UPDATE: 4/28/23 Picked up my car. The guys at Federal did a great job. They even took care of the stuff I left in the car because my mind just wasn't all there. I just wanted my car to be fixed. It looks like new now. They even cleaned up the mess inside the car for me. Now I really have to take care of my Spark!Haven't picked up my car yet, but, at least they're upfront on how much it will cost for the car to be repaired. Will update this post when I pick up the car.

First of all, it took them a month to get my car back to me and then after I get my car back, they lost my lug lock. They got overspray all over my car and windows and they scratched moldings and I had to bring it back to get it all redone, and they still left the overspray on my windows. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I m complaining to this place because I don t have time to keep bringing my car back so these idiots can fix it when it should ve been done in a week or two behind the desk, but other than that, I m not happy with the way they did my car. The paint job looks OK but the service they did I mean what they paint your car and then screw up the rest of the car by leaving overspray all over my windows and then I bring it back. They say that they took it off and it s still on there .

Always a good experience with Joe and his workers.I highly recommend them for their servce and friendy atmosphere. They return my car cleaner than I turn it in.

Definitely recommend to come here to get your car fixed! Great service and great workers. Very kind and attentive. Came here thinking I wouldn't be able to get my front bumper fixed but I was happy with what they could do in a short amount of time. :) Thank you!!

I also found Federal through my insurance company and recently returned for some out of pocket auto body work. Hard to believe that my 2009 Hyundai Santa Fewith 145, 000+ miles looks new again.Thanks again John and Kyle

It's too slow even if it's slow. They do nothing and leave the car outside for more than 10 days and then fix it. (The longer they leave it, the more labor charging they will have, right?) They just make excuses that it takes a long time because they have to get approve from insurance. (The insurance company gave approve two days later.)

Had a Geico claim here recently for a side swipe incident. I was apprehensive because I have heard horror stories of GEICO partnered shops cutting corners and completing shoddy repairs. After checking out the reviews online and exploring the facility in person, I decided to give it a shot.Boy, am I glad that I did.Took about two and a half weeks (vs 2 weeks that they quoted me), but I had a loaner that was easily set up through shop. Their staff here are super friendly and the service I received rivaled or surpassed that of various Lexus dealers that I am accustomed to.Most importantly, the job was done perfectly. My 3 stage paint was matched properly, and body dents were pulled out to factory specs. I was hard pressed to find evidence of overspray or paint inconsistency, even under a flashlight. The wheels were refinished fantastically and the vehicle realigned. Pretty sure they washed the car and detailed the interiorI am a stickler for detail, and I regularly wash and clean my vehicles with clay bars, random orbital polishers, and various paint sealants. As such, I have a pretty good eye for spotting poor repair paint jobs . These guys met my expectations and then some. Wouldn t hesitate to come back

Got a $65 dollar ticket because my car was parked outside the shop on 4/26 while it was in their possession. I never saw this ticket because they removed it from my car and never told me about it. Left a voicemail about this asking for a call back, which was ignored.Also had to clean sticky residue off of the inside of my windshield.The work was good but hiding a ticket and refusing to return my calls about it is scummy.

When was the last time you went into a business and they not only told you the truth and saved you money but also was knowledgeable and courteous.I recently had an accident with damage to my back bumper. I went through Geico and had the inspection and rental all scheduled.As soon as I got there, I was greeted and TLDR - The bumper damage was considered minor and not worth the deductible price to repaint it.Thank you.Service: Painting

I had my car repaired through my insurance at Federal recently and the service there was absolutely phenomenal. They repaired multiple panels on my car and did a fantastic paint job. Kyle handled my repairs and he went above and beyond for me. All the staff there were always so pleasant and responded quickly and efficiently to any questions I had. So far going good. Kyle is handling the paper work with the insurance company and reparing arrangements including ordering the part needed for the repair. I'll be dropping off my car next week in the morning of specific day agreed and I am looking forward to get everything worked out as discussed and planned with Kyle. I'll update again once my car is repaired.Update: Federal Auto Body did wonderful job reparing my car. My car got a new bumper and repainting where it was scratched. As promised, part was ordered before dropping off my car. Kyle said it will take 3 days for repair, but to my surprise, it was all fixed up by next day. All of the process from making arrangement for repair, drop off, rental car, and pick up went as planned. Highly recommended.

Kyle and his team are absolutely incredible. I have brought my car in once using insurance and second out of pocket. He provided me with multiple options and I never felt like he was looking to gouge me.I wish I would have taken pictures of the car before I took it in. But the guard did more damage and the bumper, headlight and hood needed to be replaced. When I saw my car I couldn't believe how great she looked. My neighbor said my car looks brand new! So if your looking to get your car repaired this is the place to go! Had a fender bender and my car was sent here for repairs. Great place! The guy who helped me and took care of my repairs was friendly AND kept me informed about the process with my car. Every time I called to see how the repair was coming along he made sure he told me what was happening and never seemed bothered that I called more than once. DEFINITELY recommend this place as the experience for me while my car was being fix was a great one.

