Brought the car in for inspection passed,two weeks later brought car back for check engine light and was told car had a bad tire on right front.Ended up replacing all four tires,was told that they could fix everything that was defective for $1,200.00 picked up car with a $1400. Bill

Went in for a brake check. Took me in shortly after arriving for appointment. Vinnie said brakes are good for awhile and should check them out next oil change. Offered to pay for the check up, but he said no charge. Straight, honest, pleasant. I'll be back!!

I just moved into NY state and had to get my car inspection done. I called and was glad to hear they take appointments as opposed to a bunch of other places that told me they operate by first come first serve. The whole process was really quick, easy, and the appointment time was honored. The staff is also very friendly.

Vinnie and his team are the best! I have been coming to his shop since I had my license (over 10 years) and now all of my family and friends come here. They are an honest, trustworthy group of very knowledgeable professionals. My family brings our cars here for our yearly inspection. Vinny takes us in right away with no problem. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. We def trust DNV to handle any car issues that may arrise.

Vinny is an awesome person along with his staff. Honest, efficient, and affordable. Whenever I don't have time to work on my cars, I bring them to him knowing it will get done PERFECTLY with no shortcuts taken. He will look for the best price on parts which keeps your cost but not sacrificing quality. Highly recomend his service.

Vinny and all of his employees are top in the trade. Vehicle repairs done right the first time. No better mechanics around. Diesel, foreign,domestic, Trucks & cars they can handle them all and will always advise of what is best for the customer.

I'm new to the neighborhood and was bummed about moving about an hour away from my mechanic that I had been using for over 10 years. I took my car to Vinny and was praying that he would be just as good and honest as my first mechanic, and he did not disappoint. My first time dropping off the car he tried endlessly to figure out what was wrong with my car, I gave him the typical " it sounds like this and feels like that" ( my steering wheel felt tight)he kept my car all day trying to figure out what it could be.., and found nothing wrong, what blew me away was that he didn't even charge me for his time. Though he didn't do anything on the car, I thought he would have at least charged me for the time to find what might be wrong. That impressed me! He's got my business just took it to him yesterday for a rattling noise and she sounds good as new ! I'm so grateful he's a good one !! Vinny was professional, caring, pulled no strings , was respectful and upfront. I usually am nervous going to mechanics because I am a woman and always get taken advantage of. Vinny did no such thing and this is the only mechanic in town I will ever go to. This is a very decent and honest establishment run by Vinnie. It appears that their particular specialty is repairing American made trucks, notably pick ups. However, they have taken my aging Japanese car and repaired it beautifully. What i appreciate too is how they list all the parts they replaced and itemize the price. Very fine work!

Scheduled a NY State inspection for my car over the phone. They took my car when I arrived at the scheduled time and we re done in under 15 minutes. Awesome service. As they re right around the corner, I plan to use them for all my inspections moving forward.

I have been going to the DNV repair center since I was 16 years old and had my 1st car. 5 years later at 21 years old I am still going here with my now Mini Cooper S. Vinny and his staff are all exceptional people from greeting you as soon as you walk in to taking care of you as fast as possible. If you are looking for a trustworthy and honest place to bring your car, this is the place. They did work on my old Ford Focus and now my Mini Cooper S which really shows their knowledge of different vehicles.

I've only used their inspection service, but I must say while waiting I've spoken to many well satisfied customers! Vinny & staff have always been courteous & prompt! Highly recommend this company!

Ive been going to dnv since i was a kid with my father and when i got my first car. Vinny and his crew always took car of me. Always honest whether your a car expert or you don't know anything about cars. He always helped me out with any of my car problems. I live in orange county and i still go to vinny if i can.

My husband brought his car in to another repair shop near his work because the rear brakes were making noises and grinding. They charged $64.93 just to look at the car, then gave an estimate for $700 saying the brakes and rotors needed replacing.I knew this was way too high to pay for brakes and rotors...even if it included the calipers (though there was no mention of replacing the calipers at all). I had my husband pick up the car from them immediately so we could take the car to a trustworthy shop.My usual repair shop isn't open on weekends, and we needed the work done on a Saturday. I had heard nothing but excellent reviews about DNV, so we called to schedule an appointment. $247.89 later (including labor), we have brand new brakes and rotors, and the car works perfectly! DNV looked at the calipers and determined they did not need replacing.I'm beyond THRILLED to have found another great repair shop near me who is honest with their customers and doesn't try to take advantage of people. I highly recommend DNV.
