STAY AWAY!I normally get my oil changed at Walmart in Commack. I made an appointment 1 week ago and when I got here the tech Yuri said the drain plug is not tight and there is a small leak. They denied my car getting an oil change. They said the oil drain was not tight and I was leaking oil. They also said my car had no oil in it.I spoke with Walmart in Commack and the tech there said they should do a pre inspection to see if the drain plug will tighten before denying my car. Obviously the Commack location didn't tighten oil drain plug correctly but Farmingdale should have been able to see.Then I had to buy $30.00 worth of oil just to drive to Commack to have them change the oil. Complete waste of 2.5 hours of my day and $30.00 for oil.

Because this location is short-staffed.....they are purposely cancelling appointments. They would call you and say they are rescheduling your appointment, and give the reason that they are closed the day you want to come in, or some other random excuse. Then, they would cancel that second appointment Online. Then issue a refund saying Sorry things did not work out, and here is your refund. They would not answer their phone because they are embarrassed that Walmart would not hire more help to handle the overwhelming appointments for services. They are better off answering the phone and being honest in telling the customers that we simply cannot take on your request. Keep in mind they can only handle about 10 customers a day....and that is not good. You are better off going to a local tire shop or Mavis.

Couldn't make the appointment online. Went in on a weekend(not a weekend) was shift & painless. They got me in & out for tires. (Reading some of the reviews had fingers crossed)was out in 45 min. Love it

I ordered two tires online on 11/27/2023. A full three weeks later I received an email stating that ONE of the tires was delivered to the store. A couple a days later I received another email stating the the entire order was ready for pick up. On 12/18/2023 at 11:15am I responded to the Auto Service area to pick up my tires. As I patiently waited in line at the counter to be helped (and was next to be attended to) another customer walked up and inquired about something he required from a locked case out on the store floor. The customer respectfully deferred to me since he knew I was next to be served and the employee (with no name tag affixed) mumbled something and then walked away to assist him.Upon his return I stated that was there to pick up two tires that were delivered. His response was to roll his eyes and let out a big sigh... After I provided him with my order number he picked up two tablets and walked out to the shop area. The time was 11:34am. At 12:05pm he eventually returned and informed me that he could not find the tires. At 12:08pm the Service Manger informed me that she was going to try and locate the tires and would be back in 5 minutes. She returned 15 minutes later to inform me that the tires were delivered but they were the wrong size!At that point she canceled the order and I left Walmart. I cannot imagine that this is the way Walmart runs a business!P.S. There was another customer who was behind me on line that was there to have four tires installed and after waiting an hour he just took the tires and left with them.

Worst job performed. This Auto care center doesn't care about their customers and try to cheat them out of doing a paying job the was order. I order 2 tires from Walmart and had the installation package included which they split up into, installation ($15 each), valve replacement ($3 each) and road Hazzard warranty ($10 each) , a fair price just like any other place. However, they didn't install the valves and still charge me for them. Very dishonest place. So imagine Going for an oil change and not getting your oil or oil filter replace after you pay for it. Not happy at all how they cheat customers of the simple things. Pictures are proof the I still have my old valves in my rims.Service: Tires

Arrived on time.. had to wait a while for tires to be located.. but after that, all went smooth. I had wheels/rims only, which made things easier. The mount and balance went good, dude knew what he was doing and double checked his work. I can't complain at all !

I had my appointment scheduled for 3PM, I arrived at 2:40PM. Now it's 5:23PM STILL WAITING FOR MY TIRES TO BE INSTALLED. This place is not a good place to install your tires!!! It's better to just order it online and pick it up and install it somewhere else. They never answer their phone, they are short staffed. At the end of the day it's not like I'm getting it for free. I paid for this!!!! Very Disappoointed!!!Service: Tires

