During my recent visit to Bayside BMW, after my battery died and my vehicle was towed to the facility, I had an outstanding experience. My service advisor, Kevin Guo, was a standout, demonstrating exceptional knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy. He kept me well-informed with constant updates on my vehicle's status, making the process seamless and stress-free.In the loaner department, Francine and Elleni were fantastic, ensuring that I had an efficient and smooth experience getting a temporary vehicle. Their combined efforts made the transition feel effortless, showcasing their commitment to customer service.Ashley, who processed my bill, was also impressive with her efficiency and professionalism. Chris, the service manager, oversaw the entire operation with a keen eye, ensuring that every aspect of the service was handled perfectly. The whole team at Bayside BMW provided top-notch service, truly embodying the excellence of the brand. This experience reinforced my trust and appreciation for Bayside BMW, and I highly recommend their services.

I brought my car in for a full diagnostic, it was recently gifted to me and was an old model with high mileage. Working with Kevin I received prompt communication and a full in-depth video breaking down everything going on with this car. The customer service was excellent and I recommend working with Kevin. He was very knowledgeable and honest about my options. Thank you BMW of Bayside!

Worst service ever, bad attitude and takes all day to do a regular oil change. Don t recommend this place. Going to another location next time. I had an appointment scheduled at 8:30am and was only able to retrieve the car at 1:30pm. Absolutely ridiculous!

Bin was great advisor. I was having a jerking issue, provided a multiple step plan to address the issue. Solution required replacing multiple parts and extensive labor. Post labor I had another creeking issue. Bin allowed me to come in and had it sorted within an hour. Thanks Bin

Very disappointed Purchased a $7,000 warranty for my X7Which was purchased from a bmw dealership, I bring it here and turns out it's useless. Not to mention I'm on the hook for almost $600 for a "diagnostic" fee which was disclosed to me and I agreed to but I would have to first give them the green light to do the repair which is going to run me at the very least $3,000 and up and then maybe the $7,000 warranty will cover it and if not I have to pay it all myself. So basically I will have to pay around $600 for them to tell me what I already knew about the problem with my car. I don't blame anyone but myself on this but it's an expensive lesson and nobody at this place really cares. Very poor method of doing business in my opinion, no effort made on thier part to validate the warranty or even try to check. Now I'm stuck to pay for absolutely nothing. Oh well that's life.

So i had a wonderful experience at BMW of Bayside thanks to Kevin Guo, Big KEV. Such a great person. He solved my issue with concern and had me back on the road to Georgia in no time. I visited my mom in NYC and i woke up to a DriveTrain Malfunction light on. I was scared and confused. I brought it in immediately to BMW of Bayside and guess what rats chewed up my wiring smh. I had to laugh because it s crazy how people complain about rats of nyc and i finally got a first hand experience. Anyway long story shorter my insurance covered it and i was given a loaner. Very nice but I m glad i have my car back. Thanks KEV. Goodbye nyc

Taken two cars here and they ve ripped me off on both on my x3, I paid to have tires rotated at their suggestion. They said they did it. Took it to another mechanic a month later and they pointed out that my tires needed to be rotated the dealership never did it and still charged me and would not refund me. I also had them fix my 12v outlet and they returned it with the glove compartment completely falling apart (see pictures). See the photos. They want to charge me $2500 to fix what they broke. On another car (2020 300i), we ve had repeated no start issues despite only 12,000 miles. They keep saying it s the starter and have replaced that twice despite me saying it can t possibly be the starter. No surprise, I have a no start condition again and I m far from home and they won t pay to tow it back. They had me tow it to the nearest dealership and told me it was my problem to figure out how to get back to bayside and that I d have to rent a car. When the tow truck driver came (to tow it to a different dealership since bayside was further than they d pay to tow it), he pointed out that all 4 tires have slashes on the sidewall which had been marked by the dealership but never mentioned to me. These are not safe to drive with and are clearly a manufacturing defect (all 4 tires have them, and the tires had 12k miles on them). This car would not pass safety inspection yet they never thought to mention it to us or suggest that it needed to be fixed. What a joke. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!The worst part is they take zero accountability for their mistakes. Browse through their responses to one star reviews here to see for yourself. All the responses that the dealership posts are blaming others it s an issue with the third party warranty not us. You should have bought our warranty. Or it s BMW NA that s holding up the payment, not us .

