Good experience, as others have said, no rude attitude. The guides were helpful and spot on. Little training or instructions before start could have helped. The machines were old but worked fine, the views across the loop were good. Definitely worth the $55 spent..Could consider decreasing the ticket price for 2 members on 1 machine..

Lmaaseh it s a great spot. Are snowmobiles brand new? No. Are the bathrooms clean? No. Are the employees smiley and chirpy? No. But you get a great ride, with an amazing view. Once you get into the woods you feel like your somewhere deep in Alaska. Truly amazing!Only downside is that since it s first come first serve, you may end up needing to wait a bit for your ride to start. Then again I ll take that over needing to make a non refundable reservation 3months in advance .

The experience was 5 definitely!(LHS) : I was scared about the reviewsBut we take the risk and we loved.Mike was a great tour guide I am not sure why there are so many bad & negative reviews.But maybe your experience is different!

Was a little skeptical with all the reviews..... question was it a little rough?? Yes was the bathroom not so pretty? Yes was the two and a half hour ride long? Yes ....will I do it again next week? Heck yeah!!! did I enjoy myself ?? yes had a great time say hello to Mr Mike see you in 2 weeks

The customer service is really bad and it looks like the employees don't even care about the safety of their customers, and the place is really bad for people who just started driving a snowmobile for the first time since all the tutorial you get is an 20 second tutorial on how to control the machine. Plus the fact that you can crash into tree or something else is so high it's literally dangerous for your life and if you crash the first thing the guide would say isn't if you are ok but he would actually just check the snowmobile and would be mad at you if you damaged it, while in the tutorial there wasn't any info on how to avoid these situations. Tip for Owner: IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GIVE PEOPLE A TRULY GOOD EXPERIENCE THEN YOU SHOULD TAKE THE FEEDBACK FROM THE CUSTOMERS INSTEAD OF JUST SAYING THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO BREAK YOUR SNOWMOBILES, PLUS IF YOU WONDER WHY PEOPLE CRASH, THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD DO A BETTER JOB MAKING TUTORIALS LIKE WHAT TO DO TO AVOID CRASHING.

Rip Van Winkle ATV was an absolute nightmare. The equipment was ancient and falling apart, with rusted parts and engines that sputtered more than they roared. The trails were a disaster, littered with obstacles and barely recognizable paths, leading to more frustration than fun. The staff were clueless and unprofessional, showing no concern for safety or customer satisfaction. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this sorry excuse for an ATV experience.

ATVing fell short of expectations; the noise and environmental impact were significant drawbacks. The trails lacked variety, making the experience monotonous. Safety concerns and limited scenic views added to the overall disappointment what a horrible place womp womp

I had a great time here today.. I was skeptical because of the previous reviews but I can say I m glad I took the chance.. I went here with 4 other ppl for my cousins bday and it was amazing .. each person (adult) paid $55 for 30 min ride before going you had to make sure you have a drivers license and a debit or credit card to put on file just in case of any damage to the equipment.. if you do not have a drivers license you cannot drive ur own bike but u can go on the back of someone else s but you still have to pay the $55 The person I dealt with name is mike and he was very friendly and went over everything we needed to do n what not to do.. thanks for the amazing experience mike

This place is awesome! Mike was a great tour guide so I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Definitely recommend going if you are in the area.

I was not interested after reading the negative reviews but friends convinced me to try it since it was just $55 and to my surprise this was a fantastic experience.Mike was awesome, he knows very well how to keep everyone safe, and have a wonderful experience out there. We rented 6 ATVs and they all worked perfectly fine.I would highly recommend this activity if you are in the area.

My girlfriend and I had a great time! Great price, great equipment, and the trails were fun. Will come back for the snow vehicles. Ask for Mike!

I recently visited with a group of friends, hoping for an enjoyable day of adventure. However, I must say that our experience was nothing short of terrible. From start to finish, we encountered numerous issues that left us deeply disappointed.First and foremost, the customer service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, displaying a lack of professionalism that was both frustrating and off-putting. It felt as though we were just another group of customers to them, rather than valued individuals seeking a positive experience.Furthermore, the condition of the ATVs was far from satisfactory. The vehicles we were provided with were clearly worn-out and poorly maintained. They showed signs of significant wear and tear, and some even had functional problems. This not only affected our safety but also hindered our ability to enjoy the activity to its fullest.Additionally, the overall organization and management of the rental facility were severely lacking. We encountered unnecessary delays in the check-in process, and the equipment allocation was disorganized, leading to further frustration and wasted time. It seemed as though the staff were ill-prepared to handle the volume of customers, resulting in a chaotic and inefficient environment.In conclusion, I cannot recommend rip van winkle ranch based on my experience. The lackluster customer service, subpar equipment condition, and poor organization made it an incredibly disappointing and frustrating outing. I strongly advise anyone considering renting ATVs to explore alternative options that prioritize customer satisfaction and safety.

This morning we spur of the moment decided to stop in and see if we could take an ATV tour. Mike took us right away and brought us on an amazing tour. He went above and beyond and even stopped to take pictures of us. It quickly became our favorite part of our weekend away at the Catskills. HIGHLY recommend stopping by and seeing Mike!!!

Went with a group of friends and the snowmobiles were fine but it turned dangerous when we went to use the restroom after our trip. The set up was certainly far from clean and a hole opened up in the floor from us simply walking on it ... pretty scary. No apology or anything done to make up for a less-than-ideal conclusion to our time there.

Highly recommend you check this spot out.Super cool vibe and very exciting trail with enough challenges for the skilled but plenty of stretches to build your confidence with. Mike was the man . I repeat MIKE WAS THE MAN! It s spots like this that make travelling with my wife unique exciting and new every time.

The ride is made for two year olds, and the attitude they give you it s not even worth for a one year old. Worst attitude I ve ever seen do not go there. Trust me. I will never come back. All you get there is bad attitude and terrible costumer service! Safety does not exist in this place. If you wanna spend time with your family and friend this is the wrong place my friend.I drove 2 hours to this place and that's heppend, all my friends are upset at me for bringing them and have this disscuting experience.DO NOT GO THERE!!!

The owners of scumbag provides horrible housing four people involved with DSS where he gets a guarantee check whether or not the people have a nice place to live lots of roaches and bugs and an icy parking lot where someone sooner or later is going to get hurt and he makes tenants sign a waiver that he doesn't get sued so he never has to fix it
