We were there over Labor Day weekend 2023, and the park was busy. That being said,we enjoyed our trip. They kids did ceramic painting and tie -dye shirts, and they loved the playground. The pool area was a hit. They have a little convenience store and snack / arcade building. Our cabin was fine and it worked for our family. My only complaint of the entire weekend was that I would have liked our cabin floors and fans to have been cleaned prior to us coming. Our fans had an excessive coating of at least an inch of dust on them, and the kids' feet were almost black by running around inside the cabin. Yes, I would recommend the park, and yes, I would return because overall, my children enjoyed their time there.

We love going to Jellystone Parks. We ve been to three different locations so far. We recently visited Birchwood acres with a number of our close friends and, overall, had a great time. The location is beautiful. Check in was very quick which was surprising as other locations we ve visited took forever. Parking at the main office/store was very limited. So check in time was a little crazy in that area. Our cabin was in a nice, wooded spot and had a nice large deck. The interior needed some work and had an old, musty smell. We visited the pool on several occasions. The large upper pool looked absolutely beautiful but we were quite surprised how frigidly cold it was. The Pool Attendant (no lifeguards) told us that the heater was broken. Speaking of lifeguards, there are staff members at the pool and the water zone. Their shirts say Pool Attendant and it didn t seem as if they were certified lifeguards. One of the pool attendants sat in a shaded area looking at his phone for almost the entire time we spent at the pool that day.The water zone, which was supposed to be the big deal for the 9 kids who were with us was a bit underwhelming as many of the water features didn t work. The public bathrooms by the pool were very much in need of a deep cleaning. On our last day, we watched our neighbors pack up and leave and a golf cart with two housekeepers show up. They got out of their cart, did not take ANY cleaning supplies with them and spent probably two minutes in the cabin before they locked the door and left. That was very concerning to see at the end of our stay. There s an expectation of cleanliness when you rent a hotel room or a cabin.Lastly, this really isn t the fault of anyone in particular, but be aware that the lake, arcade and snack bar are across a public road. SOME cars slow down as they pass the campground, others were flying down this road. As much as we wanted to give our older kids freedom to explore, this part worked us.Rooms: Some cabins are old and dated. From what we saw, they are not cleaned between uses.Safety: Pool safety is a concern as there are no lifeguards at the large upper pool, or the water zone.

We just left the campground and we were so sad to leave! From the front desk attendants, to the activity coordinator, lifeguards, and bathroom attendants, everyone is so friendly and pleasant. The grounds are well kept, bathrooms are clean (as long as guests clean up after themselves, shame to say some do not) but this campground definitely goes above and beyond to make sure our stay was a great one. My kids loved the water park and jumping pillow as well as the cool activities planned throughout the day! Until next time Yogi!!!! We will most definitely be going back!

The staff at the check in / store are very nice and it is a true kids haven. 2 years ago it was 4 stars when we tent camped. The facilities were cleaned & mopped constantly. This time we rented a premier cabin and it wasn t cleaned. They sent someone to mop it out when we told them which was nice) but they didn t do anything more. The shower curtain stunk, toilet was gross, any and all towel bars and hooks were completely ripped out and missing. The loft wasn t vacuumed. Counters were dirty and deck had sticky patches from last guest. There s nothing in the unit where we could do anything but sweep. No mop, bucket or vacuum. It s obvious that the cleaning staff and the pool lifeguards don t want to do their jobs (not even watching kids in pool just on their phone) The bathrooms by the pool and playground were gross. Very different experience from last visit.

