Don't waste your time with any safelite. if you open any glass claim they will do whatever it takes to waste your time and not do your glass. the excuse they made at this location is the rep told me i need to calibrate my front lane assist in order to replace my windshield in order for them to calibrate the front lane assist again after they change the windshield and switch over. Overall moral for them is if you're not coming out of pocket they don't want to do any service for you. also they said they will leave my car out in the street with my keys in it to pick up cause they got to go home and my car got to go, which they actually did....

I went for my appointment and the employee that received us was extremely rude when we made the mistake to pull slowly on the driveway. After we moved our car to the street in order to go to the office we explained there s better ways to approach customers and obviously since he has poor costumer service he kept an attitude which we decided to ignore. After visiting the office to start the process of changing the glass, employees spoke in between them and decided not to change my glass making excuses they wasn t able to do it. Taking into consideration I had a confirmed appointment for my car, I don t really think this should happen. I drove 45 minutes to this location, which it s frustrating that just because an employee was not respectful enough with the customers, they decided not to provide the schedule service. I wouldn t like anyone to go through this awful situation with such a big company. Managers should be more on top of this incidents.

I took my sons 2020 Sonata in for a cracked windshield and waited several hours due to the proper calibration to the lane departure feature....the staff was very professional and the man at the front desk was very informative and a great conversationalist which is great for customer relations.They had a nice little free coffee set up with television and I must say, the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen in the automotive industry......all in all, my experience was great, time flew and it was done. They have a very polite and professional staff, I highly recommend this location...It's also in a beautiful location.Mike D'Elia

I went last Saturday, June10, to this location. The receptionist as well as the technician were personable, efficient and professional.Diego the technician did a great job in putting back the registration and emission stickers to the very same spot where I wanted to - the very same spot location where he removed it from the broken windshield he replaced.

They did a great and efficient job on my windshield and drivers window. Super clean and comfortable waiting area with bathroom, tv, coffee, water. Just adding my technician was Moreno! Friendly service - highly recommend this shop. Only confusion was my gps said they were on the opposite side of the road. Thanks so much gentlemen - you re awesome!!

I recently had an unfortunate event happen to my 2015 mint condition Chevy Tahoes windshield, which was a very large crack occurring after being hit with a rock on the highway, but to offset this situation,I had a very fortunate event at the Safelite location in Great Neck, New York.First interaction was with the service writer Craig.He was extremely professional, efficient and knowledgeable.His customer service and demeanor is superb.Second positive event was the technician Diegowho replaced my windshield and did the recalibration on my sensors.All good to go.If you are ever in need for windshield replacement,do not hesitate to contactSafelite of Great Neck and you ll be happy you did!

Left my car here for repairs. At first they installed the wrong glass and then had to wait another two weeks for the correct glass to arrive. So I left my car there. After everything is said and done I think of my car, and not only was out of gas but also had a flat tire. There was no ownership no responsibility taken and the fact that I couldn t do anything about it is very frustrating. When I inquired about the issue I had noticed, the response was if we wanted to joyride a car there are better ones in the lot. So I would not recommend this place.

Great staff, I showed up early, the staff took my car in and got started right away. The seating area is nice and clean. Coffee , hot and cold water provided. Clean bathroom. Friendly staff. This is my 2nd time going to this location. I never had issues after the first replacement. Hopefully expecting the same results this time. Highly recommend.

In my many years as a driver, I had never had any glass issues. This was my first experience dealing with a broken windshield, and I must say it couldn't have gone any better. I easily scheduled an appointment for repair for my 2021 Subaru Outback, and the drop off was quick and efficient. My car was ready within 3 hours. I'm satisfied with the work and would recommend this Safelite location.

I opened a Claim with this company on they set me up with this location . i have an appointment to replace my windshield and when i called to confirm the address i was told the windshield was broken and they need to order a new one . months pass by and no one called me to setup second appointment . when i called this office and was lucky enough to be talking to some guy named steven . This guy has 0 skills on customer service and should maybe look into working for DMV . he will fit right in. Steven tells me my appointment was cancel because i didn't make my appointment but i never missed my appointment. they broke my glass and i was waiting for a call back from this office when they had my new glass . AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COST . They have unprofessional staff .