I have used 3 dealers for servicing so far. Rallye, Habberstad, and Bayside. Bayside is BY FAR the best. My service advisor (George) is the only advisor who I ve worked with who actually takes the time to explain what work gets done to the car, and really make you understand the issue. They are really organized and get you in an out very quick. They also only do hand-washes and don t do Machine-washes. I know Habberstad does machine-washes and has sustained lots of unhappy customers because of it.Really great experience at Bayside!

I am not exactly thrilled with the service I received.I explained to the service tech that my car was vibrating when braking and the brakes were squeaking. The first video that was sent, the technician was showing the under carriage of the car and said everything was fine with the car and there were no issues with the brakes, tires, or rotors. Then a second video was sent and according to the technician I was feeling the vibration in the steering wheel when braking was because of 2 broken panels under the car by the front end. The panels would shake from the wind when braking at high speeds which caused the steering wheel to vibrate. I ve never heard of such a poor answer provided of how a panel is causing a vibrating feeling when braking. Then I received another call back and I was told yes the front rotors are bad. I asked the service tech if there was anything that could be done to replace the rotors and he explained no since they are not covered under the warranty.I then asked for a quote how much it was to replace the rotors, and the answer I received was you already paid for the maintenance plan and your brake pads are not below spec so it doesn t make any sense to pay for new rotors. So basically he was advising not to pay for new rotors and keep driving the car as-is until the brake pads wear down and then I could get everything replaced and covered under warranty. That is also not the best or safest advice given. The brake pads according to the tech was at 7mm and below spec is 3mm so I would basically have to risk damaging the car even more, and potentially risk losing braking power until the brakes reached below spec.I also asked for a quote to fix the 2 broken panels, and an alignment. I never received a quote, and when I went to pick up the car I received a copy of the work order that was barely legible. The entire paperwork was faded and the tech said oh don t worry I ll email you a copy. Guess what I never received that e-mail either.Overall a very poor experience at this dealership.

Rating should be a one for the particular employee Matt I have been working in the car industry for a lengthy amount of time, so when I visit the service department I have my fair share of respect for the service advisors. Typically they are responsible for getting customers cars in and out of the shop and deals with customers directly. Customer situation aren t always Cut and Dry and there comes times where things can become overwhelming. All things considered I called BMW OF BAYSIDE once I discovered that I was low on air on my passenger front tire. I called on a Friday at 3:20PM and asked for service. The receptionist asked me the reason for service and I explained to them my situation. Immediately after I stopped speaking I heard a man (Matt) scream out our techs leave at 3:30PM. The receptionist relayed the message and I asked if I can just buy the tire if they had it in stock. I was transferred to the parts and inquired about the availability of my particular tire for my car. Dom confirmed and agreed to put it to the side. I arrive at 3:40PM and speak with the service advisor (Matt)and made him aware of a solution if they could call my insurance company and file the claim or start and if just pay for the tire with my own money until they dealership got paid by the Insurance company. Matt advised me that he couldn t do that because he d have to run the car through the shop and that there was no technicians to get him the information and wear of the tires. I wasn t trying to be a pain so I purchased the tire that they charged me $650Service: Tires

Took very long for just an oil change About 2 hour and 45min. Also I left my watch in the car and it was missing after. Terrible place service You think when you car to service no one would look in the car for stuff. But think again not this place. I feel like it's a rich neighborhood so the lot guys look thru your car.

DO NOT REPAIR YOU BMW THERE IF YOU DONT HAVE WARRANTY , THEY ARE SCAMMMERS THESE LOW LIFE'S MAKE MONEY ON COMMISON, THEY WILL TRY THEIR BEST TO CONVINCE YOU EXPENSIVE REPAIRS WHEN YOU GO IN FOR A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE . THE BIGGEST CULPRIT IS THE SERVICE ADVSIOR WHO'S TRYING TO RIP OFF LOYAL BMW CUSTOMER TO FEED HIMSELF AND HIS STAFFS

George Fan is one of the best service advisors I've had and he always takes care of me and my car, a 2021 BMW M340ix. He's extremely thorough, helpful, polite, very knowledgeable, and always keeps me updated which I am grateful for.The technicians here and their video updates are also extremely professional and I was fortunate enough to meet my last one on 8/11/2023 when they were looking for my wheel lock key. George escorted me to the garage area and I also had some quick questions about the car and you can tell that the technician was a true car fanatic with lots of helpful experience and knowledge that I appreciated.Thank you guys, I will definitely keep coming here for the great service!