We absolutely loved our first experience at this camp ground. The first night we did rustic camping. Meaning we used our tent and all equipment. For the rustic site we had access to a water spout, and electrical outlets. The bathrooms were a comfortable walk up some stairs, and were very clean and well kept. The tent sites had a gorgeous view of the lake. It was quiet, peaceful and absolutely beautiful.Due to nobody's fault, the temperatures dipped very low that first night and we had to upgrade to a rustic cabin. It was a very easy process, and the lady that worked the reception desk was very lovely and helpful. When we got to our little cabin it was spotless and warm. We had our own bedding from the first night so we were very happy to be warm and comfortable for the rest of our stay. We enjoyed the little water park with the pool and hot tub. We had a blast with the bounce pillow. We very much enjoyed walking around and enjoying the beautiful pathways around the woods. The arcade is small but very cute, and everything worked nicely. We got to enjoy a pizza on a gorgeous deck overlooking the lake. I've perhaps overused the word beautiful, but it really does suit our experience here.

Great place to stay for kids under 11 years old. Lodge was alright but it need some minor work on it. Such as the metal net needed repair to keep out bugs and water is kinda yellow when look closely. I brought water to cook and drink instead as well and I aldo used the BBQ grill outside.Rooms: Rooms are ok.Nearby activities: You can swim, play tennis, basketball, boat peddle and etc.Safety: No one bothers which is good.Walkability: I leaved 3 nights in thr lodge in the middle which is walkable to the ranger office as well to the other activities.

I rated this park last year with all 5 stars. Unfortunately, this year, I can't do that. I typically give 5 stars to any place that shows a little effort in hospitality, Jellystone Park at Brichwood Acres is no different. A great place. However, here is the issue. I booked 4 cabins and a tent site approximately back in April 2023, paid in full. About 13 days before we were scheduled, one family in the group had to cancel. I called immediately and asked to cancel, I was told no at first. I called again and was told the manager would make a one-time exception and refund 20%. These cabins are not cheap. I understand there are rules, and they should be adhered to. I also know that there are times when rules can be overridden to make accommodations. I explained that I was still renting 3 cabins and a tent site, but it didn't seem to mean anything. Again, great place, great facilities and grounds. I just feel there could have been more effort on customer service and satisfaction.Walkability: Lay out is great, general store/reception, pool and activities all in easy walking distance

First time camping here, nice tent site and nice amenities. Bathrooms weren't cleaned enough and any sort of quiet hours were not enforced, very noisy at night time with people blasting music and driving through on golf carts. Seemed like staff was no where to be found. Also, thought it was odd that the pool didn't have a lifeguard as it was very full and very rowdy. Love Yogi Bear campgrounds, not sure I would return to this one. A few Yogi Bear activities throughout stay but they could have done better. "Yogi's goodbye" on our last day consisted of Yogi riding on a golf cart through the camp ground at like 20 mph

I would say overall it was a good trip..the facilities could use some updating as everything seams to be showing wear and tear and overuse..we booked a rv site which was nice size and clean and hookups worked with no issues..the pools and water areas were pretty cold! My kids love water and even on an 80+ degree day I could see the purple lips..as they stated they were heated they clearly weren't..now if they were heated and things were just maintained a bit more then it would of been 5 star.. overall we did enjoy ourselves nice friendly staff and other vacationers..the so called stocked pond is tiny and wasn't stocked with anything but seaweed. For the price we all expected more. So if you do go don't plan on any fishing and wait til July to use the water as it was closer to 60 than 70.. also it is very hilly so don't expects kids to be able to ride bikes up and down the hills..

We came here with an RV for camping. Overall we had a nice time. The grounds were well kept and the staff was friendly. The kids had a blast at the Waterpark and the pools. The area is very remote however. There was only one super market nearby that was catered mostly to the Jewish community. You have to drive a bit further 17 minutes or so to get to a Shoprite. Wifi was very spotty. Overall a decent place

This is the first time we have came since new management. I definitely have to say this new management has cleaned Jellystone up. There are so many improvements in the park. Jim was awesome at check in and had great customer service and Jonathan was wonderful to work with as well. Everything was neat and clean! We have reservations for July and can t wait to come back. Keep up the excellent work Blue Water Resort!