We got a great price for Goodyear Reliant tires for Black Friday 2022. It was $150 for 2 215/60R16 tires and free installation for my 2010 Hyundai Sonata. There aren t any reviews for this tire on Tire Rack or any similar website but for the specs listed, you can t get a better tire in this size anywhere for $75 with installation included. However the regular price for the tire with installation seems to be around average for this size.I ordered and made an appointment online. The employees were all very nice and did a good job. It took longer than expected but that wasn t a problem for me since we were shopping in the store anyway. I came in at 4pm and the car was ready a bit after 6pm so roughly 2 hours.However there were a few other problems which i m overlooking because of the good price.The first problem is that I originally ordered on 11/15/2022 for pickup and installation on 11/25/2022. They called me a day before I was supposed to get the tires installed and canceled my order because the mechanic was sick. I m obviously not going to fault them for the mechanic being sick but they should have given me the option of rescheduling at a later date. Thankfully the Black Friday deal was still going on and I was able to reorder for a later date.The second problem is that they never once picked up the phone. Before my second appointment, I wanted to confirm that the mechanic was back and okay to do the job. I called almost everyday for a week trying to get ahold of someone and no one would pick up.The third problem is the underlying factor for all of my other problems, they are very understaffed. There was only one mechanic doing all of the work. A couple of years back when I went to the Walmart Auto in Commack, NY, they had 3 mechanics working on the cars. I really hope that this Walmart adds at least another mechanic so that the employees aren t overworked and that we get better service.Also they left my car unlocked outside after they were finished. Someone could have stole something or even the car itself (my car doesn t have an immobilizer). They really should be locking the doors.Service: Tires

Absolutely beyond disgusted of this place. I ordered tires a week prior to my appointment and the NIGHT before they send me an email and txt that they had canceled my tires because I didn t go pick them up according to the email. But if I buy tires from them they re suppose to install them. The next morning I still showed up in hopes of getting some answers, come to see it was they re air compressor that damages and they couldn t do the job. So why blame me and why couldn t someone call me as courtesy to explain. They just decided that it was ok to cancel my order without explaining or honoring the price I had bought for . Would never recommend anyone to come here. with Walmart overall

Bought my own full synthetic oil and filter for my car to do my own oil changes. And the savings are incredible to do it on your own if you know what you re doing. Which honestly isn t that difficult at all.

The walmark Farmingdale Auto Care Center is like a relative that owe you money but got caller ID. They're not picking up the phone, it doesn't matter how many times you call, and if you let the phone ring too many times. They'll pick it up and lay it down. Far as they're concerned, you're the bill collector and there isn't anyone home...Try something different bcause thats not working. Lmbo!!!

This Walmart auto care mechanics is the best & professional. They do their job best .I have been to so many other Walmart auto , but so far this one is the best . And on the counter, the lady, I think her name was TYANNA , she was amazing . Thank you

I received multiple notifications that the tires were delivered. I talked with customer service who assured me they were delivered but when I went to Walmart to have them installed I was told they did not have them. I had very frustrated and disappointed experience. I scheduled an appointment online to replace 4 tires. One day before the appointment I received a confirmation message. I had the first appointment in the morning, got there on time; however my appointment had been canceled because my appointment was not shown in their system. They refuse to accept me on this day. People there are not cooperative or helpful.

Put me on hold for 15 minutes to make an appointment for the installation of tires that's a week away. Smh for tires walmart should be installation anytime if you buy online

I called customer service for setup an appointment for install my new tire but they said they don't do appointment, it's walk-in. When I show up morning 9am, they said it will take 6 hours. If I setup an appointment for next available day it could be faster like 1 hour. They make appointment for me two days later at 11am. I show up 15 minutes early. They processed paperwork and take my car key and said it will take 3 and half hour because another two car before me. I said I can't wait that long. Then the guy say if I take early appointment for next available day, they will start working with my car. I take Saturday #1 appointment time at 8am. I came on time. They installed 4 new tire. When I Was driving to my house, Low tire pressure sign show up. With my old tire there was no low tire pressure sign. I go back to auto care center. They said it could be my tire sensor bad. But my tire sensor was good with my old tire. They said I need to fix sensor from my dealer.((( I went to a local tire shop and they show me one of my tire sensor was missing. It's not even there.)))What kind of services we are getting from them??? I'm not visiting that place again ! Just a worse service center ever I see in my life !!!

When I d use to come here for oil changes, it was no problem. Now, it s like they can t do it because of appointments. I found another spot that s not difficult. He was kind of rude too, the guys on the bay were great.

