I didn't show up with all the information I needed and they helped me figure out what I needed to do. I didn't have to reschedule or leave the DMV office. The clerks were very helpful and went out of their way to help me

Fastest, nicest and cleanest dmv ever. Spend less than 5 minutes doing anything in here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. You must pass through a metal detector and a scan with police to enter. No smoking on the grounds. The building has DMV, county clerk, Livingston county probation and unemployment offices.

Much more efficient than Virginia DMV. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I was transferring registration from VA to NY, and exchanging my driver's license. They really knew what they were doing and were very pleasant.

Absolutely horrible phone service, when I did reach a person they kept cutting me off mid-sentence while I spoke. I understand trying to work amid Covid-19 is difficult, but taking time to listen to a person's reason for calling would be helpful to both parties!

I wish I got her name but she was blonde headed and she was so rude to me and my husband, No experience in customer service and no sort of respect, I don't work for the dmv and we knew what we could do with our vehicle better then she did she sat there with attitude and telling use we could not do what we went there for.. she pretty much argued with us and would not complete what we went there for... So we left and made an appt in dansville ny the same day we had no issues what so ever with our dealings in dansville... I hope this lady from the geneseo ny office gets exposed and is removed from her position because she does not need to work with dealing with the public and have no skills what so ever...

Registered online; a little confusing; must read very carefully what to do & when to hit enter. I had not however clerk saw my appt time & processed my renewal. Check in early as they tell you; after that it goes smoothly. Not crowded as before Corono 19.

I called last month to ask about hours and the lady was so rude. Also i put a new regestration packet in drop box with my name, number,and blank check. 9 days later got in mail rejected as i made a mistake on a form. No call to say can you re fill out form and bring it in,easy peasy.I have sent it in again and have heard nothing in 12 days so far. Meanwhile paying insurance on car thats been sitting in garage and cant drive it.

Employees degraded myself and everyone else in line. Me dressed in middle class clothes. The trashy couple in pajamas in the line next to me. The French guy behind me. Anyone who called..I just renewed my lisence in Dansville and the girls there were delighted to help. I will never use geneseo again.

Although I live in Rochester, I've made it a point for years to travel to Geneseo for all my DMV needs. There's rarely a line of people (especially early in the morning), and the entire staff is courteous, friendly and very helpful. Yes, Monroe county DMV has improved dramatically over the years, but the Livingston county office is still the best. The total drive time is often less than that of standing in line at the bigger offices, and the drive is a scenic one!

I really like this dmv. Not as busy or crowded as all of the ones in Monroe County. The clerks are really nice. I m from Irondequoit, and I go to this dmv, no matter how far it is.
