The Assistant Manager, George MacIntyre, provided me with excellent customer service. I needed some immediate assistance with my SUV. He did not hesitate to go above and beyond to make sure that I left the store being able to drive away without any issues with my car battery. He even helped me out with my windshield wipers. I would definitely come back to this store and recommend it to others! Thank you so much, George.

The prices are reasonable and they have been in the neighborhood for years.They always have the items that I need for my car, whether it s cleaning supplies or for an oil change.They have excellent knowledge staff and they provide great customer service.Today, Alfonso helped me with selecting the best options for what I needed. George was very professional and was able to make sure I got the right bulb for the right turn signal. He even tried to install it but because of the location, he couldn't. He gave great suggestions of mechanics that could service my car in the area. Great service.

I am not knowledgeable when it comes to my car. I was so happy and appreciative of the service, attention and patience from the assistant manager George. I purchased the parts I needed and was given a breakdown on how to change the part myself and what to look out for in the future. I would recommend this store for any ladies looking for assistance but afraid to ask or unsure of what to ask for.

I was having an issue getting a battery replaced under warranty at the Levittown location, but this location was able to get everything sorted out quickly. All the workers were polite and helped greatly.

Sanique was amazingly helpful when I went to your location. It was my first time going to the store and she diligently helped me to look for what I was looking for. When she found out they were out stock, she went out of her way to call another store to ensure they have it before sending me. We were grateful for all of her help and were amazed by her service.

I went this afternoon to the store around 1pm and ask a a woman cashier in front for a all windshield wipers for my car.She s described the design and the number I needed when I went to pay for the wipers I asked her are these for all my windows.She then rudely answer me that I didn t say that. And we just sold the last one for my back window wiper.So then I asked her are there any stores in Brooklyn that has any back window wipers she immediately said that she s doesn t have access for others stores only in Long Island I m like what.,Very rude and unprofessional salesperson in front of the store hire new staff because apparently she s isn t good enough..

No stars !! I went on 4/15 at 1:30pm the manager that was there didnt have a name tag . There was 4 employees working behind the register and when asked manager for help there was 0 customer service. The store wasnt even busy. Entire staff was useless and no help at all!! I would not recommend coming here !! Another customer was asking for help and she was completely ignored!! Employees like this is a representation of your business !!!

I purchase life time brakes from Auto Zone in 2020. However since my purchase I never had any problems with receiving replacement brakes. On 04-25-2023 at approximately 10:44 am I went to the cathedral Ave, Hempstead Ny location and the salesman was very obnoxious. Salesman had the nerve to tell me he was the manger. I have never experienced such rude behavior at a Auto Zone location in my life! The salesman needs better customer service skills and better understanding that you are never to speak to customers in a rude manner.I will never patronize that location again.

I was on the phone for over 40 minutes placed on hold multiple times. They said that there was a line but the first two times they placed me on hold they placed the phone on the counter and I could hear them talking fooling around laughing. When I made a complaint to the manager she told me that they have customers although I expressed I am a customer as well and have been waiting for 40 minutes she told me to look up the corporate number on my own. I've been an AutoZone customer for nearly 20 years, through numerous vehicles. AutoZone overall are well stocked car parts stores. For the most part, the prices are on the lower end compared to local competition. Locations seem to be laid out the same (aisles, counters, parts, etc) no matter where you go. Parking is always ample. Some parts carry an AutoZone lifetime guarantee. I've saved hundreds if not thousands of dollars with this. Brake pads, wires, etc. Batteries used to have 5 year warranties but I only see 3 years. Although the prices are competitive, if you are a Costco or bjs member, you can likely get a way better deal.Although I've been a customer for a long time, autozone still has its drawbacks. In an age where there are self checkouts everywhere, autozone has a system of typically having 2 or 3 people at the registers doing double duty. This means in addition to ringing you up for something you pulled off the shelf, they look up parts numbers, get parts, some go outside to look at your car. Don't get me wrong, this is great customer service, but depending on the day and the customers, the line has potential to move very slowly. You can walk in, grab a light bulb off the shelf and still have to wait 15 minutes or so to get out.Getting back to the lifetime guarantee. For sure it's terrific! However, the employees who enter your information initially seem to have issues. I have had the unfortunate experiences of them saying that they don't have my warranty in the computer. At times I've had the parts and they say, we know that's ours (duralast), but can't find your warranty. They have also looked through my information and found vehicles I never owned in my file, which tells me there is someone else out there that they can't find their warranty because I have it. This is the only company I've experienced something like this with, and it's been numerous times. I now try to keep my parts receipts, which is annoying as sometimes it's years before you need it.Most auto zones will offer some free services, like a free battery install or check engine diagnostics. These are some of the customer service functions that cost other shoppers time, but still, a great feature. Most auto zones also have a feature to borrow specialty tools.Typically shelves are well stocked and neat. This store is fairly clean as well although it does show its age a bit. Parking lots tend to be on the messy side as customers can be slobs.After all this time, I'm still a customer, but for some parts I'll now go to different businesses. AutoZone has been in my life because of the amount of locations and proximity.

The service there is terrible as always, sadly. The store needs more trained employees with experience especially when it comes to car parts! The checkout lines are terrible. More employees are needed in that store! I see there's a help wanted sign, I hope that the store finds the proper help that it needs especially with this ongoing pandemic we are in. Is scary walking into a store that has a long waiting line without practicing social distance. The store is small. Therefore, social distance is hard to do.

I went in to see if I needed oil for my cat, which is a relatively new used car. The sales guy took what I told him and deduced that I didn't need oil. So, I came away better informed and without having had to spend a dime, as they say. Very Satisfied!

Waited 40+ minutes to be next in line to be helped when a female customer came in and the cashier was so eager to help her he forgot about me. I politely pointed out I was waiting. He said he'd be right with me. Another 20+ minutes went by of him flirting with her and finally I was able to buy windshield wipers and have them installed after an hour of standing and waiting in AutoZone

I informed the cashier I'm here to return a product. She proceeded to take the item out my hand and ask me what's wrong with it. I just told her I no longer need it. Talk about good communication between worker and customer. I was asked to go on another line to complete my return. There was no money to give me a full return. The cashier had the nerve to ask me do I have $3. What am I suppose to refund myself? I looked at her like she had 3 heads. I left with a full refund.

I went to this AutoZone in Hempstead on Saturday 5/10/23 they have the worst customer service ever ... very rude cashier or may have been the manager but one thing I do no, I'll will take my business to Advance Auto.

Almost all the employees hide in the back and leave 2 clueless employees in the front. They also have 1 line so people who just need to run in grab something and go has to wait with the people who have in dept questions that could take a while. I would avoid if you need a grab and go item.

Went in the store for some auto detailing products on a sunday late after noon as soon as i got in the store i knew something wasnt right because there was a line to the back. Anyway i figured id browse around and the line would be shorter by the time i came back to the front the line had not moved. They only had 2 people working the cash register and they were also answering the phone and helping customers look things up this led to waiting 20min just so i could purchase my 2 items i came in for. Meanwhile another staff member came in 15min early to her shift and they were telling her she cant clock in 15min early. What type of buisness are these people running here customers lined up and they cant ring people up on a timely fashion. Very bad service here