Could not have been a better experience! Brian was so sweet and knowledgeable! He even cleaned the interior of my car and gave me the top of the line wiper blades for a discounted rate. Service was an A+! Can t wait to take my car for a spin with my brand new windshield! Thanks again Brian you rock! I wish I could give zero stars. There was a crack in my windshield and I went through Safelight to get this glass replaced. The replacement glass was ordered four times each time the replacement glass was ordered, it arrived broken. The last time my appointment was canceled the guy was actually in the middle of replacing the glass when he saw the replacement glass had scratches in it. My appointment has been cancelled and rescheduled five times. My windshield is still not replaced and the customer service is horrific! I am going on a full month without being able to use my car safely. When trying to reach a customer service rep, I ve gotten disconnected multiple times and each time I m being connected to some random person who could not care at all about the situation or have any knowledge, responsibility, or accountability. There seems to be no managers to actually oversee the jobs being done and the appointments and orders just get logged into a system that they don t control. Please do yourself a favor and never use this business! I wish I could go through another vendor but at this point it s already been logged through my insurance and I have to wait it out.Service: Auto windshield replacement

I came in paying cash for a windshield replacement. They were rude, judgmental of my car and the fact that it was an older model. The guy behind the counter didn t have my reservation correct and then was argumentative with me about the discount that I had applied to my reservation before coming in. They also asked me to sign a form saying they wouldn t guarantee the work because my car had rust so if the windshield leaked they wouldn t repair it. I left and found a local shop that wasn t corporate and they fixed it for just over half what the Safe Lite charged. Had to take off work to go in and deal with them. Total waste of time. 0/10.

I wanted to support my local business and decided to have my windshield replaced by Safelite Great Neck Location. Booked my appointment on line and it was set for Saturday 12/26/2020 between 12 noon and 5. The tech assigned to my install was Carlos. On Saturday 12/26/20, 4pm and no tech and shown up or called. I called him, he tells me he was in a car accident and would have to reschedule. I rescheduled with him immediately for an install in their shop for Saturday 01/02/21. I arrive on Sat 01/02/21 and was informed by the "manager" that there was no appointment for me. She further told me that their tech's are not privy to the schedule and therefore not authorized to take appointments. No apology, no "can you come back later" nothing at all. I walk to the service area and wanted to speak to Carlos-the tech that took my appointment, he would not speak to me. Then some tech comes from behind the car he was working on, rips off his mask and starts arguing and yelling at me not to speak to his manager that way, I seriously though it was going to come to blows. Do not use this location. Totally unhappy with the treatment and service I received from the manager on duty and their muscle that ripped off his mask. I guess he is their spokesperson. I contacted Blue Chip Auto Glass located in Williston Park and I have an install appointment for Tuesday 01/05/2. Thank you Safelite for a horrible experience, enjoy the dayService: Auto windshield replacement

My windshield was broken and I scheduled for Safelite to repair it while I was working, I got a call the morning of that they will come and pick up the car and take it to the shop instead due to rain in the forecast. BRIAN the tall African American Jamaican guy was very professional and on point. He picked up my car at 8:30 am and had it back to me before 10:30. He communicated with me throughout, I was very pleased he even took the time out to wipe down all my windows and gave me specific next step instructions!!!! Update: I had to change the review from 4 stars to 2 stars. Changed windshield from here. I was promised 5 hours initially when I dropped my car. When it was nearly 5 hours, I called the service and found out they needed 2 more hours which was understandable. When I went back to the place after 7 hours to pick up my car, they weren't still done with my car. I had to wait another an hour and half for calibration finished and passed. Few days later I got a call from Safelite saying that calibration was not passed which made me confused since I was told that it was passed last time I was there. Again, I was asked to come back to finish the calibration again which will take about 45 to an hour. I went there again and found out that it did pass last time, but they had an error on their side system while sending the data to server and lost the data. I had to stay for 2 hours and half again for their mistake. So, in total, I wasted 4 hours of my time excluding the 2 hours extended time they requested on the first day plus the travel time. BTW, the staff was nice and polite. They do their job, so if you have enough time. It won't be a problem.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Safelite cancelled my appointment the evening before the appointment for replacement . I waited several days and this was my experience. Now I am left in the middle of august with a trip out of town in2 days with no window. Thank you for NOTHING safelite. Worst experience and worst location to do business with. Take your claims and business to another company.