First time there and we had a great time! The pool and water area was a huge hit for the kids. Sadly it seemed like alot of the activities didn't seem to go according to plan like musical chairs at the pool with Yogi. He just came for a visit and left, no game played but the kids still enjoyed seeing him. And there was supposed to be staff driving around for a water blast thing and they never came our way. Kids were bummed there. They were all ready with their water guns and no one came by sadly. From a parents point of view it was annoying some of the water park things didn't work at all, like the cannon blaster and a few of the sprinklers you'd hit/pull the lever and nothing would happen. Kids didn't mind but would have been nice to have the whole thing running properly especially for our first visit.Cabins were comfortable even though our queen sheet didn't fit the queen bed at all which was odd but it was nice the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and what not so you could cook in the kitchen. Also the golf carts were definitely nice to get from 1 place to another without having to get in the hot car. All the staff we encountered we extremely friendly, even just driving on the golf carts they would wave to you.All said and done we did have a great trip and made some great new memories. We will definitely be back next year!

I'm not sure how I personally feel about the place, it's a campground I'm an adult plain and simple. However, my kids and all the kids that were with them we're having the time of their lives. Whether they were at the waterpark, on the lake in one of those pedal boats, bring up and down in the balloon room which is just a huge bounce house. It's easy to get to the people there that run the place or easy to deal with and getting to see my family that stays there part-time was a blessing.

Amenities are okay; there's a small waterpark for the children and a tennis court as well as a basketball court. There were other activities available like laser tag, ceramic painting, and an arcade, but they were only open for 30 mins. So we had to rush.It is an okay weekend activity because it is not too far but it was a little too crowded for our liking.Rooms: We stayed in one of the cabins here. The cabins were a good size; it could accommodate about 6 people. It had 1 full bed and 2 bunk beds, although bunk beds were small - kid size.Safety: a group of kids threw a firecracker in the restroom while we were there. That part was not okay.

The nicest campground with the nicest people! We recently stayed here for the first time. The entire family had a blast! Every staff member was so incredibly kind and accommodating. They made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. We didn t wanna leave! So many activities for the kids every hour. The pool and water Park was very nice and larger then I originally thought. The entire property from restrooms, cabins, to grounds were spotless clean. We had many opportunities to interact with Yogi and all the characters. The kids all got a lot of personal time and attention from the characters. The entire trip was stress free. Exactly what you want on a vacation. The Campground overall it s a good size. We felt very safe. Great family atmosphere. We can t wait to come back real soon!

If I was to base my rating off of the site alone I would give them 5 stars. Clean spacious site with a concrete pad.Few things, They need to hire an activity director to be better organized. Seems like some activities where not well thought out. The food offered such as French fries where being cooked in an air fryer. After 15 min the fries came out uncooked. So bad we went back and asked for a refund after the 2nd time. This happened 2 days in a row. U really need to invest in an oil fryer. It's not fair to workers or guests waiting for French or other fryed food that long. They also need more lighting atleast for the basketball court area.

The family went to Jellystone Park for 3 days in August and we had a fantastic time! Even with the rain bursting our parade we still managed to have a really good time. They have a really cool little pond with paddle boats that we enjoyed thoroughly they have a great little snack shack the service was a bit slow but they were such great girls and they were so much fun to talk to so it really helped pass the time while they were getting my food together which to be fair was a very large order :-) their water area was very cool big splash pad with slides for the kids a kiddie pool which was rather large which my boys really loved because they was only 3 ft deep and they could walk all around it there was a hot tub that I really wish I could have enjoyed but unfortunately they don't allow the kids to even sit around the perimeter of the hot tub so I couldn't go there cuz I didn't have anyone to watch the kids so words of the warning if you do try to go up there do not bring your son with you even to look at it because you'll get yelled at. They had a great big quiet pool at the top of the hill but we didn't go and check it out. there are two playgrounds one that was a bit smaller and it seemed to appeal to the seven and under crowd which had a jumping pillow right next to it and one up at the top of the hill that was really big and elaborate and the kids went crazy for it! We stayed in a camping trailer which we found to be incredibly spacious it had all the pots and pans and utensils that we could possibly need however I do have to give you a word of warning that they do not provide a grill for you to cook on unless you go up to the big playground area where there is one for you to use so you may need to bring a small charcoal or gas grill with you unless you want to put a grate over the fire pit but come on let's face it are we really going to go back to caveman days? :-) it doesn't say so on their website but there is a very small oven in the camping trailer that could fit a small cookie sheet if you do need to use it. And bring extra toilet paper because they only give you one roll I actually had to walk over to the comfort station to get more. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we can't wait to go back again. The staff is so nice and the place is so clean and so well kept that it was a pleasure to go and I highly recommend it to anyone who has children under the age of 12 they will go crazy! Special tip after August 20th the prices go down especially during the week so it's good to take advantage of it.

