Stocking plenty of everyday necessities, and packaged/processed foodstuffs. Fresh coffee and hot water for tea. Freezer storing bags of ice. Bulletin board filled with local events and advertisements. About three booths, divided by plexiglass. Bench out front and clean bathroom. Friendly cashier. In March 2023, Larry Sharpe stopped here after recording campaign videos nearby.

Usually all the Stewart's have friendly staff. This one is not one of them. They don't say good morning or thank you. Not even a smile. I went to the bathroom and there was no toilet paper. They have to improve a lot. Hopefully next time I go back I can change this review.

Cashier takes my money for two milkshakes then leaves me standing there while he rings out customer after customer before forgetting about me and walking away. Boo!One star because no stars isn't an option.

Every time I've stopped at this Stewart's shop and order a chicken sandwich the ladies always have the same excuse. They either ran out of chicken or it will be delivered in a couple of days. It never fails.Today I ordered a pie of pizza. Placed the order, it will be ready for pickup in 20 minutes. Well when I get there and asked for my pie the two ladies looked dumbfounded! They hadn't even started making it! I'm done with this particular store! I will not be returning to this establishment.You are better off driving a little bit more and take your business to the Stewart's shop in Palatine. I called that shop placed my order and when I got there my pie was ready what a difference!They are are very professional and efficient.FIVE STARS FOR Stewart's in PALATINE!!!

Went in for a root beer float, was charged for the float, as well as the bottle of root beer, which is not how any other Stewart s has done it. The cost of the root beer has always been included in the price of the float. When I asked the manager (Melissa) why she had rung it up like that, she became very rude to me, very demeaning. It was absolutely unacceptable. Regardless of whether what she said was true, that this is how Stewart s has told her to do it, there is no excuse to be rude to customers like that. Bad days are also no excuse for that behavior.

Your one stop shop if you don't want to go to a super market. The freshest milk and ice cream around. Awesome pizza and other food to grab on the go. Clean and neat with excellent customer service.

Stopped by this morning to grab a coffee and a breakfast sandwich on my travels from my night shift job to my day shift job. It was interesting to listen to the employee complain loudly to the older folk sitting at tables about how many breakfast sandwiches she was having to make because "nobody eats at home anymore" and they were selling so fast. Doesn't exactly make a friendly atmosphere for customers. Cannot honestly say I will use this store again for my daily coffee and sandwich. Disappointing.

Customer service is definitely lacking I've ordered pizza over the phone from them and when I got there they hadn't even started and they act like they don't care

I have had enough of the rudeness of the staff at the Stewarts in Fonda. The younger girls that work there are the rudeness I have ever encountered. I went there tonight, and was treated like I was dumb. This store used to be a pleasant atmosphere. Now I avoid it as much as possible. Thank God for the Stewart's Store on Route 5 near Amsterdam, because that store is the best!!!!!!!

I was at this Stewarts on Sunday evening June 30th (8:30?) and got $10 in gas and some food and I thought everyone was exceptionally friendly, especially Kim who was a total sweetheart.

I went to pump gas and the pump says NO NETWORK!I'll go to Cumberland Farms across the street where they sell more expensive gas.. Thanks!
