My Sister just gave my Son Luke her 2012 Jeep which has been serviced at T n J for a long Time and it is running fantastic.I would say it is the best repair shop ever. Excellent work and total trust in all they do.

Tom was extremely helpful! We broke down a block away from his shop, he was able to go out of his way and help us get back on the road and finish our long drive home. I will definitely drive 1 1/2 hours back to see Tom for my future mechanical needs! Highly recommend!

Brought a car I was looking at purchasing from a nearby "dealer". Carfax said 1 owner, no accidents, low miles. Tom was able to pinpoint and show how that was false and in fact was in a likely unreported accident. Other issues like a head gasket leak, wheel hub bearings and a EVAP code were also found. Saved me thousands and a huge headache, can't thank him enough. He was honest, quick, professional and I highly recommend to anyone looking at purchasing a car.

Tom & team is always fair, and has great turn around times. Recently, they did a window repair (operational, not glass) on my car. I had to bring it back for another adjustment the next day and they stayed late to honor their work and get it done finally. What mechanic has 5 stars?!? This says it all. You can go here with peace of mind that you have found an honest mechanic. I have bought 3 cars from Tom and each time have been astonished at his level of service and the quality of the cars. He took care of everything from soup to nuts! All the DMV paperwork. This last car he actually delivered to my sister in law in Kingston and made a stop on the way to get the plates from her old car. I cannot say enough about his expertise, professionalism, level of service, kindness and reliability. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

We have used TNJ for years. They always provide fair, honest and quality work. Just yesterday my car had to be towed to their repair shop at. 5pm (on a Friday before a long holiday weekend). Tom had the power steering pump diagnosed, repaired, and back to me by 8pm so that I wouldn t be without my vehicle for days. Thank you Tom and everyone at TNJ for always going a step above!

I have been using TNJ as my mechanic for the last 18 years. Tom and Jim (the owners) and their crew are, without a doubt, the best mechanics you could ask for. As another reviewer said, you will get what you ask them to do - nothing more, nothing less. They are the most honest mechanics I have ever had the pleasure in dealing with, and do a wonderful job. Highly, highly recommended. As long as they're around, I will never take my car anywhere else.

My family and I have been going to this mechanic for years! The "T" in "TNJ" stands for Tom... he's the owner and the man to speak to when you're having car troubles. All of his staff is polite and gets their work done promptly with wonderful results. Tom is kind with a great work ethic and you can see that it has passed down to his employees.Not only do they repair cars, but they also sell them! I just purchased a vehicle from him at a great price for what I got, and could not be happier. This is not the first time my family has done so, and certainly won't be the last! My sister and brother-in-law are in the market for a new mid-size in a budget, and every week Tom goes to dealers and auctions looking for something they'll love that he can check out, clean, and send them off with.I will never change my mechanic or place to buy used cars. This location is down to earth and does not skyrocket prices for services or vehicle purchases. I recommend Tom to people I meet, and now I am recommending him to you!

We've been using TNJ for over 15 years, Tom and staff incredibly honest and reliable and they stand by their work. I can go on and on about how many times through the years Tom and staff have saved me money with simple things like telling me all I needed was a fuse after the dealer told me I had a problem that would cost hundreds of dollars to fix. Also, years ago Tom literally saved me thousands of dollars when I was going to buy a car off of lease and asked him to check it, even though the car was less then 3 years old Tom found serious issues that I would not have known about and would have had to pay for to fix if I went ahead and bought the car since the warranty would have expired.. This is the only repair shop I would ever go to.

Tom is a stand up guy who always is fair and attentive. They do quality and dependable work and always in a timely fashion. I have 3 cars I bring to TNJ and just recently Tom worked on my boat trailer and did an excellent job. We will always go to TNJ Auto

One of the best places on earth! The owners are Tom and Jim and they do honest work at reasonable prices. Its so nice to deal with them as they are not looking to rip you off like so many other auto repair shops. If I could give them more that 5stars I sure would.

Brought my car there for the first time with a few different issues. They did everything i asked them to do at a reasonable price. Couldn't ask for more. Being in the auto industry myself i can tell you this is a great place to bring your car. I would definitely come back.

Each time I ve been here they ve fixed the issue quicker and cheaper than I expected. Excellent service, communicative on the phone, and clear about the whole process. I drive 20 minutes out of the way to go here & will continue while I live on LI.

Straight forward repair shop. Honest and trustworthy. Been using them for the little stuff and the big for 12 years.Hard to find good shops on LI but this is one of them.

At TNJ you will get what you ask them to do, Nothing more, Nothing less, and it will be done right the first time, price's are good, Tom and his crew are like the old days, they don't skimp on the corners they just do the right thing.
