I'll never spend another dollar with this business. I knew better than to give them a second chance, but I did anyway when I purchased a used Stihl 200T that was "completely gone through and ready to work". After purchase I tried to start it in the parking lot and it wouldn't idle. I should of returned it immediately but I didn't. Thinking it probably just needed the carb tuned I took it home and tuned it. Still not acting right I decided to check for air leaks and found a torn intake boot. This would of ruined the saw had I not found it. The first saw they worked on for me was returned with stripped threads, gasket maker all over, and the original issue unfixed. Also, you never know what personality you'll get from the guy at the counter. There have been times I've felt like I was a big inconvenience from them. I'll drive out of my way, over to House Trucking for all my saw needs. I suggest you do as well.

Everyone needs to relax. This business is the only good mower repair service in town and they are swamped! Be patient and you will be very satisfied! They did an absolutely amazing job with my husband's riding lawn mower. It literally is like having a brand new mower! Yes, it took a while, but they're busy because they do a great job! They did not overcharge us, and they picked up and delivered our riding mower as promised. We are completely satisfied and will absolutely use them again.

Unfortunately for me,I purchased a sthil pole trimmer, $700. Next day 1st time use, ran poorly, wouldn't stay running. I was out of town on a job a job site. Obviously I was disappointed as it was costly for my Co.I returned it hoping to have it looked at while there. I was told I would have to come back for it.Then I had to ask for a receipt to prove I left it there!That was almost 2 weeks ago! Still no call saying it's done. It's 28 mile round trip for me.1st time customer and ....you can guess the rest.

I am a long time customer of crest and have purchased all of my power equipment though them over the years. I am extremely disappointed with my recent dealings with them. I have had my mower there for almost 5 months waiting to be repair and waiting on parts, I am a patient person but 5 months is ridiculous. Also I was quoted a price after they diagnosed the problem but when they finally finished the repairs and called me with a price that went up a couple hundred dollars for parts that I replace on the mower deck before I originally drop it off. Communication is non existent with them these days, never got any updates and when I called to get one they would have to call me back but never did. After all said and done I will never do business with them again and it is very sad that this place has gone down hill like this.

I honestly don t know how they stay in business. The owner, who is always at the counter, has no personality and is very rude. I ve purchased several pieces of equipment here over the years and have tried to keep my business local. But despite a few good employees, the owner is just too hard to deal with and I ll be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Terrible, terrible service after the sale. I brought an air blower back for service (3rd time). Cliff, the owner, told me about two weeks for it to be ready. After three weeks I called and he said soon . Finally after a month I went to get it and take it to a more competent business. Cliff refused to give me my machine, after discussion he insisted I pay 35 dollars for a diagnostic fee . I did pay the 35 dollars and he gave me no diagnostic sheet. When I asked him for it, he wrote me a receipt and the diagnostic determination was it doesn t start . The business itself is very slow and the owner is very rude. The equipment he repairs constantly breaks down again and again. I will never use this business again BEWARE!

Last year we had them co e get our mower as usual, yes most of them times was good but last year they had our tractor mower/snowblower they had my machine 4 months, kept calling asking what was taking so long their only excuse was the part was ordered but not come in yet, after 4 months I asked if this one place was only place that they can get the part. They gave a poor excuse, and no reason for not trying somewhere else. Won't go back.

I was told one to two weeks for a snow blower repair it has now been 6 months. When I called and asked to get my snow blower back even without the repairs done Cliff, the owner, told me he had it sitting apart and couldn't let me take it. I will never ever do business with this place again.

The owner has a bad attitude, he acts like he doesnt have any customer service skills. I'm a tree climber and every time I go there for something he treats me like an idiot. They didn't like that I didn't buy my saw from them. When I brought it there to get fixed they charged me the exact price of the same saw they had on the shelf. Crooks and terrible people skills, you would think they like the business not push it away. Ive talked to several of my tree friends and they all agree. I do not recommend this saw shop.

