Every time I walk into Joe's, I'm always greeted with a smile and quick hello from Jim. He definitely makes the nuance of car repair, cause let's face it, no one actually wants to go the repair shop, friendlier. Speaking of friendly, Joe's is dog friendly! I was able to sit in the waiting room with my (people and pet friendly) dog while my car was being worked on. Definitely a bonus! Thanks Joe's for making one of my least favorite things a positive experience.

I feel bad for anyone who takes their car here. Joes seems relatively innocent but they are a shady shop that overcharges their customers and can't promise the job will be done right. Two times I have taken my truck for problems I didn't have time to fix. The first time, they charged me for everything including brake cleaner, then on top of that, that replaced another part that I didn't authorize them to replace cause it was in working condition. I gave them a second chance, took my truck here for my power steering rack the second time. They told me a pressure line and the pump were broken and that I didn't need to fix the rack. The rack was definitely broken, however I let them replace the pump and line too. After the repairs took two days compared to the one day they talked about, they overcharged me on parts again, I got the old pump and line back, and both were perfectly fine. When I confronted them about this, they only agreed to give me a refund for the pump. They still charged me for the overcharged pressure line and the labor time for parts that didn't need to be fixed. To avoid this, take your car to mikes village auto. It may take a day or two to get your car in the shop, but Mike is an honest guy and has very fair prices. Especially compared to these clowns. You wallet and vechile will thank you to not come here

Joe's auto service has always been able to diagnose any car trouble I come to them with with a quick response time. They also offer services for towing and driving you to and from their shop if needed due to car maintenance.

The team at Joe s Auto Service are extremely friendly, honest, and welcoming. They also offer complimentary beverages and have a TV to keep customers refreshed and entertained. The service is quick, and their inspections are done thoroughly to ensure that your vehicle is safe to drive. I came in right at the end of the day, needing an oil change with nowhere else open.The staff was incredibly friendly and they got me in right away. I was taken care of quickly, and the whole process was a breeze.

My husband passed suddenly about a month ago, and I needed help with his Ford F150. Joe and his crew were able to assist me and my family during this difficult time. We are so grateful for their kindness, compassion, and support. Would highly recommend Joe s auto service

First time here at Joe s and have nothing bad to say. Got my tires, alignment and brakes done. Honest and fair priced work, good price on the tires too. I also held the guy in a little bit past their closing time and he was very cool and understanding about me inconveniencing him. Overall, no complaints at all!

Adding on to previous review... Again, excellent, very friendly service. Treated me like I've been going there for years, but it was only my second time.Just noticed they filled my windshield washer fluid while doing NYS inspection yesterday. Didn't have to do that! Above and beyond :) Thank you.Helped me out in a pinch, very accommodating!! Quick & friendly service. We will be back. Thank you!!!

Jim and his team bend over backwards to make sure the job is done right and at a good price. They have serviced 5 of my families cars over the years. I currently have a BMW M550i and don't hesitate to bring it there. They have done a complete brake job and a rack and pinion assembly with zero issues on this high performance sport sedan. I have no problem getting an appointment and the car is always ready same day. I highly recommend them.

Took great care of my 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet 5-Speed model it hit a hydrant they fixed it and it looked like new. it lasted as the car drove to California where we bought the car. Great job.

Extremely disorganized! I got Into an accident during a snow storm and this was the company the cops had pull me out. Expect the run around on collecting your items out of your own vehicle if you work during their lot hours . Storage is $40 a day and if you leave your car for a week that totals to $280 but their math means $350. If you question this they say your insurance is covering it and paying so why s it matter. When I had Geico come tow my vehicle to another collision shop they tried to tell geico they didn t have my vehicle. Save yourself the headache! I highly recommend Carstar for any collision issues! They re organized, provide excellent customer service and will send you updates on your vehicle instead of letting the bill add up and tell you your car will be there for a few months.

We were headed through town on our way to see family the shield on our car came apart stopped at Joes and they were able to get us in a get it fixed for us in no time. Customer service was excellent a great garage would recommend them to anyone

Came here for the first time for my state inspection. So glad I chose Joe's! The team was so great. Welcoming and helpful. The inspection was done quickly and so was the maintenance I needed (new brakes) in order to pass. Incredibly fair priced too. There's a waiting room stocked with beverages and snacks if you choose to wait. If you leave, they offer complimentary rides. Plus, when service is complete you get a goody bag! Will definitely be using the again.Service: Brakes

I brought my car and in for what I thought would be just an AC repair and possibly a heat shield. They ended up finding a lot more issues than I imagined. I needed breaks, wheel bearings, heat shield, ac repair, a ball joint, and had a missing caliper pin. So as you can imagine, the subtotal was going to be much more than I anticipated. As my car had many miles on it I had been thinking about trading it in already. Rather than having my car fixed, I ultimately decided to hold off on repairs and trade in my vehicle. Joe's Auto service was totally understanding and I was not charged for any of the work they had put in to see what needed done. They also had a free shuttle and was able to take me home after dropping my car off. I really appreciate their time that they put into my car and being as understanding as they were. From what I know, most shops charge to even look at your vehicle. I will think of them in the future if I need any repairs. Also they had a very friendly dog in the front office. Just another added plus!