I showed up and immediately they assisted me. Even though is not something that they work with they helped me mitigate the issue and I was able to leave that place safe and they did it in 10 minutes. If you want excellence service this is the place.

Some body shops offer quality work, others offer great service, and others offer great pricing. However federal amazingly provides all three. Kyle and John are fantastic.

Everyone at Federal Auto was friendly, professional and helpful! I went there because I was in a small accident with my Lincoln MKC. I had a family friend refer them. I had no idea where to go and it was the best suggestion. My car doors needed to be replaced. They were very efficient. When I picked up my vehicle it was perfect!! Like nothing ever happened! I was very happy with them and Kyle was especially helpful. I highly recommend!! Best experience!! Thank you to Federal Auto Body!!!

This body shop has Geico express service. I have Geico and have had work done here before(2018 Subaru Outback for rear quarter panel and rear door, a 2021 BMW x7 front quarter panel and passenger door). The work they do here is exceptional. The shine and glow when the work is done..makes you smile from ear to ear!Only a suggestion, they should give text updates every 3 days. It would help with customers that like to micromanage and be on top of everything that is being done and the time line, I am sure it will decrease the workload for the guys up front. Constant phone calls from customers asking for updates is such a waste of time and headache.

NOT recommend at all. My car was fixed on July. Before we dropped the car, my brand new backup tire is there. But last night, we got flat tire and tried to replace with my original backup tire which is cost me $650, not the smaller size backup tire. I paid for the original off-road tire, even the plastic cover was there. It's gone!!! Can't believe it, someone stole my tire!!!! Oh, maybe you can say not stolen . SWITCHED!!! They switched to a used small tire. Plan to call Johnny (the owner or manager) but my boyfriend said we won't get the tire back and they will not admit it. That s what I believe. Just want to let you guys know, be care of this place. Forgot to mention, we didn't get the car on time as they promised, only when you called you got updates. Also, the day we returned the rental car and picked up ours, the car got problem again. It was on our way home, within 5 minutes' driving? They didn't fix it and tested it? We had to go back to Federal, called the rental company at the same time. But lucky, the car got fixed that day.

I've used Federal previously and have always had a great experience. There are a few things you look for and require from a shop and that is professionalism, transparency, and customer service. Kyle provides end to end service and peace of mind while you go on with your busy lives. I recommend Federal to anyone who is looking for quality work and no hassle.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Can t find where to even begin. I picked my car today and let me just point out the time frame was a lil bit more than expected but it s only because it was more than just body work. And frankly I rather it be done right PeriodT. These guys know BEST! and when it comes to safety they don t mess around and I m grateful for that! My Dodge Durango runs even better now and Looks better now than when I got it at the dealership. It look friggin amazing !!!!!!!! Kyle and John really went above and beyond what I expected. They are never a disappointment EVER! I m smiling from ear to ear still So happy with the body work! The car is running so smooth that it definitely gave me the confidence that my accident took from me and I think that s the ultimate thing I got today. We had a terrific experience with Federal Auto Body. They provide excellent customer service and returned our car to us in much better shape then we gave it to them (including cleaning and detailing it). We highly recommend them for all of your auto body needs.

In 2010, someone hit me in the back and damaged the bumper so insurance company sent me to this auto body shop for needed repairs. I never forgot their professionalism and kindness with getting needed repair done to vehicle.Well kept this auto body shop in mind when got side swiped on Van Wyck Expressway. This time met Alex and I paid out pocket without assistance of insurance company. He reassured me that work would get done efficiently. I have to say was apprehensive but Alex showed same professionalism that I had experienced years earlier. He gave a great quote and timely completion of needed work on car. I advise anyone looking to have great work done on vehicle to utilize this shop!! I will never forget how they assisted me and hope that others take the chance and use them too!!!

My dad (Gil) took the car here, and the repairs were great. The customer service by Kyle was fantastic. Definitely recommend going to this place to get your car repaired.

Federal is the best place I could find for the repair of my car. They are very professional in every single detail. My car looks just like when I just bought it from the Lexus dealer. The whole staff are masters here. Great job Federal. Thank you!

Last night scraped my wife s car entering the garage.The scrape was about 10 inches long 8 inches wide.John looked at it, excused himself and came back with a white rag. He wiped the paint of the garage door off the car. Presto!, as if nothing happened.And John, the boss, refused to take any payment in return. I will definitely recommend Federal to family and friends. To John and Federal, it s not all about money!

The worst repair ship in Norther Blvd. They charged us over $13,000 for repair and afterwards the car was giving us a lot of issues and they said, "Sorry, these issues were not related to our repairs." They failed to help and I highly recommend getting your repairs done directly from the manufacture of your car.

2 stars for friendliness and the fact that they did fix the problem, but no more because they created more and didn't care to fully fix it.If you really must go here for whatever reason. Take thorough pictures of your car for documentation because chances are they will scratch your car or mess up something else externally.