So they never answer their phone so if you call in a week and there's no telling if it's open or not so you have to drive down to them. My other half drove down just now and the sign says open to 1 PM on a Saturday just to get there at 11:20 and for them to be closed while he drove he drove all the way down there in a log truck which was an extra 40 miles out of the way. Used to think very highly of crest as I've gone there since I was a young kid with my father. Not holding up to the hype of what the place used to be.

this could possibly be the worst repair shop in the whole northeast. RUN AWAY NOW! i purchased a huskqvarna pro saw from them and it came with tons of defects which i found to be odd. i took it back to them to repair which took 6 months and they gave the saw back to me with more problems then i dropped it off with

We r not closed on Saturday we r open 8 to 3 sometimes if it's really busy we close early at 2:00 but we are always open on Saturday

Outstanding service and deals. I can t tell you the last time I ve experienced customer service like this. Every single employee came out during our lawn mower purchase and helped out, gave advice and showed they genuinely cared about our business. Highly recommend this place!!

Do not do business here! Horrible customer service and will do additional work without permission and make you pay for it to get your equipment back. The owner is rude and will not communicate with you and even lied to us! This place is a scam of a business do NOT go here unless you want to wait 8+ months to get work done and then be ripped off.

I bought a 2019 Hustler Raptor Limited for a great price. The sales guy was great! Delivered it on time and at no charge. Sales guy that drop the mower off went over everything with the mower. I give them an A+ and would recommend Crest Automotive to anyone looking for mower.PSWay better service than the big box stores!

I called here a couple times looking for a part for our husqvarna riding mower and these people didn't know what I was talking about. I was calling to get help as I'm not familiar with small engine and I figured they would know since their in the business ...nope ..very disjointed with their customer care as I was told I would be called back after supplying all known info on my mower. I never received a call back. If your looking to get your job done then don't go here or else it's like the blind leading the blind

Bill in service and all around guy, is very knowledgeable and friendly. The owner Cliff, also knows his business but has the personality of a rock. Curmudgeon comes to mind. LOL Great place to buy quality equipment though!

RUN AWAY FORM THIS SHOP! my saw has been "under repair" for six months and whenever i can to get a status update they never know what happened to it. will be filing in small claims court next month. Ill see you guys in court

I has reserved a 10' UHaul at Crest on tuesday September 25th, I got a call the next day from UHaul saying that they made a mistake there are no 10' trucks available but they could give me a 15' truck for the same price so I said sure no problem. On Friday the 28th I get to Crest at 10am and they tell me someone else had that truck and they were supposed to bring it back at 10 but hadn't shown up yet, I asked if they knew when it would be back and all they could tell me was the guy says he's on his way, I don't know why they scheduled a drop off and pick up at the same time. So I ask if it's the 15' truck I was told I would get and they said yes, and then they asked if I would take a smaller truck if it was available so I said sure and then they tell me oh well we don't have any 10' trucks available either, so why the hell they offered it to me I have no idea. Meanwhile there are 2 10' trucks sitting in their parking lot, but I figured those are reserved for others and let it go. So they tell me they will call me when the guy brings the truck back, so I walk around walmart for an hour with no call so I call them and they said oh yeah we have a truck here for you, great thanks for the call you know I have all day to wait around and do nothing. So I go back to Crest and they give me this truck that they had sitting by the road with a for sale sign in the front window while the same 2 10' trucks are still sitting in the parking lot. The guy opens the back and it is dirty as hell and there is no dolly that I reserved, so the guy gets one and throws it in, then tells me oh yeah you will have to stop for gas cuz it's just above empty. So after waiting and hour over my reservation time I get a dirty truck that hasn't been driven in who knows how long and before I can go anywhere I have to put gas in it so I don't run out and get stuck on the side of the road. These people have horrible time management, and some of the worst customer service I have ever seen and I am thankful that I no longer live in that area so I don't have to do business with them ever again.

Guy at counter was rude and extremely short when I asked for a simple universal item to a lawnmower (throttle cable) because it wasn't a brand he sold. I got a nope don't know who sells those and turned his back on me. Wouldn't and not ever going to buy a thing from there and I'll be spreading the word.