I should have known there would be issues when they don't have a phone number to reach them. They list a number but it just loops you and you don't actually speak with anyone. I had a crack in my windshield. in the beginning of March. Had to set up appointment online only. Closest appointment was 2 weeks away I fill in all the information and Safelite was coming to the house. The day before my appointment they call and say that since my vehicle is a 2021 it needs to be brought to a shop and they have to order a windshield and the vehicle camera needs to be recalibrated. What they were doing in the 2 weeks time before my appointment who knows? Clearly at Safelite they don't have enough employees to monitor all these orders coming to them. Guess what I had to make another appointment online only. Another week and a half . Once again , they send me an email they will be coming to the house this time. I knew that was incorrect so I called my insurance and had them speak to Safelite. Seems that they were able to reach an actual person with a special number. Get this all straightened out, plus they said my vehicle camera would need to be recalibrated but they would be able to do it. The day of my appointment comes, I go to Safelite and they said do you have an appointment? Yes, had to show the phone as proof as they weren't able to find my info. They verified my info and now couldn't find my windshield!!! The guy said he would call back, but of course never did. Had to call insurance again to get thru to Safelite. Meanwhile, with all of this I have had to get a car rental thru my insurance. The crack on my windshield just keeps getting bigger and I didn't feel safe driving it. They get thru to someone and they have ordered the wrong windshield!! Instead of a Nissan one they ordered an Infinity. I don't have any confidence in this company at all. Once again , they now had to order the correct windshield and I had to go online to make an appointment. Another week and half away! Seriously, I feel that I should be compensated for all this time wasted with getting a simple windshield replaced which is their main business! I have already had to spend $10 a day for my car rental that the insurance doesn't pick up. My appointment day arrives and I drop off the car. Everything was fine. I get the message that my vehicle is ready today. Pick it up and they installed the windshield but didn't recalibrate the vehicle camera. Never told before this that they were unable to do it. That was the whole reason they had me bring it to the shop instead of replacing my windshield at my home was because they needed to recalibrate the camera! Now I had to extend my car rental once again. If you drive my car it has all these error messages. I hope that is because of the recalibration that needs to be done. My car is 3 months old. I am dropping it off at Nissan tomorrow to get it done. Learn from my experience and if you need a windshield replaced go thru your dealership instead. I should have done that in the first place instead of dealing with this joke of a company. Safelite was nothing but a serious headache for me and offered me no compensation and not even an I'm sorry. Great customer service. I had a water leak in my car that I thought was coming from the windshield they replaced. As it turns out it was just a weird coincidence that drain under my cabin air filter was clogged with 6 inches of water. The store manager Angel and his employee Ray were very nice and accommodating during this process. I felt embarrassed when it turned out not to be the windshield but they said that they were glad to help me figure out the problem and directed me on what to do next to get this fixed.

Had a new windshield installed by safelite at their location. They did a great job. They were extremely courteous and professional. My vehicle was returned spotless both inside and outside. Called when the vehicle was ready to get picked up. If you need glass replaced give them a call. They come to you or you can go to them.

Dec 7th was the appointment for replacement of windshield on my VW. My insurance would pay for OEM. Wouldnt recommend aftermarket. Unfortunately they cracked the new windshield. Made another appointment the following week. But windshield wasn't available until Dec 30th. They did a good job of installing it.

They are one of the best when you need auto glass repair or replacement. In the past the mobile services is 5 stars. However my last mobile services is not so great.When the first attempt, i take off 2 hours of work for the replacement at my home. When the installer arrival and about to start replace and find a crack on the corner of the new windshield. So not is done and I have to reschedule. So, I pick in shop work, I thought it will be better. Guess what, same thing happen. few week late, visit at the great neck, I booked appointment weeks ago. When I go there and wait for over 45 min, they told me both windshield in the stock are damaged so they cant do it and I have to come back some other time.Finally get it done right on the third attempt! That totally waste my 2 half days of my time! If they inspecd the stock before I come than I wont waste 45 mins of my time. Because we all have works to do as well, please respect your customers time!

I was traveling out of state and was fortunate to find Safelite Great Neck. Craig the customer service representative was professional, patient and very helpful! Will def come back again!
