 years.The two ladies (esp the younger one) that sit on the left corner of the service desk weren t super nice about the mix up information. They were annoyed with me even though a Hyundai salesmen told me this (I even showed them my texts with the salesmen as proof and even called the guy) but they didn t want to hear or see it. Very abrupt and unprofessional.What made things worse is while I was waiting I did not hear a response from Josephine about my car after 2 hrs of waiting. So I texted the number provided and she said she called and left me a voicemail, which is false as I have nothing in my call logs.

Great service from start to finishBrought my car in because it was hard starting and it felt like the transmission was skipping and it took less than a half hour to figure out that it was the crankshaft sensor and the job was done right away quick and easy and I got out of there right away it was great service Right from the beginning sat around for couple of minutes before they contacted me to let me know what was wrong and I would definitely recommend.
