Super Huge ripoff !!It's blackmail! The price is ridiculous! Arbitrary charges! Every move is best to ask clearly! Everybody be careful! Don't think all Chinese people will be more honest! Took the tires off and checked them for $15!

Scam Shop, be aware, one of my customers went there with a little over 10k miles that doesn t need anything they lied and said it needs brakes to pass New York State inspection meanwhile the brakes are almost brand new with a good life on the pads and rotors. Just so everyone know if there is even 1mm life left on the pads and no safety concern with rotors/brakes NYS is very lenient and will pass.

Have always been greeted with friendly faces and knowledgeable staff. One of my favorite NYC Home Depot locations. ps. The garden center is amazing, just wish they had more of a cacti and succulent selection.

Very bad experience with car service. Got my brake pad changed at that auto shop. Brake pedal was soft and spongy after the replacement. Went back to auto shop to double check of possible air in brake line. Mechanic start telling the stories saying that is impossible for air to get into the brake line. Ask for extra charge for check up. I will never go back to that place again. Both manager and mechanic are rude and unprofessional.Service: Brakes

An honest mechanic, never oversells service needed. When my check engine went on, it was diagnosed that my catalytic converter was going bad, William the owner of New Amber , rather than replace my catalytic converter suggested that I try buying a bottle of catalytic cleaner at AutoZone. I bought it, used it, problem solved!!!. Spent $16.00, saved me thousands!! New Amber's prices on regular maintenance and body work are quite reasonable . Body work is very professional. I am a loyal customer for life! ( And no, I am not related to him, or is a drinking buddy!)

Ever since the new guy took charge of this place a few years ago when the previous owner retired, this place has become a rip off black shop like many other body shop within the area. The younger looking new owner will scam customers by replace parts and services the vehicles don't actually need by charging extra labors even the parts are relatively cheap but he started doing that for a few years. With that being said, try not to get anything done here and go to some reasonable shops in the area. Even if its a tiny job such as windshield wipers and a scratch on the surface, he will make you replace the entire parts in reality that you dont need to. So, please avoid going to this place.

Huge ripoff !!I replaced ONE front wheel bearing assembly for my Toyota Prius at this store. I was charged $542 for labour and parts. Less than half a hour they got the easy job done and earned huge money for labour. Later on I found a brand new wheel bearing assembly for my car only costs less than $50 online. I also inquired another NYC garage in Brooklyn where I got a quote for only $200 for labour AND parts!If you are Chinese as the owner and mechanics are, and are thinking they will offer great price or service, you are WRONG. They rip off you regardless of your race. You should shop around for the best deal.I do NOT recommend any one to go for repair at this shop at all!

William, the owner, is a very nice, very honest full service auto technician! My Nissan was overheating and he had it fixed the next day, flushed out the coolant, changed a belt etc. I have more life from this car now! Very reasonable price!! Thank you William!!

About three years ago, I went to him because another mechanic could not fix a problem after replacing $1500 worth of parts.This morning, William diagnosed a problem in ten minutes and did not even charge a diagnostic fee. Pepboys (closer to my house )told us will take 4 hours to diagnose a problem and will cost $90. Definitely worth to travel to see William.

KungFu Panda! haha two months ago I brought my car for yearly inspection, then was reminded by this cool dude said that is was time to do oil change. He also given me a suggestion to change the 2 tires on front before the snow comes, or Not so it was up to me. So last week after seeing how bad my front tires are, I decided to change them and have my 1 back tire change too. I wanted to change all my tires but my mechanic said my 1 tire is still usable and don t waste money like that and only get what I needed done. my car have to be at best condition for my baby daughter.

Bring my own oil and filter to do the oil change. My car need 4 QT oil, but they put a whole jug 5Qt into the engine, waste my money and may damage the engine. Another time they forgot to close the oil cap on the engine, several days later, oil splashed everywhere. I will never come back to this place.

Scam artist! Go at your own risk! They hit my car outside their shop and blamed me! The worker was opening a parked car driver side door and his door mounding fell off and he says I did it! Those that know about body work, the molding doesn't fall off that easily especially from that angle, so upsetting, I missed teaching an after school class because of these jerks!

Avoid this place! Worst place ever! They did not tied the wheel screw completely and the wheel came off when I was way back home! Be careful guys if you don t want lost you life.