Won t be back. The cost of doing business with them is substantially more than other mechanics in the local area and I called around asking for estimates for the same work which confirmed.Told them how unhappy I was about my most recent service after giving them a 2nd chance. I never received a call back after speaking to their manager and being told I ll be hearing from them on Monday (spoke to her on a Saturday).I would seriously consider shopping around the south towns before going to them. They wanted $1400 for brakes all the way around. I said, respectfully, I will get a 2nd opinion on the work. 2 other local shops came in at around $1000. When I told them thank you but I ll get the work done elsewhere they somehow magically came down to match the price and asked me to stay as a customer. I can t imagine just how much they re overcharging for the exact same work as everyone else. Avoid them and shop elsewhere.

I just moved back to the area after 15 year and needed my vehicle inspected but had a few lights on the dashboard.After discussing my concerns and listening to his insight, I was able to make an educated decision about my next step with my vehicle, which is at this point to purchase a better car.When I find a vehicle that will be replacing my current jalopy, I will be bring it to Joe s Auto for a once over to ensure my purchase is one that will last me for years.

Joe's Auto came thru for us again. I have used them for many years as needed for my place of Employment. They have always helped us quickly and always gave us great service and prices.We also personally use them and trust them with our own vehicles as well. The staff from Jim and Paige to Joe himself...everyone is pleasant and helpful. Thank you all!

I had an inspection today and had two bulbs out. One tail light and one license plate light. They charged me $45 in labor for each bulb. It took all of 10 min to change both bulbs. They tried to make it sound like it was a difficult job.

Just an Incredible experience - Lisa / Jim - Great People - Great Service !!!!I called and made an appointment for my inspection and Lisa was upfront and honest giving a timeframe of what to expect on the date of the inspection and the why behind the timeframe - places just don t do this they say it will be done shortly and shortly could be who knows how long, which then leads to frustration !!!!upfront and honest is what she was and I really valued and appreciated her !!!! :)Jim was top notch and advised of a few concerns and his recommendations were exactly what was needed to fix my vehicle - very down to earth - fun and knew his stuff !!!The positive energy and communication here was just incredible and this interaction was amazingThank you Lisa and Jim

There's a reason they offer the cheapest oil change in town. Carelessly overfilled the oil, leading to further hassle for me to get it fixed, and the mechanic hacked up the drain plug nut so much I could barely get if off and had to replace entire part. Very dissatisfied and will never trust Joe's auto with my car again!!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Joes auto is the place for all your car repairs if you want them done right the first time. The staff is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable on all things that could and do go wrong with our precious vehicles. They respect our cars and our time. I highly recommend giving them a chance and I assure you won t regret it and will be a lifelong customer.

Dishonest shop. Knew I was in a tight spot, tried to force me into approving work that wasn't needed. Parts listed more than double retail costs for same items. Their mechanics are the slowest on earth or that was inflated too. Also didn't want me to take my vehicle until next day. Instead of their $2300 repair bill went somewhere honest and paid $375. Runs perfect now!

I went in before my vacation and they did a bunch of stuff also saying I needed my strouts done 1600 when every other place in town is 800. Took to another shop and said struts are perfectly fine. But they tightened bolts that were loose... interesting noise didn't not start until getting back from joes auto. Steer clear. Shop is a joke

Honest. I wondered if my car needed an alignment. Joe's Auto Service checked and showed me a print out that the alignment was fine. They could have easily told me it did and charge me, but they didn't. They were honest. I've been going to them for 5 years and recommend them to others.

Joe s Auto Service saved our vacation in northern New York. We needed a total rebuild of part of the vehicle and they were able to deliver in a timely manner and for less than the estimate they gave us. The service was great, and they were able to give us updates throughout the repair. If we re ever in need in Hamburg again, we know who to see!

40 minutes to do an oil change, ridiculous, biggest issue was being lied to, called to set an appointment, guy told me 59 dollars. Was mailed a ten dollar off coupon. So I was planning to pay around 50 dollars. When I was paying told me the coupon was already taken off, then I received the bill for 65 dollars with tax, because they charge 70 for an oil change. so was lied to by the guy on the phone, or they just send out useless coupons. Either way Can't imagine taking any vehicle here for any repairs or work done , also just got my car inspected by ray laks Honda a month ago and gentleman was saying my air filter has a little dirt in it we can change it out for 50 bucks, "really "and my tie rod could use replacement, screaming a "scam "!!!!!Just save your money and go else where

I needed to get both of my cars inspected. My older one needed quite a few things done, I wasn t comfortable getting all of it done because I knew I had to bring in my other car next and wasn t sure if any issues were going to be with my next car as well. Jim walked me through and was willing to work with me on a plan both of us were comfortable with for now. I was thankful for the honesty. I had no problems with car b so I brought back car A. I made an appointment and the car was done same day! Thrilled with the service and price for the work done.
