Just edited a 5 star review to 1 star, the owner knows why.UPDATE: The owner, George's, reply to my updated 1 star review is unwarranted. I called him several times to discuss my issue but he would not speak to me via phone. I also stopped by his shop and spoke with his partner.The main issue has been lost. After my car was damaged in the possession of another local shop, JD Auto/Global Motors, I came to Shore for estimates to fix. They provided these estimates to me for body work and I took the other shop to small claims court after JD Motors rejected to pay for the damages.This owner then went back on his word and signed an affadavit in support of JD Motors even though JD Motors admitted to the damage with evidence to prove.One, 1-star review won't negatively affect your business if you're so confident in your practices, but the way I've been treated after trying to recoup funds for damages made BY A BODY SHOP just goes to show you are all the same, shady and dishonest.

I found my new mechanic I needed a new starter for my Honda accord and George took care of it great price great service! Took the time afterwards to walk me through the steps and brought to my attention a few other maintenance issues with the car. I went there, because Shore Auto came highly recommended from a friend of mine, now I will recommend them to everybody I know.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The Body Shop fixed my headlights and door, and they did an excellent job. The staff was really nice. Highly recommended!

If you come here for the first time,you got lucky cause your in the best car repair shop I've ever been to.im 70 years old and am no amateur with car repair. George has been servicing my cars since I was recommended to him when his shop was in Queens in 1996. He is smart ,friendly,dependable and most important, honest. I travel to Glen Cove cause he has spoiled me with dependable and reasonable work on my 2 cars and my son's cars. A milion thanks to you George, and all the best for you at the new shop.Mickey