I had a car accident a couple of hours ago. And I could see the mechanic pulled the power line of the dashcam. It is so terrible. Check your car after the service if you have a dashcam.

Came here 3 times for a coolant leak. There is still a leak and they want to charge me $260 just to look at it. They won t fix your car and the inspections they do are fake. Don t go here.

I brought my 550i GT (out of warranty) here because one of the windows stopped going up.Christine was my specialist and told me the diagnosis fee is 174. I also asked her to take a look at the leak problem and the sound system malfunction. She said no problem. The diagnostic took about 2 hrs which I didn't really mind waiting since I thought they were checking everything. They got back to me with an estimate of 1600 plus tax to replace the window motor and regulator (which is ridiculous) and I said I'd rather take it to my preferred repair shop.Their attitude completely changed after that. And when I asked about the other issues that I asked them to check, I was told that I'd need another diagnostic charge of 174 for them to check that.WTF??? The whole concept of charging a flat rate diagnostic fee is to charge it once and not on a "per-case" basis!I foolishly ignored all the recent negative reviews, hoping that one if the biggest service centers in NY won't pull this type of tricks. Very disappointing. Also, they wash quietly didn't provide a promised car wash stayting that would have been done after a repairing the window.

I visited the BMW service center for the first time to get an oil change for my wife's car. I had made a reservation a week in advance for today's appointment. Upon arriving at the location, I noticed a lack of clear signage and directions, which made it a bit confusing to navigate. I ended up parking the car in the parking lot and walking into the reception area.Once inside the reception area, the staff instructed me to drive the car back onto a ramp and wait there. It struck me that having clearer signage or guidance would have been immensely helpful at this point. Following the staff's instructions, I positioned the car accordingly and waited. However, the wait time extended to over 30 minutes, which surprised me. I empathize with other reviews that mentioned waiting for up to 2 hours; that must have been truly challenging.Unfortunately, the events that unfolded after my initial encounter have left me with a strong reluctance to ever return to this service center. My interaction with an advisor named Kevin was particularly distressing. I must say, Kevin appears to possess a remarkable talent for mishandling customer relationships. Each sentence he uttered seemed laced with unfriendly assumptions and unwarranted skepticism toward the customer. In my experience, Kevin's communication style was marred by an evident lack of courtesy and professionalism. His demeanor cast a shadow over what should have been a smooth and pleasant customer service experience. Instead, I found myself navigating an unpleasant atmosphere, where I felt doubted and even disrespected. It is with a heavy heart that I advise others to steer clear of this particular service center, especially if they value their time and expect to be treated with respect. For those who seek a positive and respectful customer service encounter, I believe there are more worthwhile options to consider.

Scam artists. Told me I had a leak in my differential. 2.5k estimate to repair. No leak found by my local honest mechanic. They also have no shuttle service or transportation to your home. They will call Lyft for you and the charge will be on your final bill.

Would give zero stars if I could. Made an appointment for an oil change for my wife s car, was told to keep waiting to speak to an advisor, waited two hours then decided to stop wasting my time and left. Not sure what the point in making an appointment is if I m being told to wait indefinitely? Save your valuable time and go somewhere else.

Our 2022 BMW M4 competition ran into engine problems while we were out of town from Florida. Peter in service handled the issue promptly and communicated extremely well, updating me every step of the way. Highly recommend Bayside for all your BMW service needs, one of the best experiences I ve had with a dealer service department.

This morning, a break problem forced me to abort my plans and and head straight to BMW of Great Neck.I had no appointment but got to the service center quite early. After a very prompt diagnosis, it was determined I needed rear breaks. I was able to wait while the work was done. While the cost was high, I expected this to be so. I had little time to research other options prior to choosing the dealership and was pleased with the care I received and the courtesy of the staff. George, the manager, was particularly efficient and I left having had a very positive service experience and a very clean vehicle!

not coming back. Had a turn signal module replaced but Service advisor Greg swears the tab was already missing but i know it was not rhe case. Show me the photos then. I just want to but the tab cover but Now they want to bring in the car to inspect the whole assembly again just to quote me for the tab just to find more issues with the whole assembly. Complete rip off.