This is definitely the worst location that I have booked a vacation at. The grounds are awful not maintained at all. The entire campground is dirty. Garbage all over this resort. The cabin wasn t cleaned and the fridge was broken. Took several calls and frustration to finally get a new fridge. DO NOT waste your money at this location.

This was the second year I've come with family and we've enjoyed both years. We stayed on a tent site, which was good - apart from the geese making their way onto our campsite and the muggy bathrooms (it'd be great if some cross ventilation was added to help with the heat and steam in the bathrooms after others shower.). My nephews love the water zone and pools and we had good experiences with the staff. The activities staff and pool attendants were great, and I'd like to mention Vaughn as he was especially attentive in the water zone and did his job effectively and efficiently.

Great time and place for family trip. Tons of activities all weekend and great facilities made the 2 night stay go very fast. Expensive for camping, but well worth it with the amenities. The floors in the cabin could have been cleaner, but this is a campground with lots of dirt and dust so some dirt was to be expected. Staff was all friendly and helpful and other campers were respectful. Will be going back again next summer hopefully with a larger group!

We came here with my family and my husband s last July and we fell in love with the calmness of nature. The people is great for kids and adults (and not crowded which is great!) and cabins very clean and cute.Plus have to thank Cody that a few weeks ago was the most kind person on the planet: my father bought a t shirt that he loved last summer and unfortunately lost it. I called to see if by any chance they could send me that same t shirt without having to drive 2 hours (surprise xmas present), and they did, in record time! AMAZING!Cant wait to be back next summer

After looking at some recent reviews of this Jellystone, I was a little worried about our upcoming reservations. However, I am so grateful that our family got to experience this campground first hand and didn t allow recent reviews to discourage us.We rented a campsite and pull a 36 foot fifth wheel. The site was plenty big enough with a beautiful fireplace made from pavers. While there are a lot of extended stay/seasonal campers, they were nice and respectful. The campground was clean, the amenities were fantastic and ALWAYS available for families. Our family appreciated the weekly program of scheduled events and how often they were provided every hour from 9am to 8pm literally FUN all day long! The pool and water park is open from 10-8.One thing we felt was special and made for a unique experience was the bears delivering a treat in the evening to the campsite. Yes, it costs a little extra, but the kids absolutely LOVED it!!!One night, our camping neighbors partied well past quiet hours, but it didn t bother us, though it could be problematic for others. In addition, there are others that visit the area that do not stay at the campground and they fly down the road which makes me VERY nervous, but is no fault to the campground itself! This was a wonderful experience for our family to have made lifelong memories!THANK YOU JELLYSTONE!

