I just left Advance auto parts and was helped by Rohan who was very knowledgeable and polite. I highly suggest you ask for him when you go he gives great customer service and very professional.

Good luck going there with your kid staffs are unprofessional uses nothing but profanity in front of customers. You place an order paid just to find out it was never placed. I never go on any site to make complaints but that store definitely earned my time in doing so.

I was purchasing a battery for my car that comes with a 3 year warranty. When I realized after looking at the receipt and examining the sticker on the battery, it said that the warranty began in 2020; it is 2021. When I wanted to fix the mistake, The employee verbally abused me and I could see that the situation might become physical. The employee's name was David G, he screamed at me and told me to "shut up." The situation escalated so much that David needed to be removed from the front of the store.The problem got this far when I had noticed a mistake he made, which was not putting my name in the system. Also, the GM Karen Schneider was not very helpful and had an attitude with me. I remained respectful until I felt verbally threatened by David G., Karen did not help much, she asked me if I "wanted to fix the situation or leave" when clearly, after spending almost $200 all I wanted to do was resolve the situation.

The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. They always offer to help me carry my heavy items to the car. Very easy and accessible location. If they don't have what you need. They can order it or find a location that has it for you.

Corry Jonas is phenomenal. He is the assistant General Manager and was taking care of 20 customers by himself. He only had 2 trainees in the store while trying to do a defective exchange for me. The part was originally purchased by a commercial auto shop in Queens that did an alternator job for me. Despite the fact that the districts were different and he was having computer problems he called the original store in Jackson Heights, verified the purchase, and helped me with the exchange. I would have to take public transportation to Queens which would have cost me 4 hours of transportation and another day of work effectively costing a financial crisis to provide for my family. Words cannot express my gratitude. Thank you Advance Auto Parts. Auto Zone would have never given me that service.

I went to advance auto for the free battery test & installation if needed today. I told the rep Rohan that I would like to get that service, but instead he charged me for the battery then proceeded to install it. He obviously sold me the most expensive one for the car the Dir Hard Gold Battery (group size 35, 640 CCA). He never checked my old battery. After installing it the car would not start, so he used a battery pack to boost the new battery which then started! I then turned the car off & all the nights were flickering like the battery was dead. There was another person there telling Rohan that it might be my alternator & that I needed to get that fixed. Being a girl who didn't know better, I drove out the lot & was 30 seconds down the street when the car completely shut off & I had to steer it to the side. It wouldn't start at all not even the hazard lights. I had a battery boost pack that I plugged in & was able to get some power. I then went back to the store to demanded my money back or a new battery as this seemed to be the issue. I called my brother who had them perform the load check which they should've done first & replace that new battery with another one. Once Rohan did that my car started right away. I'll let you know tomorrow or later this week if it lasts as the warranty states 3 years. Rohan was nice but I shouldn t have to demand a new battery if that one was dead from sitting on the shelf. Never going back to Advance Auto Parts! Horrible experience.

Billy was very moody, i got my things happen to know aloot about my bmw, but the one brand peak makes various, by mistake took the asian but wsopped it after he charged, listen billy just scan the first one remove the first one is simple, the customer doesnt need the attitude when they trying to not even be a bother to the workers that aren't eager to help

Most of The workers in there are not very motivated to help customers and not knowledgeableabout cars at all. I been there few times and once it was to buy a battery for my car and the guy was like he does not know the kinda battery my car uses and that my 09 fx 35 have two kinda battery and he asked if i have a smart key and i said well its uses a key fob to start help dtart it so i guess thats a smart key. and he was like well he is not sure if it is. So i was like well how would it not be and he was like i dont know if it is or not. So i got fed up and said fine i will try somewhere else which i did and got my battery the same day from autozone.

I will never order online and pick up in store from this store location anymore. They always wait till you get there to pull the order. Why order online and pick up in store and after the order is ready email, you still stand in line and then wait for someone to actually pull the items. At the store in baldwin ny

Did not have a good experience at this advance auto parts. My car battery would not start 4 times this week and. When I told the worker Manuel . He said he could not come outside to check my battery because it was dark outside. It was a waste of time and I came all the way from Queens. This is not good customer service.
