One of their mechanics noticed I had a bad wheel bearing on my boat trailer while driving through town told me to follow him to Waltons where the bearings and seal were replaced at a very reasonable cost. Walton s Auto Service gives unprecedented top-of-the-line customer service. Specifically the auto mechanic Craig has expert knowledge and does outstanding work. He is patient, listens, gave me options and worked with me every step of the way to figure out the best plan of action in repairing my Honda Fit with manual transmission. I would highly recommend Craig! Even if you are far, you should absolutely go see him. Just incompetent liars I just don't have the words to explain my disappointment with this ,I do not even want to call this a garage, 5 stars only so every one sees it the rating system needs a negative rating option. So many issues with multiple vehicles just don't go here ... ever

I have them do work on my vehicle and haven't had any problems with them. Rick and the staff do good reasonable work and are very friendly and work with the customer. They won't sell you something you don't need. They are open week days and some Saturdays. Call ahead on Saturday if you need to get work done to see if they are there.

Paid 300 for a new battery and for them to do the same exact repair I already tried doing and when it clearly didn't work the same day I picked it up from them shows me they didn't even test drive to make sure they fixed it. Not happy. Didn't get a penny back so I payed 300 for a "like new" battery.

Been bringing all my vehicles there for over 15 years. They have never let me down. I pass 5 or 6 other shops to get there and as long as they are open, I'll keep giving them my business.

Amazing!!!! Great work great customer service. I was thousands of miles from home and they went above and beyond to help me out. Very refreshing experience compared to the service you get in big cities.

Rick is a very stand up guy. He has handled the Smart Start unit that is in my girlfriends vehicle. We have had alot of problems to say the least with the company itself and Rick has always been willing to help and do whatever he could to help us. We have had alot of work done on our vehicle as well there, with no issues whatsoever after the repairs. The repairs are timely and are done correct. They are very friendly and always answer when we call and will put whatever they are working on hold to help us. Most recently we had a problem with the smart start company that put us out $75 and Rick was willing to refund the money out of his own pocket to resolve the situation, even though it had nothing to do with Rick and was completely out of his hands. He is a real honest stand up guy. We drive about 35 min one way to the shop, and will gladly continue to do so! 5 out of 5 stars all day long.

My sister had an issue with her jeeps tire we got in and he fixed the problem. They are very nice there and get the job done and fix it perfectly.

I have started taking my Saturn SUV to Walton's last year and I will continue to make the drive to see them in Gouverneur, NY. It is sometimes hard to find an ethical and honest business to give your business to (and I'm not talking just garages) ~ so, when you find one that really goes above and beyond that makes them noteworthy! I have been treated with nothing but friendly professionalism. For once in my adult life I don't dread the bills quite as much because I don't fear that they are out to take me. A prime example of that is being told by a dealership in Ottawa a job was going to cost me $1900 Canadian ~ the price at Waltons $300 American. (Even with the conversion that is a savings of $1495. Yes, $1495 saved. So, needless to say I am willing to make the drive. As a woman I have sometimes felt that some garages take advantage of the fact that they don't think women understand cars or the maintenance needed ~ not here. They explain everything, consult with me before fixing and show me the parts. Very ethical and above board. Needless to say ~ I highly recommend them and will be returning to them!

Do a decent job of fixing you car problems but they usually take quite a while even with an appointment. They don't go the extra mile of checking any fluids or anything other than the actual issue.

Winter is here but I still needed my winter tires installed.I called 2 other local garages that both told me they could get them on for me but it would be 7-8 days from now.With kids and their winter sports i need to be able to get around so I called Walton s & they told me they could do it the next day.

This shop is one of the best around Gouverneur and Watertown. Their customer service is excellent, their mechanics are highly knowledgeable, and they have fair prices.