MUST READ!!Be awareMy experience here was awful! As you may know, New York is a very populated area with a high crime rate. You may be thinking that a crime happened to us, but in the kick of time, we saved ourselves. First of all, one of our friends payed for us which was nice, but they chose us a terrible site. It was not even one bit wooded(all). Also, since we have kids, it was awful because it was right next to the street. Like the street was living there. The campsites were all open and we had no privacy. The whole camp was pretty open so outsiders could just ZOOM with their cars to though the camp wich was just terribly dangerous for the little ones. Also, the whole time we were there was in terrible harsh weather which took away the only good amenities they have which were the tiny pond and the splash zone and shallow pool. The pool went up to 4 feet I think which mostly kept the kids from swimming deep but I understand it is because of the smaller kids so I ll leave that fact, the water slides were fun but they did not last long. Lastly for the pool area, the lifeguards at the top of the waterslide and all around the area were definitely not doing what they were supposed too, the lifeguards around the area were firstly not even paying attention and if the pool was any deeper, kids would have been In accidents. They (like 2) were also swearing and disrespectful in front of the kids, luckily they weren t paying attention and focused on the splash zone. Then, the lifeguards for the slides were totally rude. The kids did like this one bodyguard that let two of my children go together and have fun and that were very nice to the kids ! Props to her. On further notice, I understand that the bodyguards are busy and overwhelmed but they don t have to be rude to the kids and yell at them, simply ignoring them and telling them when to go is okay, too. The water slides were fun but be careful as your child may also complain That their back and legs areas were hurt by the blue one. The end had this bump that made children quickly fly up and get hurt. Also, the mini pond barely had any fish and wasn t too big of a deal. Now to the safety of the kids, like I said earlier, terrible. The water slides were not that safe when they got to the bottom, a few people slipped and fell on the slippery floor, and families and kids could have got ran over from the scary new yorkans driving their cars and not respecting the speed limit, that is definitely not even a fraction of what I have to cover on this campground, but on the other hand, the campground water area was a hit for the little ones but not for their parents. The few improvements they needed were safety and maybe a pool a few feet deeper! No complains about the yogi bear crew as they did have fun with the little ones! I give his camp a 3 and thanks for reading please do not criticize as this was my personal experience and maybe they changed!

Water "park" is always a draw. This one did not disappoint. The Campground was pretty well laid out as well (where we were). Utilities were sufficient. The snack bar was really good food for a quick lunch. The staff all around the park were polite and focused on service. Dog park was a but far from our rig... might want to add another closer to the long line of sites.

This was our first time staying at Jellystone. The cabin was clean and there were a lot of different activities for the kids. We had a 5 star experience up to when we were leaving. We waited for 15 minutes outside on the patio to see Yogi bear send us off. My 3 year old daughter was excited to see Yogi but unfortunately the golf cart just drove passed our cabin. They stopped at the cabin next to ours and when my daughter waved and said bye, Yogi waved to her with his back facing her. He didn t even bother turning around. It was disrespectful. Other than that we had a good time, just wish our trip ended on a better note.

Pros;-The place is nice-Friendly people-Yogi and friends are usually around saw kids can see them-Staff is nice, specially the ones in charge of the kids entrainmentCons;-Place is big so if you stay I will recommend to rent a golf cart-BED BUGS - I read the reviews here but I didn t listen.I will recommend not to stay in the cabins at least not the rustic ones. I got the most inching bites ever. Plus all the work I have to do to make sure I didn t brought one home.-Pools don t open until Memorial Day and even tho it was 90 degrees, they didn t let us put a tiny baby pool for the little ones to cool off-The lake is only for fishing or to go in the boats . If you rent the boat I will recommend to keep your hands inside . We saw a few BIG SNAKES .

We rented a 2 bedroom cabin which looked pretty nice inside and out. Unfortunately upon arrival the floor was VERY dirty, moisture was coming out of the walls, the counter was loaded with sugar ants and the air conditions were FULL of black mold. Most of the staff was very friendly but at the pool one of the attendants was using foul language to another guest about other guests. A child threw up on the side of the pool and she was appalled and made it very clear that she was appalled. The small pool wasn't clean and got worse as the week went on. The arcade isn't exciting at all and they could care less about helping you at the pic-a-nic basket. The staff that runs the activities are very friendly and the kids had fun. Overall we did have a good time but those air conditioners MUST be cleaned.
