I have not hired a vehicle mechanic for over 40 years because of the many bad experiences with mechanics that I have had with repair garages in the past, and instead, chose to learn, and perform my own repairs concerning my vehicles, my computers, and my major appliances - However, after being released from the hospital in March 2022, I struggled with exhaustion, physical weakness, and was told by the doctor that recovery would be slow, and I was certainly too weak to lift much, or use tools, so I reluctantly chose to phone a vehicle repair garage - When I called for service, I explained that my vehicle would not start on the very same day I was hospitalized, and that I suspected the starter was defective, but could not be 100% certain - I also mentioned I replaced the starter myself 15 years ago, although I am too weak at this time do the same - After the garage called to say my vehicle did need a starter, and was repaired, the starter seemed to function for a few months, but later, began to make a loud horrendous noise, actually startling people walking by when I turned the engine over - It wasn't very long before the starter failed completely - Still physically weak, in pain, but gaining some endurance, I decided to investigate the starter situation - When I pulled the starter out, it appeared old, tarnished, and the motor casing was pitted - Being a supposed new starter as claimed by the garage, the starter should have appeared new in contrast - However, the throw-out bearing/gear inside the starter was extremely worn causing the small starter gear to be thrown out at an angle, in turn, slamming against the larger gear on the engine rather than synchronizing - The so-called new starter which I was charged for, looked just like the same starter I replaced in 2007, only much older - I suspect the solenoid alone was manipulated, or replaced rather than an entire new starter installed as I was informed was done, and as was also stated on the repair bill - I will never, never, never, ever use the service of this repair garage again, or any vehicle repair service assuming I can avoid it.Service: General repairs & maintenance

As we were driving on Rt 206 going to Albany, our car started making a progressively louder noise around right rear tire. We were some miles beyond Greene, but decided to turn back and find a garage. Luckily, Google gave this garage as one of the local choices. Many cars around when we arrived, including 2 up on lifts. My husband explained our situation and was told that a mechanic would take it for a ride to check it out. This was done and he put our car up on a lift and found/fixed the problem- one of the wheels was ready to fall off! In less than 30 minutes, we were fixed and ready to be on the road again. He wanted to only charge a minimal lift fee, but we insisted he take more. We were blessed to find him and his garage! We can't give him a higher rating...he took care of us immediately, honestly!! Wish we lived closer to use him all the time!!

Call the office shopA couple of weeks ago explained that I hadA speedometer not workingAnd that I needed oil pressure sensorAnd an ABS sensor wheel sensorI asked the mechanic will the secretary tell the mechanic please diagnoseTo see if there's any cut wires below the vehicleSaid they would need one hourCharge me $98All that mechanic did was putOne of those testersInside the vehicle which only takes less than 5 minutesCame up with a bunch of codes which I already knew all the codes said he wasn't certain but yet charged me $98 my appointment was for 2Walked away from the property with my puppy came back so my vehicle still sitting there at 2:20 p.m.Asked why it was still there was told the elder lady had a flat tire so sheCame before me I understoodThey finally took the vehicle in at 2:27 p.m.Got it back out at 3:37 p.m.By the way didn't see anything they were doingI will never ever use this mechanic againTold me nothing differentI already ate that I didn't already know about the vehicle the codes that he gave me was the same thing AutoZone gave me for free and charge me 98 bucks unbelievable do not believe the great ratingsServices: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

I would recommend this business to anyone looking for honest decently priced auto work. I drive 40 minutes out of my way because they are so trustworthy and dependant.