I booked an appointment 2 weeks in advance to install tires. Two days before the appointment, they call to tell me that the Auto Center is not even open on that day.Why did the website allow me to book it in the first place? After I did book it, why didn't they call the next day to reschedule?Total clowns.Service: Auto tire replacement

Really wish it was possible to give zero stars, but the only redeeming factor was the worker who rung us up. He was very understanding and worked to speed up the process. I waited almost four hours for a process (changing four tires I purchased) that should of only taken one. I made an appointment online and came in to hear that it didn t go through. The shop floor workers and older worker were very rude and didnt do much to compromise or apologize. Instead they made excuses and just said it was just how it is. Also, the shop people did not know how to wear a mask which at this point during the pandemic should be common sense. Overall, very disappointed with the service and my first and last time going to Walmart for car services.

They don t pick up the phone call for the appointment. They were able to install the tires for me when I walked in. They did not take my appointment at the first place,but I said I drove one hour from the city and I did not mind waiting for 2 hours. They took me in and I only waiting for 40 minutes.The receptionist was nice although he worked and walked very slow. It was good experience even though I was expecting the worst cause the google reviews super low. We could discover the beauty if we are looking for the bright side.

Absolutely horrible. I wish there were a -0 stars option. The staff is rude, poorly trained, unprofessional and have no concept on how to deal with customers-not a modicum of courtesy. I went there to have a car battery replaced; the service was so slow and the technicians so rude and unknowledgeable, I decided to leave without getting the work done. Do not go there to have your car serviced or for anything for that matter. Go to Commack instead. At least over there they respect customers.

Waste of time. I was the first person there in the morning. I asked for the an oil change and the guy told me I d have to wait at least a few hours. I tried calling the day prior to make an appointment but no one picked up the phone. Only two workers in the shop. Understaffed. Go somewhere else unless you have all day.

Its nice to give a good review for walmart at least once and here it is. Very friendly the wait time was a little long but they were short handed. I didn't mind because the prices for the oil change was good.

I saw quite a few negative comment and it did happen to me that no one pick up the phone when I call. But I was surprised they agreed to put the tires on my car when I arrived at 6:20 pm. Not only that, the Walmart website misled me in ordering the wrong tire for my Subaru outback. The front desk person (Tred ? ) handled it patiently and help me to return it and buy another tires in stock. The car is ready while I was on line to return the wrong tires. The whole thing was done in a little over an hour. The young mechanic who installed the tires was polite as well. I hope they can keep up the good service.

I don't know why they even bother opening the automotive department. I went to have 2 front tires replaced on my car and they told me that they could sell me the tires but if I actually wanted them mounted that I would have to wait at least 2 weeks.. like maybe I'm going to balance and mount my own tires. I was out of town so this was the closest Walmart to me, but it still almost 30 miles away from me.

Service is good.Staff gave me the complete information.When I went to pick up my Tyres, staff suggested to come early morning because in the evening, there were 2 cars before and clock will tick 8 PM until those 2 cars get fixed.Next day morning I was the first one and staff finished my card work in 20 minutes.

This Walmart auto care people are rude. I went to put on my tires that I bought from Walmart.com but he refused to work, even though there was no customer at the auto center at that moment. He told me need an appointment but I called 20 times before I went there and no-one pick up the phone ever!!Auto care people are lazy here, they want to get paid by doing nothing.It s better go to other Walmart s auto care

Litterally never have time to install your tires.You have a 7 day window to pick up, but you have to guess when will they be in a good mood & available to actually service your purchase.Walmart needs to address this. Set appointments!

I failed to read the reviews before driving 40min out of my way. So that's on me. No greeting from the Easy E looking dude. I pulled up to the lube entrance bay & "Easy E" yells to me that I have to park my vehicle in the parking lot. Mind you, there's no signage with that direction. I go in and Easy E is at the register doing paper work. He says nothing. No, "give me a moment" or "I'll be right with you," nothing . 5 minutes later he asks if he can help and I ask for an oil change. Then he proceeds to tell me, at 1:15pm, that they may not take my car because the mechanics haven't had break. Then he yells to the mechanic if he's taking cars after, the mechanic doesn't respond. I just left at that point. I had a bad feeling about that place...
